There was once gonna be a special tag if you wear the armor, all factions are hostile to you, I am gonna assume they havent forgotten about the enclave but its been so long they are not talking about it, so I am gonna assume because of the legion and NCR, their sizable presence are the reason the enclave have not sprung back up, while the BOS in the west coast lost their ways and methods because of whoever was in charge and judging to be an old man and the enclave stuff is still in good condition, I am gonna assume whats his name was around since the enclave and felt intimidating by NCR rebuilding.

if the game crashes from the launcher, look for the community post that tells you to manually set Fallout 3 and the launcher's graphics card and for high performance. The steam edition is known to be incredibly unstable out of box, for windows 10
As I understand it, the Mr. House NPC in the empty penthouse of Lucky 38 was a mechanical loophole, because the game engine did not allow dialogue to be "attached" to a non-NPC object. Thus the voice of Mr. House was attached to the placeholder NPC, but programmed to sound as if coming from the image on the computer (that you normally talk to).
The Sole Survivor being a synth isn't really a 'fact,' though. It throws more questions up and causes more clerical errors than it does answer questions. It's definitely a last-minute 'but what if?!' thing thrown in.
Sometimes people use ambiguity lazily to justify a shallow narrative. Pisses me off when a Fandom digs deeper than the creator's ever did. I feel like it can be applied to fallout 4 because in the far Harbour DLC the tentacle head robot(yeah I call him that) questions if you're a synth but there's no true definitve answer. Makes some players just go "oh shiii bruh you blowing my mind" Just using old tropes/identity crisis in a broad way. It's not a new/original in-depth concept. Crappy psychological thrillers from Hollywood do the same formula I don't even want to get into how the beginning is a tutorial and showing you the game mechanics
@@savageshot3723 The worst part about tentacle hea-I mean Dima saying the 'But what if YOU'RE a synth?' is that it's a total strawman. It has NO context until the fans add in any small, random detail. It's like saying "What if your whole life was a lie?" It's a weak, semi-unintentional gaslighting method. People that buy into it become 100% convinced because it just becomes confirmation bias, and people who don't believe it hate the idea entirely. When, in reality, as you said. Tutorials. Game mechanics. More of the story adds up to you NOT being a synth, but ONE. SINGLE LINE. ruins all that logic and lore set up for numerous people who just don't seem to realize it's a shitty throwaway line used to throw you for a loop.
I always liked to think that Nate was able to use V.A.T.S without a pip boy because he was a soldier before the bombing Obviously not an explanation for Nora though, so yeah, I think Bethesda just forgot to patch it out during the tutorial
@@justsomenumpty Well, it's less that bethesda forgot to patch it out, and more that they likely didn't care. It's possible to do shit like use the pipboy through various bugs in fo4, fo3, NV, etc. Those games just don't have the attempted bullshit of trying to pull the rug with a 'what if' situation. But I agree with it just being an unremoved feature.
@@justsomenumpty There is evidence in the games files that Nora was also supposed to be a veteran, but then they locked out the option. There are mods that remove the lock and Nora can say the same things as Nate in regards to veteran dialogue. I like to think she was a soldier, maybe an officer or Military Police with her law degree, then left after she became pregnant. It's not really specified when Nate left the army, but I imagine it was definitely before Shaun was born, given that the photograph he's looking at in the intro is just of Nora, and not of Nora and Shaun. I theorise it may have been the same time period as when Nora got pregnant, but this is just in my head as there isn't really anything to say whether I'm right or not. I mean, I have my own head canon that I consider to be one of many theoretical universes. That's why I consider every playthrough to be canon in some universe. My head canon is that Nate was a US Army General who's daughter moved in with him after the father of her baby ran out on her, so General Nathaniel "Nate" Clarke spends the game looking for his grandson, and rebuilding the Minutemen National Guard, rather than some weird colonial bullshit that we got.
