I'm not sure what's the problem here, because last time I checked, 65% is clearly above 50%, which means he's leaning towards Garp having advanced conquerors haki, or maybe that missing 35% is just simply because Oda didn't show a panel of people in the vicinity getting knocked out like Zoro vs King or Shanks vs Kidd, and a lot of people assume that Garp not making contact with the buildings was due to the use of ryou, however the conquerors haki lightning was present, so I think Garp most likely has advanced conquerors haki, it's just not 100% confirmed.

KOL finally coming around. Americans we treat the old as worthless. My pops was in military stationed in Okinawa Japan where he studied martial arts. He told me the most dangerous fighters were the masters which some was in their 60 to 80's. Of course they no longer able to do competition, but skilled enough to beat up 99% of any challengers. Japanese respect all that are older, so our perspective is different than their's. Chinese and Japanese respect their elders and most of their movies are the final boss.

I have a theory that York is actually Katarina Devon. The real York is on the BB ship, either working with them or they kidnapped her. Theres also a theory going around that Laffitte is Hatori, Luccis pidgeon. We know every BB pirates DF except for Laffiette. We know Laffiette has a DF that gives him big white bird wings so far. We know theres a BB ship outside of Egghead and we know Hatori disappeared when Stussy knocked out Lucci, so im on board with that theory. By the way I had Garp on this power level since he was introduced as an equal to Roger and Whitebeard years and years ago, it was CLEAR AS DAY (when I was reading Marineford something like 10 years ago I had him on par with Whitebeard but slightly higher because Garp was healthy and Whitebeard was sick and Garp did nothing during the war only because he didn't want to help the marines killing Ace). But people just won't believe anything without the FEATS, and i can understand that, but when portrayal is so evident there is just no excuse.
The same way it was clear what was Shanks' probable power level even before (and i think kol would agree) but people were shitting on him because he had no devil fruit while Kaido, Big Mom and company did.
We have more feats for Buggy than for Dragon but i have no doubt Dragon will be an absolute top tier, people need to understand how to interpret feats and portrayal.
And is funny how most of the time people just disregard portrayal because "you have no proof" when if you think about it most of the times the portrayal is more important and it makes you understand power levels far better, i always use mostly portrayal (also because many characters have few to no feats at all) and for the time being i have been almost always precisely spot on, even in understanding who will fight who and how the power level will grow.
I called Zoro and Sanji vs King and Queen when we didn't even know King and Queen existed and people were all saying that it was impossible for them to take on commanders, but if you understand power levels and how the only thing that made sense was that they fought them to demonstate to be on that same power level... it was obvious.
I'm not joking if you understand well how portrayals work you can even predict things and sometimes i am amazed that i am so much right in my predictions by only analyzing them.

@@talhanizami9415 yeah, actually in my mind Blackbeard needs to fight Garp to demonstate he is properly yonko caliber (because i think Garp is easily in the same tier with yonkos even in his old age), like a necessary step for Blackbeard before Shanks (that i think is slightly over normal yonkos, like a Gol D. Roger 2.0) because he still didn't fight anyone REALLY strong and going from fighting Marco to fighting probably the strongest character at the moment would be a bit much... I could accept it as offscreened power ups because he has 2 devil fruits and everything, but I think we would feel the lack of some growing on Blackbeard's part, so i think having Garp fight him is actually perfect (in fact i predicted that Balckbeard would need to fight someone this strong before Shanks because i understood Shanks and Blackbeard's relative portrayals).
Also because, even if he had a lot of help, Luffy took down Kaido.
Blackbeard needs a similar win because his portrayal pre timeskip wasn't definetly to be as strong as yonkos, we know he definetly became stronger but we don't know how much.
And we know his fruits are broken so we can assume he became A LOT stronger since pre timeskip, but still to see him at least on par with monsters like Kaido and Big Mom i think is fair that Oda gives us a strong FEAT. But to understand the FEAT that he is going to accomplish, you have to understand how strong Garp is.

(theory) If your will is strong enough (with strength and haki) you can achieve your dreams. Your will(future) can be SEEN with observation haki. The only way you can change someone else's will(future they desire), is if your will/haki is stronger than theirs.
Shanks observation haki is so powerful he can SEE your will/future. That's why he gave his arm for luffy. That's why he hasn't gone for the One piece. That's how he always shows up at the right place at the right time. That's why everyones(well...smart people/RIP KID) afraid to fight him.
Teach is Darkness(hid in whitebeards shadow) when he's in the dark he becomes darkness(other people have theorized this) and can do stuff(not sure what all exactly), hence his skull building only has 1 window, they had to cover him and whitebeard up at marineford. HOW'D TEACH GIVE THAT SCAR TO SHANKS? SHANKS COULDNT SEE HIM BECAUSE THE DUDE BECAME DARKNESS AND HE COULDNT PERCEIVE HIM. That's why skanks keeps getting updates on where he is.

Conquerors infusion is already doing internal damage the same way that advanced armament does it, just on a much bigger scale. thats why luffy had to learn ryou before he could apply that technique with his conquerors. He even mentioned that his hit was "too shallow" when he hit Kaido with ryou. the implication was that he needed Conquerors infusion to go deeper. Its not just an 'attack multiplier'.

It's just a theory anyway, Oda might not have these three 'repeat the cycle' exactly in the same way or we might get a small timeskip to a couple years in the future when Luffy and Colby are all full adults and maybe at that point, he and Colby will be equals/rivals. I just feel like Colby has to be important to the story in some way. He was the true first 'companion' that Luffy met on his journey. That has to mean something...I think/hope. Before Zoro and Nami, he inspired and moved the heart of Colby. Maybe when they meet and he sees how much further Luffy has gone, it will encourage him to catch up quicker or something.
