Really wish they'd made the X-men Cornetto Origin as they'd have to show Magneto age from Michael Fassbender to Ian Mckellen in the 8 year period between dark Phoenix and Xmen
And they also had to explain how Havok, Cyclops' LITTLE BROTHER, was somehow a teenager in the mid-1960s, while Cyclops himself was a teenager in the mid-1980s...
There’s only an eight year gap between those movies?! Well just proves Mason’s theory of if you forget everything else that came before you may be able to enjoy that x-men movie.

I definitely would've wanted to see the gambit film but with the first actor because I thought he did a really good job with what he was given and seeing him bust out of the Stryker island by throwing explosive playing cards would've been pretty sic.
I was actually looking forward to future Amazing Spider-Man's and the Sinister Six crossover. I liked the first Amazing Spider-Man and liked the second when it came out (though it gets significantly worse with each rewatch).
1:52 I randomly watched the end fight scene to the 2003 Hulk film yesterday and turns out that film has the same issue as Daredevil mentioned in this video.
Fun Fact: here we are a year later.. Annnnd…Spider-Verse AND Sinister Six are about to happen all at once, mashed together (which does make sense. Peter is up against 6 villains (Venom being one! So, now HE is in the MCU!), he would need help!), in ONE movie. Not only is the new Venom now in the MCU, Willem Decor’s Green Goblin is in it, Alfred Molina’s Dr Otto Octavius/Dr Octopus (Doc Ock, for short) is in it, and Toby Maguire & POSSIBLY Andrew Garfield are both in it (they show a tall, thin Spider-Man telling Holland’s Spidey he wants to help. But, he has his mask on. Voice isn’t Garfield’s. BUT….Marvel had even changed VISUALS in a trailer, as compared to the actual movie, just to throw us off for an eventual swerve or curveball. So, I believe it is Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man Parker. Just my take. If it ISN’T Garfield the actor, then it’s still that character from ASM franchise. Idk why they are keeping him secret, though. Not when they’ve already shown the others’ faces. Jamie Foxx’s Electro, from AMS2, is also in it. I think we are still 2 villains shy of 6. But, I believe that is coming. But, as you can see…we have them from all the Universes other than the original MCU (Venom started out as a Sony-verse character like Spidey. Only, he wasn’t a Sony-MCU Hybrid, to start. So, I say there HAS to be 2 villains, that are original to the MCU, such as Vulture. Maybe Vulture AND Mysterio…who we find isn’t dead. Maybe Scorpion…Matt Gargan has been in the movies. Just don’t fuck hike up like they did my boy Shocker! Ah that was so disappointing! lol! Anyway….yeah. All franchises are being rep’d in this upcoming No Way Home movie. So, I do believe your Spider-Verse with the two previous actors IS coming true, AND you were right about Sinister Six!).
I was pumped for a Gambit film, he was easily my favorite character next to Wolverine in the cartoon series. A bit of the Han Solo type in the group. Plus he's Cajun and formerly Omega Level.
I didn’t think much of Gambit originally than I read the Chris Claremont - Jim Lee run and now I fucking love him. He’s easily cooler than Wolverine, got an interesting power and has great relationship with Rogue.
Gambit can turn the potential energy of any object into kenetic energy. He uses playing cards because they are easy to charge and throw, and they wont level a city block when they explode. Gambit is actually a very powerful mutant (and a Cajun like me)
yea i remember an episode of the 1990's X-men cartoon, They were rebuilding the x-mansion after juggernaut destroyed it and gambit and wolverine were arguing, so gambit charged up a brick, and before it was about blow up cyclops blasted it away, ua-cam.com/video/H-YZdPUoAqc/v-deo.html
Especially if Deadpool 3 does what people expect to with -Disney- The Mojoverse forcing Deadpool to do a PG-13 version “for the children”. And at some point he’d find and team up with an impridoned Channing Tatum Gambit and Longshot to take down Mojo. After the movie is over their would be a mid-credits or end-credits scene where he signs a contract allowing him complete creative control and an R rating for his Deadpool and the X-Force movie.
I remember reading rumors for Thomas Jane's The Punisher sequel that Michael Keaton was going to play Jigsaw. What is concrete info for sure is that a Punisher 2 script was written by Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter and for some reason Lionsgate ditched it at the last minute.
I would still like to see a sequel with Thomas Jane. It can be when it’s been over a decade and he is already experienced fighting crime after the death of Howard Saint and his family. But Frank discovers new truths such as off screen his daughter was killed even though she wasn’t shown in the film. Frank would encountered an wheelchaired-bound Jigsaw (Michael Keaton). He was the real Jigsaw while John saint’s jigsaw was just a decoy. Bushwacker and Barracuda appear as well as well as Damage. We see Frank experience PTSD moments just like the 2005 video game.
He can't carry a film on his own. He needs another X-Character to support him. Like Rogue or something. But really, Gambit is MUCH better suited being part of an ensemble film though anyway. Being one of 5 or so main characters in an X-Men film. Actually, he might pull off a solo film but only AFTER appearing in at least ONE X-Men film where he is part of the ensemble. Cuz with X-Men you gotta pull a reverse Avengers. In that instead of doing a bunch of solo movies that lead into the big crossover team-up movie, you have to introduce everyone in one or two big ensemble team films and THEN send individual characters from that ensemble out on solo adventures. Basically. Introduce Gambit as part of the team just like in the 90s cartoon, then have him and Rogue go off on a solo adventure in order to develop their characters and build upon the relationship that would've been established in the X-Men movie. And do the same for others, but have their solo films maybe be origin stories or whatever. In fact...now I kinda wonder if X-Men doesn't work better as a franchise where you have the big X-Men ensemble film every few years...and then in between you have a TV/Streaming series that focuses more in depth on individual character stores and dynamics. Idk, I'm already starting to ramble so ill stop here cuz goddamn X-Men always gets me going off like this.
The Inhumans show was real bad but I still feel like there was some good stuff in it, like Black Bolt and Maximus had good actors for the roles and Karnak's power was shown in a really cool way Shame about almost everything else; as a big Karnak fan I really didn't need to see him fuck