I learned that some of friends that played Fallout 4 didn't know you could get Strong some armor that was hidden around the wasteland in super mutant strongholds. You could get him a heavy chest piece, waist thing and a helmet if I'm recalling right.
i always knew the “Eat the Baby” was a mod, I believe it’s said in the original video uploaded that features it. I always thought it actually should’ve been a real option, i mean shit i’d eat a baby if it means i’ll never get irradiated hahaha
Oh boy, not this again lmao. I played fallout 3 when I was a kid on console and I remember my sister telling me about the baby because she used make a lot of baby eating jokes lmao. She told me and that it would make you immune, I went and ate the baby. It's not a mod for the love of god.
The Mr.House generic npc, (I think) is probably like the situation from fallout 3 where they attach the model into the npc itself or something like that.
I kill Vulpes and his band everytime, you can loot the near daily assassin squads that come after you for pretty decent caps in the early game. Also you can just get the pardon from the guy who replaces him as a messenger fairly easily and they stop coming after you if it gets too annoying
Same as fuck, plus it can get boring when you can't run and have to cross large areas with no enemies. Maybe they will come and fight you, maybe they won't, but just know they could lakes it more exciting.
Bawls Energy drink was a REAL thing back in the mid-2000's. I loved it, but it was very uncommon in my area. I think that I still have a few of the empty bottles.
I don't know if this one has ever been mentioned, but at the end of fallout 3's main story if the player chooses to activate the purifier when you are laying on the ground, pressing "A" on xbox will have the player cough and choke. I believe it also happens on mothership zeta, when the player is on the table. You can hear straps being rustled as you try to escape.
Another possible name that I thought of in my head for a town could have been Autio, using the same rules as Arefu. A sign reading Caution could have lost the first and last letters. Also "Autio" is the finnish word for desert or wasteland
My favorite fun fact in new vegas is this: In the northern train tunnel of the Big MT, there is a locker room right near the door, where a part of a quest takes place. Inside the locker is a completely pitch black skull. I think it's unique.
Regarding voice actors, in Fallout New Vegas, many NPCs, including Private Kowalski, are voiced by Liam O'Brien who also voiced Allen in Fallout 4's Far Harbour DLC
When firing the test cannons in Old World Blues the impact zone is actually then damaged revealing a unique set of armour. Its the Ghost Armour from Dead Money and its the only way to get a hold of the armour without spawning it in. One of the perks of this armour is that it gives you 'Ghost Sight' which is not unlike the sneak sight that you get from the Ranger armour in Lonesome Road, with the key difference being that Ghost Sight is tinted green, like the colouring of the Ghost People's eyes ~Loki
Actually the irradiated area the suit is in is separate from boom town where the test cannons fire at, and what they really reveal is a helmet like the one the giant cazadore drops, and the recipe for a skill book
My favorite of those Fallout, worn out sign city names is definitely Ronto. You never see the sign leading to Canada mentioned in The Pitt DLC but, I can only imagine it's damaged in some way that either removed the TO of Toronto, or, made it look like it says To Ronto instead
fun fact for fallout 4, when you first enter the vault, no other vault dweller is wearing a pipboy except for the doctor that you first meet and years later you take his pipboy.

At the Deathclaw Promontory, the NPC that spawns with the Remnants Power Armor has the same model as President Kimball. Unfortunately, eating him (Cannibal) doesn't count for the Meat of Champions perk
Do you think that if the Master knew about the mysterious serum that he would use it on captured humans, that way they would be purged of having radiation (I can't remember I'd it was the radiation or the fev that made his plan fail) in them so that he could dip them into the fev and have his perfect soldiers.
I actually visited Benny's secret escape tunnel on my very first playthrough! I never saw it again and even thought it was just a dream when I went to the lift door and found it locked in every other playthrough
I remember being tired of those kids and the rat running around all the time. The shock I felt when I watched that little boy just start ripping into the damn thing...
