      Hey Cassy, I was wondering if you could do a video on under eye dark circles? Both kinds honestly, pigmentation and blood pooling, but specifically on how to reduce, control, or remove them. Particular treatments or products like eye creams with vitamin k and such would be so helpful! I know you have minorly spoken about them in a previous video, but that was a long time ago, so an updated video would be nice. Please and thank you!! ❤

    My first mask was a cheapo one like the one you said to toss. I began using it in mid Oct of 2023 and about 3 weeks later I was able to see my eyelids again. I am 64 now and I have since gone to panels that have both red and NIR but I still use the cheapo face mask because it works even if it isn't fast. it is the slow and easy that I like. I only use the R/NIR 5 days a week for 20 minutes total using 5m per side/front/back.

    • @danbecker5122

      It is now a month after posting the above post. I can now say that I have never been so happy using these cheapo masks 21.99, since Oct 17 2023 and the r/nir cheapo panel I got for 39.99 on Amazon I got in Feb 2024.
      Don't think these expensive units are the only way to go.
      I like using these cheapo ones bc you can let the process begin slowly bc your body must catch up to what is going on once you begin this.
      I believe this journey should begin slowly and don't rush this. 5 days of 20m and then rest for 2 days. It has been a miracle for me and I've been using this r/nir panel since Feb 10, 2024 and I did not overuse these bc you can ruin any chance of getting benefit if you do this for longer periods. Your cells can only take so much energy and you create too many free radicals by overdoing it and void the whole point.

      I'm no esthetician, but even though blue light can be great for acne, I did read a credible research study linking blue light therapy with treating/repigmenting areas of vitiligo, and that's actually why I didn't get the Omnilux Clear, I went with one that lets me choose which combination of lights I want.
      Although since then, they came out with the Omnilux Contour, and I'm not sure if that one has blue lights or lets you isolate them if they do. But since heat can also be a trigger for melasma, I keep my mask on the lowest power setting to avoid heat being trapped in there. Also considering a panel. But I'm curious about her insight on this as well!

      Blue can cause hyperpigmentation so id stear clear. Out of all red light mask omnilux has the highest power, the strongest lights and the best wavelength in comparison to all other masks on the market. It has better tech then any mask she mentioned in the video implying she's be sponsored by Dr Gross. She didn't even mention omnilux which is a known top contender.

    TheraFace Mask have 3x more LED lights than the leading LED mask competitors, but the preset treatments times are also optimized for maximum treatment efficacy in the shortest amount of time. 648 LEDs emit 3 types of light wavelengths (Red, Red+ Infrared and Blue) for an effective, full-face treatment. The TheraFace Mask also provides vibration therapy massage helping to relieve tension and improve relaxation. TheraFace Mask is clinically proven to improve: The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Firmness, facial contour, and sagging/loose skin, The appearance of skin tone evenness with visible dark spot lightening, Skin radiance, luminosity and the overall appearance of healthy skin, Skin texture and smoothness.
    U.S. FDA cleared LED skincare mask that delivers effective, full-face Red, Red + Infrared and Blue light with added tension-relieving vibration therapy. Clinical studies showed firmer, smoother, healthier-looking skin with a visible reduction in fine lines and dark spots in as little as 8 weeks.* Plus, Mask’s easy-to-use hands-free design comes with removable protective eye shields so you can multitask during your treatment. Absolutely fantastic 👌

    My biggest concern with the dermabeam pro is the eye protection. I know eye protection is super good for red light therapy, and this one is so nice being built in. However, it seems to take up a large amount of space on the face, covering places where wrinkles might be coming in, such as the crows-feet areas, or under-eye wrinkles. Is this a issue with this eye protection, or is the red light still able to penetrate those areas? I would hate to invest only to have the eye protection, something meant for good, create a ineffective product, especially at this high price point. What are your thoughts? Thank you!

    Cassandra, I love your energy and enthusiasm, and I always enjoy your videos. To add to a slightly different angle, I think there is a variety of different responses in individuals. From my personal experience with the Omnilux face mask: I think either the product was damaged, or it was way too potent for me. Just after about 2 weeks of use use (as recommended!!! not more frequently!!!) it gave me melasma; the dark spots on my skin were where the lights on the mask were placed... It stimulated growth of lanugo hair on my cheeks!!! I attempted using it on my head, and it did stimulate a very robust hair growth. Long story short, I am not using this mask anymore, just don't think it's a safe choice for me. Will stick with something that has more, like decades more, research-backed information, such as tretinoin, hydroquinone, vitamin c, etc. I know, it's boring, but better safe than sorry.

      iRestore is not the best helmet for hair growth tho. It is laser + LED and the LED will have minimal effect on hair growth/alopecia. It’s also 655nm and the most effective wave length according to clinical trials is 633nm. Which is another reason why it should only have lasers, as the laser will have highly coherent photons all within a fraction of a nm of the target wavelength, vs LEDs which will have a bit more wavelength variation inherently

    • @texasdavid9764
      @texasdavid9764 8 місяців тому

      @@sammaxxinggthe iRestore Elite does do 680 nm wavelength laser and that is peak effect but there is a range above and below that are beneficial. It’s not as though you have to hit 680 nm to have any effect. Look at the graphed curves to see the full effective ranges, not just peak effect. The other iRestore devices will have beneficial effects without having the 680 nm wavelength.

    I read a research study that linked blue light therapy with treating/repigmenting areas of vitiligo- so if blue light can repigment skin, I'd be concerned about it increasing pigmentation in general. That's the only reason I bought a mask that doesn't integrate blue light with the red light- it lets me isolate which lights I want to use.
    I've also read that heat is a common trigger for melasma, so keeping the mask on a lower power setting to avoid too much heat being trapped in there has helped, although I'm considering a panel as well.
