Colorado Spruce vs. Camp Chef Alpine Tent Stoves

The Colorado Cylinder Spruce Stove is a great stove. How does it compare to the Alpine by Camp Chef? It's very similar but has some unique differences. The Spruce has some quality advantages the first being the stove pipe. It fits together more nicely. I had to take plyers and taper the "already tapered" end on the Alpine. But the Alpine does come with two shelves instead of just one. The damper is also superior on the Alpine as it actually holds in place for me, unlike the Spruce. The Spruce does have more vents and a nicer log grate. Bottom line - both heat up the tent just fine and do a very good job. The Spruce is literally twice as expensive as the Alpine though so it may price itself out of people's budget when they are already forking over a decent amount of dough for a stove-ready tent.
