Ez gel/PRF will ONLY work if done EXACTLY to protocol. There’s a lot of practitioners that aren’t spinning the blood correctly, at the right temperatures to get the most potent fibren ( stem cells, exosomes, etc). This is why people aren’t seeing a lot of results and then say it doesn’t work. I’ve done this three times, the results are subtle but I absolutely love it! This type of natural procedure is the wave of the future!

I had 2 EZ gel undereye treatments 4 weeks apart because that was the protocol and each looked amazing for about a week then faded. It cost way too much money for that! It was quite disappointing.
I have had the same done with similar initial experience, but then I noticed over coming weeks that new collagen seemed to start producing! It just took a little time
Big fan of EZ gel. I only did one treatment and canceled my second but not because I didn't want to do it. I was very pleased with the results! There is initial swelling and once it's gone you look similar but there is this brightness and glow that slowly improves the area over time. It is subtle. It has been almost a year and a half and I might have it done again soon. If it weren't as expensive I would do it once a month! My under eyes are still less pigmented than they were 10 years ago. They are quite dark due to genetics.
My undereyes are hollowing out and it almost makes me look like another person. I know its a privilege to grow older but it sure is hard to accept the changes. I use botox for in between my brows so that I don't look angry. I haven't done anything that's more targeted towards anti aging but every year that goes by, I am more and more tempted because I wake up and don't look how I feel. I'll be 44 in March. I can't imagine how disconnected I am going to feel from my appearance 5 years from now☹
Sunscreen daily, some type of retinol @pm , red light so worth investment really works ! Don’t be scared of aging , you can totally maintain or improve your appearance/beauty if you want 😊 I’m a decade older than you so I understand your concern but you’ll be OK or maybe even better if you work your actives 💕

I feel strongly that in the future I will. Its incredible how quickly the cascade happens after 40, even with taking measures such as you've mentioned. I hope it plateaus for a while so I can come to terms lol! At times, I feel that society makes it difficult to be an aging woman. Such is life, right? It works but very temporary. It doesn’t last a year. We so it where I work. You also have to do it more than once so expect to shell out around 2-3k for the initial treatments.

I personally started working in my 58 yr old face this January because my son was getting married in August and I have been Amazed at how quickly my skin has turned around. I do SO SUPER wish I would have found Dr Kappel sooner- I would have done some of the Laser treatments she recommends rather then doing the Morpheous 8 that I did. In addition to using retinol and sunscreen and tretinoin and excellent skin care products the first things I did was using an AHA/BHA exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week. Exfoliating is super super important 👍 I have not used the MDaire products yet because I’m finishing up the other products that I have. But that is the next product line I will be purchasing. I also hope to make a trip back to Southern California next year to go see Dr. Kappel for some Laser work. So be encouraged- you can turn it around but learning what you’re learning now and implementing everything she says …you’ll actually be able to stay ahead of the curve. And not play so much catch-up. Oh, one more bit of advice if I may, as you go into menopause and come out of menopause, please be sure that you go to somebody that will help you with hormone replacement or supplements. Somebody who’s knowledgeable and qualified. Post menopause is brutal on the face 😂. I’ve learned from Dr Kappel that Menopause is a Key contributor to why our faces age so quickly when we’re older. That and sun damage.😢
I’ve done EZ gel 3 times now and I love the results! I wish it was cheaper because the results are pretty slim. However, I had a little bag underneath each of my eyes that has gone away! I was shocked. The hollowness hasn’t really changed overall but I do think the skin looks thicker and less translucent. I’m only 24 years old, I just genetically have very deep set eyes.
This sounds wonderful! In the past I had PRP for for hair loss and my Derm would draw a little extra blood and do my under eyes. I liked the results while they lasted, but truthfully I would say 6 weeks was a max amount of time. I had fat transfer for my tear troughs and it didn’t take at all. With having a lower belph which did a beautiful job removing my bags. The fat transfer did nothing at all. What I wanted most was to not have the troughs.
I've had PRP/PRF and didn't get great results. I lived near a local provider and although she was excellent at her job, it seemed to work better when I was younger. I had PRP underage treatments early last year. 3 rounds and I still see the effects. However, I did not have much/if any significant volume loss. It was more to be stimulatory. Collagen production vs filling it in.

You might want to mention the great under-eye effects from getting Sculptra injections in the mid-face - I see great nice volume added. Although you avoid Sculptra in the temples, I go to an expert injector and it looks great!