@@GoddessOfWhim2003 On the one hand I agree that how it was executed fell flat but on the other I don't think one story doing the jealous brother archetypical storyline in a big big franchise with lots of different creators should preclude another one doing it, that's just a relatable framework to work within

While Gambit gets labeled as a card throwing guy with powers here, I'm pretty sure he only uses the cards to charge with his kinetic energy (his actual power, the energy) because they are portable and easy to carry around. I think that was established in the comics or the 90's cartoon. But he can charge other objects as well for those not in the know. Cheers.
They filmed The Incredible Hulk at my University in Toronto. We didn't know then, but Samnuel L Jackson's signature did appeared on the wall of a close-by sushi bar. I don't remember him in the film, why was he there?

I just found out yesterday about that Hulk movie, bit of a coincidence seeing it here now. They were going to use an animatronic puppet for that whole film lol There's a lot of concept art also showing the weird design for Hulks apperance.
Hulk 2008 is a standalone sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk. When you're watching the MCU film you're really intended to take the other movie as a lead-in. They never intended to go over the origin again.
theory: the gamma radiation that turns Bruce Banner into the hulk also drastically alters his face and voice every few years, all of the hulks are one in the same
I really wanted the Amazing Spider-Man sequel/spin-off because I'm honestly a really big fan of that version of spidey and especially Andrew Garfield's portrayal.
Fox also tried to make a Daredevil reboot but the license expired before they could make much progress. Marvel even offered Fox more time with Daredevil in exchange for giving them the Fantastic Four and the part of the cosmic side of Marvel Fox had the rights to, but Fox declined.
its kind of strange thinking about it. fox had spider-man, the x-men and the fantastic four. Which were all three properties more popular than the actual avengers. they could of had them on screen together against Norman Osborn, Dr. Doom and magento and they didnt which just baffles me.
It may crazy, but before he made a deal with Mr. Sinister, Gambit was on his way to being an omega level mutant (almost exactly like Doctor Manhattan) going by the name New Sun. So in reality his movie would be insane since he could literally charge up literally anything and anyone and explode it/them before he depowered himself 😂
I really like the idea that Fox had in 2011 of having a huge marvel crossover with the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and the X-Men. That would have been pretty cool
At like 2:15 when the hulk bust out of the water tank and squeals... I haven't laughed so hard in weeks. Thank-you so much for all ur videos I look forward to every one, and Ben's outstanding editing xx
Dude I watched this video and got on my Disney+ to see if you were right about having to really search for Inhumans and omg you were right it took long as hell to find it.😂 And also I was really excited for Gambit it would've been dope.
Gambit uses cards because he enjoys playing card games. He can keneticaly charge up anything and have them explode. In a no powere basketball ball game he kinda got bored and wanted to play a prank on Rouge so he charged up the ball. When she caught it it sent her flying through a wall of the X mansion.

