Hey friends! Thanks for watching my video! I apologize for the weird "flange" sound on my vocal. This video is older and I was still learning how to use screen flow at the time. People still got value out of the training so I left it up. Got another video on Arcade coming soon. 😁🙏
you're the first person to directly answer my question and tell me this is not a keyboard/piano like instrument library. Thank you for that because I've been pulling my hair trying to make it play chords and notes.
@@mojoiam I just watched a video where the guy duplicates the track, chops the midi note, and changes the key on "output" that way the bass changes notes.
Must admit I was reluctant to look at another Arcade video. Already I feel like you’ve opened up the understanding of this instrument in a major way. It’s starting to make sense now! Thank you for your help! Great video! Awesome teacher!
Been paying for this for over 2 years....just couldn't get used to it. Your tutorial really made things clear. It's not a keyboard and I can't drag full midi loops......it's really just a really nice sampler you trigger. Thanks for clearing that up, pretty sure I'm going to use it more from now on...
"Instead of Hihats"....I really like that one. I use the loops on that feed a lot. It gives me more options and ideas than the typical note-repeat patterns I make with hihats..
Great Video, you sold it to me, I loved the way you consolidated the sample or bounce as some would say, you made it look so easy, and save the midi till you are sure you have your song. Made things so easy. Many thanks.
Arcade is all that, and a bag of chips ahoy's. I love it!!! Get your sound, tweak and manipulate, and Boom....you got a track. Keep up the good work Boss!!!
Thanks Chris, I enjoyed it a whole lot. I have just bought Scaler, now I'm going to have to think about Arcade - It seems to be a better option to some others. Thanks Jules
You deserve 2 thumbs up !!!your content is good but what I appreciated the most was the TIP to change storage location before starting, that's the kind of help I need! Thank you

Thank you for the information and video run through on arcade. This makes the app very simple to use and the demonstration in logic was a great visual to see how it is done. I appreciate these videos and look forward to o=your next.
Good job Chris! I literally was looking for tutorials for Arcade and stumbled upon this and this was the most informative video I found. Thank you for this! The beat turned out pretty dope too!
Dayum, Kris, you are SO good. I am trying to fast track my learning, and I'm doing a scoring mentorship but my engineering skills are way behind. Have some workshops and assignments and am getting totally stuck, started with one, then two then another idea and don't have soundproofing or proper studio setup and need to do real vox and acoustic guitar - don't know how to fade, drop volume then put it back up. ?! Now, suddenly my vocal track is registering super low. So frustrated, don't know how to use VSTs, or even colour the tracks/markers. But downloading Native Instruments and appreciate all your it-looks-so-easy tutorials. Wish me luck.

You can try automating those parameters in the automation window! Select the plugin, then the parameter you want to automate, then change the mode from Read to Touch and it will record those movements as you perform :)
How do I record the arcade sounds in FL Studio? The keys won't play on my keyboard, but they will if I click on the notes on the piano roll, but even when I do that it still doesn't record anything
Great Vid!! So informative....I was having a rough go at getting loops to line up with one another and to snap to grid in logic. You make it look easy. I feel better now. Thx:) I wonder if setting arcade to quantize (you had it turned off in ellipsis menu near top of vid) would allow things to fit together better without having to quantize after every instrument you add within logic pro. Off to practice!

Great question! Arcade basically take samples and rearranges them into new melodies for you automatically, but you have some control over them. Once you bring it into your project, you can mess around with it however you like! But in the traditional sense, it's not like you play a note on your keyboard and it will play that note in that sound, and then stop. So you can definitely create your own melodies, it just looks a little different! :)

The white keys trigger the samples, and the black keys modify how they are played back.
