    Thanks for showing us how to change the tempo of a loop, and yes it would be great if you could have a video RE how to "repurpose" loops because I really like them and enjoy getting creative, but need a little guidance in that area! Excellent as always...many rewards in heaven for you Kris!!!

    Awesome tips, Kris. I have to take care of some financial and medical issues that have been dogging me for a while for the next few days, but then I’m gonna sit down and start working through the modules. I think I’ll be able to finally create the music I’ve been hearing in my head my entire life. Thank you so much Kris!

    Thanks Kris! Sweet video. I'm looking forward to experimenting with this. I'd love to see how you repurpose splice sounds into productions or yours that you would then be comfortable releasing.

    Kris,
    Thank you for this tutorial. I would really like to see a followup video where you show different ways to re-purpose the Splice sounds in order to make them more personal.

      Drag them into sampler and it will auto chop . Then you can play it how you want. It’s so easy

    I just right click on the sample, and under tempo, change region to project tempo. It automatically shrinks or stretches it.

    Splice seems cool, but how do you use it through out a track when there are a lot of chord changes??

    • @ProduceLikeaBoss
      @ProduceLikeaBoss  3 роки тому

      You can transpose them, and chop them up into smaller phrases that you can bend to your chords. Using melodic samples in harmonically complex music is more work, but it can be done. Typically pop music uses a simpler harmonic language that isn't too crazy to make work.

    Can you change the key of the piano melody? Or would you have to use a Serato sampler to do that?

    how do u edit tracks on here like say the samples tail doesn't line up with the end of the next bar like the loop end but the grid is still going but blank idk if I'm making sense