Who else is here after Deadpool & Wolverine brought Gambit Tatum to life?
Me. I need this movie so bad.
For me it’s Gambit, I love the character in the comics so it would be dope to see him on screen
I personally would've loved a Thomas Jane Punisher sequel.
Me and a lot of people back then we're waiting for one
Absolutely loved that movie. Punisher is very underrated.
I would of loved a punisher war zone sequel
@@Davidsworldtravels no me the punisher movie sucked
and you impersonally?
I just found out yesterday about that Hulk movie, bit of a coincidence seeing it here now. They were going to use an animatronic puppet for that whole film lol There's a lot of concept art also showing the weird design for Hulks apperance.
Love Ang Lee’s Hulk Hulk.
Love TJ’s Punisher but;
Punisher:WARZONE is our greatest achievement so far. As a species.
bigevilworldwide1 I will pray for your soul my son, but I fear there is no hope for you.
🤣👍
It really is better then God awful Thomas Jane punisher
@bigevilworldwide1 what a load of shit you just sprouted warzone is probably the best punisher related thing that has come out
I can't get over how funny 2:15 is lmaoooo
This is just what I needed right now.
Christmas pud
Hulk 2008 is a standalone sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk. When you're watching the MCU film you're really intended to take the other movie as a lead-in. They never intended to go over the origin again.
theory: the gamma radiation that turns Bruce Banner into the hulk also drastically alters his face and voice every few years, all of the hulks are one in the same
So Gamma Radiation makes you a Time Lord?
@@davidhalstead402 if it can lead to hulk becoming galactus then i dont see why not
That would actually be a mind blowing and really interesting theory if true
I really wanted the Amazing Spider-Man sequel/spin-off because I'm honestly a really big fan of that version of spidey and especially Andrew Garfield's portrayal.
I didn't like the movies but I would have liked to see where they went.
6:47 aged well
they fuckin called it goddamn
Fox also tried to make a Daredevil reboot but the license expired before they could make much progress. Marvel even offered Fox more time with Daredevil in exchange for giving them the Fantastic Four and the part of the cosmic side of Marvel Fox had the rights to, but Fox declined.
RIP Ray Stevenson
Punisher might not have disguised himself as a nun but Venom definitely did. Actually I think you guys mentioned it in the pod once.
Ang Lee's Hulk is a underrated film
Soo true I loved the first one sucks the sequel was cancelled
its kind of strange thinking about it. fox had spider-man, the x-men and the fantastic four. Which were all three properties more popular than the actual avengers. they could of had them on screen together against Norman Osborn, Dr. Doom and magento and they didnt which just baffles me.
I wish Mel Gibson’s Maverick was in the MCU.
Just wanted a gambit movie. Huge fan of him in the cartoons 👌👌
He's my favorite X-Men. Which is why I'm grateful they never made a Gambit movie. Because I've seen the other X-Men movies. And, boy... not good.
How is the funniest UA-camr not a comedian. Love this channel
"the gamut of gambits" i'm in
Dude I watched this video and got on my Disney+ to see if you were right about having to really search for Inhumans and omg you were right it took long as hell to find it.😂
And also I was really excited for Gambit it would've been dope.
He said hulk 2 = hawk tuah
Those who know:💀
God I’m glad I wasn’t the only one
Had it on in the background and this snapped me back to reality
Hulk 2 would have been fun to see.
"You won't like me when I'm Ang Lee!" - Ang Lee on the Hulk sequel cancellation
Yeah! I always thought Hulk 2003 continued to the mcu one back when i was really young, cause it really did seem to connect
When this video started with daredevil 2, I had to drop a like
Gambit uses cards because he enjoys playing card games. He can keneticaly charge up anything and have them explode. In a no powere basketball ball game he kinda got bored and wanted to play a prank on Rouge so he charged up the ball. When she caught it it sent her flying through a wall of the X mansion.
And then they got married.
@@li-limandragon9287 Yeah, there one of the best couples.
The Hulk is my favorite character of all time. ang Lee's hulk, to this day, is the only movie I've ever walked out of in theatres.
@@jessejive117 to be fair I was with a pile of girls and we were in high school. But it's not a good movie. He punched a hulkdog in the balls.
I fell asleep during rogue one.. (twice). I still haven't made it through that movie. Star wars without Jedi? That's like watching lord of the rings but it's just men.
I wish we could’ve see that big crossover between all the Fox characters. Would’ve been cool to see the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Daredevil, Elektra, and Silver Surfer all in the same place back in like 2007 or whenever
