What about Damage Control?? Wish you guys had talked about that one! The two shows I was looking forward to the most were Damage Control and New Warriors and I’m so sad nothing came of them.
Oh man, I was so excited for Damage Control. I mean, it's such an interesting premise of like, well, what does happen after a superhero city destruction? It's great (I guess) that we got a nod of it in Spider-Man, but it would've been so cool to see it actually happen.
Damage Control eventually turned into "Powerless" a DC sitcom with a similar premise, it ran for 1 season It's about a Wayne Enterprises subsidiary that helps victims of super-powered incidents, Alan Tudyk plays Bruce Wayne's cousin, which i'd say it's the fifth or sixth funniest instance of Alan Tudyk playing a DC character (He was in Harley Quinn, Doom Patrol, Young Justice and Batman the Brave and the Bold)
MARVEL's Most Wanted hurts a lot. Bobby and Hunter were amazing Characters in AoS and they were doing pretty well. But Then the series didn't happen and they ended up without their proper jobs.
The most awkward thing about Most Wanted was writing out two popular characters to get them a show... then not doing the show and not bringing those two back. Just pull a Constantine and bring them back to the ensemble show when the solo thing didn't work out how you wanted.
I was soooooo excited for the Generation X movie when it came out. That was one of the biggest disappointments of my teenage years. The only thing I remember about it was Jubilee's yellow lipstick and searching for months to find some for myself.
I remember watching some of that back in the day. It wasn't terrible, wasn't great. They did okay with their limited resources. I liked that the villain looked like Andy Warhol.
Was hoping theyd talk about Damage Control and John Ridley's unnecessarily secret project And I REALLY wanna know who Most Wanted villian would be... apparently it would be somebody well known
Out of all these projects, I really wanted to see Marvel’s Most Wanted because Bobbi and Hunter were two of my favorite AoS characters, and New Warriors because Milana Vayntrub (Lily from AT&T) was going to play Squirrel Girl.
And then they can proceed to do every power rangers show and season and not do anything else in between and they slowly lose their minds watching like 30 seasons of power rangers
The cancellation of Most Wanted was the worst news for younger me. I was obsessed with Agents of Shield and when those characters left, I was very sad in general lol.

I have never read and know nothing about Moon Knight, but I love the two directors who are making the series so I'm incredibly excited for it. I highly recommend checking their movies out if you like different interesting sci-fi stuff. They are really original and you should watch all their movies blind and in order of release as some films are set in the same universe. I also am really disappointed that we didn't get that Guillermo Del Toro Hulk series. Or the Peter Jackson Nightmare on Elm Street, but that's a different discussion.
Moon Knight is a really weird character. He's kind of an Egyptian themed Batman, but there's this really complex plot about identity as the character takes on/legit has several personalities that he operates with. I only know a very little but, but I always wanted to read the comics when I was a kid because he looked cool.
i liked the Generation X movie, it was on tv and accessible, and i had just gotten i think a map of the X mansion in a comic book or comics magazine? and i liked the exterior with all the ivy and Finola Hughes was hot as Emma Frost. i liked that they used almost all of the characters from the book, except for Chamber who had a gaping maw where his mouth should be and light and energy blasting out of it, but in the comics he had it covered up most of the time, so they maybe could have done it somehow, and Husk wasn't that far from Buff, Husk shed her skin and had different skins, sometimes a buff one, so they could have maybe done her too.
