Deadpool killustrated is interesting. He kills the marvel universe, he kills alternate universe people, then he starts going into literary works like tom Sawyer and killing them... and a team of people I think lead by sherlock holmes have to stop him
My favorite part of the original Marvel Zombies series was that Hulk had a huge hole blasted in his stomach, so every time he ate, the food would just fall out. He was so grumpy and frustrated.
I really liked the MC2 continuity back in the day, where most of the OG Avengers were either dead or retired after a horrible experience in an alternate reality, so a bunch of kids of superheroes, one kid of a supervillain, and an android allegedly programmed with a personality based on tony Stark reformed the avengers after battling Loki together. Oh, and in the same continuity, Peter Parker's daughter is Spider-Girl.
Betty Ross was originally hinted to have been killed off by radioactive Hulk exposure, but then it revealed that the Hulk was framed. This is the 616 universe btw, so Spider-Man Reign didn’t do the idea first like the internet thinks.
I get what they WANTED to say with Spider-Man Reign, like Peter being too intimate with someone ultimately caused their death, because being with someone that has radioactive blood is dangerous. But I and a lot of others couldn't take the 'death by semen' scene seriously. Otherwise it wasn't a bad comic, but just as James and Maso said.... weird.
There were multiple people in the editing/publishing process that read that and said: "Yes. This is a fine and normal thing to put in a Spider-Man comic."
I was expecting a shouout to Ruins. It's depressing, mean and sad but also short and weirdly fascinating with sort of an ugly but not really ugly artstyle to complement. I like it.

As a kid, my favourite apocalyptic present was the age of apocolypse. Not a dystopian future, as it got nuked into the past until they kept dredging it up for diminishing returns.
Also no they can’t yet, they still haven’t introduced like 80% of the heroes in that, so what your asking for is them to remake age of ultranationalist with some of the comic characters but still not the important ones, just dumb lmao
The old What If? series was always an excuse to do alternate timelines where your favorite heroes died horribly. I remember one was What If Death’s Head I Had Lived? It had Baron Zemo in an unstoppable robot body, brutally killing The Fantastic Four, Captain America, War Machine, Luke Cage and Namor, but that all means that Death’s Head I, a character I have never heard of or seen anywhere else, got to survive. Worth it?
The Last Avengers Story may fall short of being a classic, but it has some cool moments. And I think the running gag on "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" of Steve Rogers being on the Moon was inspired by that comic
