Thank you, Dr. Kappel ❤❤
I’ve been using her skincare line for five months now. Only product line that has helped control my melasma without the use of hydroquinone. Love you, Dr. Stef! Thank you for being on our side :)
Thank you for clarifying that it’s a waste of money to do thermage in less then one year from the previous one as my dr recommend me after 6 months but thanks to the informations you dr provide will prevent it for happening! Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for this information! Is there a way to search qualified MDs who are well versed in Thermage? I live in AZ and it’s daunting understanding who is actually proficient.
My favorite doctor!!!! Dr Kappel I would love to hear your thoughts. I visited a reputable dermatologist known for being more conservative in his approach . I asked him about my loss of firmness in my lower face and he told me that yes, he has the Thermage machine and the Ultherapy. He said the thermage machine is all paid for and he would love to use it more but the results from Ultherapy are just way better. Everyone is happier he said with that. What should I do???Please help me make the right decision 🥰😍🤩🙏❤
I heard you say the words "Fibroblast." This is what that plasma plasma pen is supposed to do. Then there is a different one, like EMS, which I watched the other day. Well done on your formulation. It is so original, and honestly, it must have been a labor of love!
I've had 3 rounds of morpheus8 at 27yrs old and honestly RF procedures scare me. The facial fat loss and crunchy collagen that it creates doesn't seem worth it for lifting the skin. Sucks cuz I'm not even 30yrs old yet 😮💨
This definitely can occur if the RF is too high in areas where we want to preserve the fat. Settings are higher for submental fat to help rid extra/excess fat we do not want. I'm sorry to learn this has happened to you. Was your treatment done in a clinic type setting or medi spa?

hi there, thanks for the info, can you please recommend someone in Naples Florida for Thermage or near me ..? I was one of the first patients who used this machine 20 years ago and it caused tracks or toughs in my skin. It healed but took a while. I was told the tip was much different back then much hotter so I was definitely a guinea pig back then .
Wait, did you say thermage under the eyes needed an occular shield? Is it a red flag that i was told that wasn't necessary because he wasn't going on top of the eye lid?
Curious who did your upper eye bleph? Was it an oculoplastics doctor or a plastic surgeon? What did you look for in their training? I am trying to find one!
Dr. Kappel, I have watched ALL of your videos on Thermange. You give great information, however, you don't state how many pulses somebody should get if they are treating the full face and neck. You have stated that it is best to receive 900 pulses for a concentrated area, but never the full face and neck. I am going to call your office and hopefully, I can get an answer. Thank you for all that you do!
How many areas can you do in one visit? Like if I wanted to make a little trip down to see you (I’m in the PacNW) for thermage, could I do a neck, jaw, midface, forehead (it’s really my upper eyelid I want lifted and lower eyelid hollow helped, my forehead is pretty smooth) and tummy treatment at one time? I know sometimes healing requirements mean you can’t treat as much at the same time because the body can’t really handle it.

I JUST had Thermage CPT done a couple of days ago (FLX isn't yet available in Canada), but it was an authentic machine and done by an experienced provider. My question is: Can I assume this worked even in areas where I felt no heat or pain at all? I felt a few spicey ares (under jawline, mid-cheek and a few jolts on eyelid), but other areas were completely painless, and the upper eyelid (underbrow) area only felt cool, never warm. Undereyes also NO heat sensation at all. Could this have been due to the eye numbing added prior to eye shield placement? I was naturally relieved at how little pain there was overall, and my skin looks normal now (zero swelling or additional redness), but I fear that perhaps it didn't do anything !?! The tech did say I was "doing well" and I was in the appropriate treatment temp range throughout. Your insights would be much appreciated. Thanks so much ... I LOVE your videos, btw. 🙂
Hi. Yes I can't find the FLX provider. Wondering where you are and if you recommend? A long-term provider here in Vancouver, BC said they have the second generation CPT and don't use numbing (I learned here that they shoudn't use numbing)
@@headab9027 I had the CPT with cooling tip, no vibration except in one area that was painful. The experience was fine, but it'll take 1-6 months before I see any result. My main Q for the dermatologist was whether the lack of pain (or perceived heat in some areas) meant the treatment was potentially ineffective? Guess time will tell. P.S. I had mine done in South Vancouver. Also no numbing, just one extra-strength Tylenol an hour before.
Do you have any knowledge about Neogen. My med spa MD recently invested in a Neogen device. I’d like more information before investing in this expensive procedure
Some areas were painful, at level 2.5 on my face and 1.5 on my neck. How low can you go down in level and still have the treatment be effective? Used a FLX Thermage bought directly from the manufacturer. No numbing was done.

Is this better than Ultherapy for tightening the neck and jaw line?
When you asked the provider questions how do you know if they're lying or not?
Dr please tell me about ultherapy? Is it a good treatment for skin tightening? Does it affect face fat pads?
I did have a thermage treatment a year ago, and I did have bad results! It destroyed my facial fat pads!!! I will never do it again.

How do you feel about Viora? I'm having trouble finding a provider that has Thermage in my area.
How does Pelleve differ from Thermage? Is it an inferior procedure for skin tightening?
The way shes talks like a nerd who loves her stuff makes her so more likeble 😊
Ha ha! It’s true I am a skin nerd. Not everyone enjoys my nerdy science talk but I love these topics and love to share with my viewers!
@DrStefaniKappel could you kindly recommend a Dr. with advanced Thermage knowledge in Oklahoma or Dallas, Texas area please? Thank you
@@DrStefaniKappelcan you recommend someone in Naples Florida for Thermage or near me ..? I was one of the first patients who used this machine 20 years ago and it caused tracks or toughs in my skin. It healed but took a while. I was took the tip was much different back then.
Is there a doctor you recommend around Austin TX? I am willing to travel some, an hour or two. ❤
Hi! I love to listen to you
But can’t watch you too much . I want to do all the procedures you do but can’t possibly afford it all!! So it’s too much of a tease 😩. You lookkk sooooo good!! I want to do software. Should I let them numb me . They said they want to use proknox. To not feel procedure? What do you think? Thx uuuuuuu
Could you have it over an area with a tattoo?
@@Beaners386 Thanks! Was it crazy expensive? Do you mind sharing the clinic name? I was talking to Arbutus Laser. Thanks!
@@Beaners386 Thanks! Wondering who the provider was.
Thank you, Dr Jacono scared me because he said these procedures cause scar tissue.
I have melasma that can be triggered by any heating device. I'm assuming I would not be a candidate??
what if you used IPL on the skin, can it give skin tightning / flawless skin texture?
Question, is there a different kind of Thermage? Since the place I go to wants me to get 3 treatments 1 month apart. Slightly confused