I did ezygel at my office the young nurse injected 3-4 into my under eyes. I immediately looked like there were eggs under my eyes bi was swollen and bruised for weeks. One eye looked liked a “ shiner”. The bruising lasted 2 months. And I still have a staining I am hoping it will completely resolve
I inquired about this ez gel at my med spa and they said they’ve had mixed results. They were surprisingly candid and said it’s not a huge notice result, depends highly on the health/nutrition/hydration of the client, and needs multiple sessions a year to maintain. Those multiple visits turned me off.
I think it's just from the short-term swelling effect of the liquid/gel....it dissipates pretty quickly. We can see what Dr. Stefani thinks with her clients.
I had 3 PRP treatments. The results were good but lasted about 6 months,expensive treatment. tried it again for the under eye area only and had zero results. I would not recomment PRP, vampire facials.
I did have prp under the eyes. I do feel ai have had great results but I feel it will be dependent on what you are working with. My understanding is that eye wasnt “horrible” skin was thinner with the minimal bumps of some oil glands. I want to say that it has reduced the bumps. The hallowness under the eye does seem to be better. I do think its due to getting something done earlier Just my experience. I feel this procedure would be amazing!!!

How many viles of gel do you get from blood draw? Some providers say 2. Do you advise patients to drink a certain amount of water before hand. Read that helps getting more blood for more plasma
It varies. I have done it twice...the first time she got 8 vials. The second I only had 6. Probably depends on hydration. But good question...I'm not sure why.

It’s expensive and the kits cost like $175. Most places charge $750 and above. It doesn’t last. It last a little longer than prp/prf bc it more of a liquid base. Same product is used just spun at a different speed to form more of a gel. The gel last a little longer… Definitely not a year.
The PRF easy gel is designed to replace volume. The texture is completely different than the PRP or PRF. It is a great alternative for those who want a more natural look and or those who do not wish to put foreign things into their body. Hope that helps

No, basically that area is a no for a lot of injectables other than botox etc. I don't know the medical reason why but you can look it up quite quickly. It's not safe. I think she recommends thermage. I heard consistent botox use in the area can cause this...kind of like we aren't letting our own muscles work. So good to take breaks and space it out more. But I'm not a doctor, just things I have heard other doctors say...who say it much better than me.
They offer EZ gel in my area (Las Vegas) but its a med spa. I don't feel comfortable at med spas, I guess because the injectors are so new to their craft.
Sculptra is not used for under eyes. It’s usually used for temple, cheekbones or jawline. It hypothetically lasts at least 2 years (since patients in the study were only monitored up to 2 years). I had one vial of sculptra two months ago, and although the full effects are not noticeable yet (at least 3 months), l look more refreshed. Results are supposed to be more natural and subtle. We’ll see. I’m 36.
Okay so I've been scouring reddit to hear about peoples' experiences with this product and it sounds like a total scam. People report only having a couple weeks of real volume AT MOST and then is disappears, so no different than PRF treatment. I had PRP/PRF under my eyes in 4 sessions and had ZERO improvement. I felt taken advantage of with how expensive it was.
Me too, no results after 6 sessions, so much bruising in the process.

Hey Dr. Kappel, I just had my very first prf treatment for under eye hollows . It was very full for a few days and now it looks like it’s mostly gone and I have like a crease where my tear trough is. Question is , is this normal ?

No, basically that area is a no for a lot of injectables other than botox etc. I don't know the medical reason why but you can look it up quite quickly. It's not safe. I think she recommends thermage. I heard consistent botox use in the area can cause this...kind of like we aren't letting our own muscles work. So good to take breaks and space it out more. But I'm not a doctor, just things I have heard other doctors say...who say it much better than me.

What do you use to make EZ Gel? PRP, PPP or PRF?
I had EZ gel in my tear troughs twice 4 weeks apart but it didn’t last. Disappeared in a month.
It cost about 2500 usd per treatment.
I may as well just have lower blepharosplasty done then.
whoa....that's a lot. I had it done twice from top dermatologist in Southern CA and she charges that amount for 2 sessions.

They offer EZ gel in my area (Las Vegas) but its a med spa. I don't feel comfortable at med spas, I guess because the injectors are so new to their craft.

I had three sessions of PRP/PRF and the results lasted a week. A total waste of $1600.

Sculptra is not used for under eyes. It’s usually used for temple, cheekbones or jawline. It hypothetically lasts at least 2 years (since patients in the study were only monitored up to 2 years). I had one vial of sculptra two months ago, and although the full effects are not noticeable yet (at least 3 months), l look more refreshed. Results are supposed to be more natural and subtle. We’ll see. I’m 36.

Okay so I've been scouring reddit to hear about peoples' experiences with this product and it sounds like a total scam. People report only having a couple weeks of real volume AT MOST and then is disappears, so no different than PRF treatment. Plus, the guy who developed this product has always given me red flag vibes. Either you're a liar or you didn't even do real research or maybe both?? You lost a subscriber.
I just think invasive procedures should only be reserved for accident victim😬 So thank you for always educating and reporting on safer and more natural alternatives. 🫡 You are awesome! ❤️