18:45 I stumbled apon that quest during a playthrough trying to feed the gambling addiction of my Charater. It was the quest that installed my hatred for the ncr those fleabags wouldn't even risk life and limb to recuse a fallen brother
hmm there is much more to do with Preston and he has more lines, for instance if you are a Raider, BoS or institute, there is another set of lines... Also you need to safe them before you can get Currie, but if you hate this group as I did,but want Currie, you can save them and leave them in the lobby, this allows you to get over your maximum of people you can put in the starter town :D
I dont know if it's just me or if its a subitle detail but I remember Christina Morales was holding her sidearm while she sits there, which isn't part of the normal sitting animation.
25:13 - Arefu is linked to the vampire quest in Fallout 3. Arefu is also the name of a village in Romania that houses the ruins of Poenari Citadel, a home of Vlad the Impaler (aka Dracula). Contrary to popular belief, the Bran castle isn't linked to Vlad. Instead he had the Poenari Citadel restored by enslaving his enemies amongst the Wallachian nobility and work ing them to death.
Love how in your videos you have the original fo1 and fo2 music playing in the background, even when you talk about the newer fallouts, makes it all so great :'3

in the tunnel benny uses to escape you can find vault 21 lockers. this might suggest that he got access to some parts of the vault mr house filled with concrete. there are also explosives left everywhere and some goons
In Wolfenstein The New Order, at the rebel base while in the hangar. If you look at either end you'll find a large vault door that looks identical to one from the fallout out series, on top of that you'll see the numbers 101.
47:47 this might be a reference to the jurassic park film (cant remember which) where the protaginist or some other character is holding a lever action rifle, which ironically is the only rifle (i think) rated to hunt dinosaurs lol.
If I had access to Cabot serum, I would use it on animal companions(pets). Imagine Rex(I know he's not canon) or any version of Dogmeat being quasi-immortal.
according to the global achievement stats on steam less than 4 percent of players have completed the game with the legion, I know they are objectively the morally worst but their lore is so good. Obsidian did such a great job making compelling, well written villains.
I completed it on my 3rd playthrough (first Mr. House, then NCR, then Legion, then Yes Man). It was particularly interesting (worrisome) being a female character aligned with the Legion.
@@LadyDoomsinger I mean I guess. I got every achievement besides the two caravan ones. I’m just surprised because I thought people liked the evil asshole factions. There's unique dialogue and will be instantly villified by the powder gangers if you kill the powder ganger in the bar, also if you leave goodsprings after starting the questline to defend it and stay away long enough there's unique radio reports
I found something out recently, but in fallout 4 you can revive companions in combat with a stimpack. That’s obvious, but if you place stimpacks into their inventory, they can revive themselves.
There's a cheeky xp glitch in Fallout new vegas where talking to Jason Cobb and accepting killing Ringo and siding with the Powder Gangers. You then kill Jason and the rest of is gang ultimately finishing the tutorial quest from Good spring. After that you can go to Chet where you can blackmail him that the Powder Gangers will threaten the town if he didn't give some supplies. He will then give you 9mm bullets and some Leather armor and a +33 xp. That's where the glitch happens you can repeat the whole dialogue and gain xp. You can then sell the leather armor Chett gave you for bonus 2k caps to start the game. And yes, the glitch is forever stuck and you can do any time. Fallout is kinda hard as a beginner so having that extra xp for speech or barter can help you.
Fun Little Detail for Fallout 4 + Spoilers: So when you bomb/end the institute on your radio menu in your pip-boy the classical music station will disappear This is because this classical radio was the frequency that allows you to enter the Institute a small detail but given a whole lot more meaning and I find it cool
Added Fun Fact @ 9:24 if you get the Fusion Coil from the molerat den under Red Rocket you can get the powerarmor by rather than going through the front door, climb to the roof of the church, and jump onto the tail of the crashed Vertibird to immediately get the powerarmor and minigun, then go inside through the roof access door. You still get the same dialogue, plus it was much easier to clear out the area from above than from below. the doors to preston will automatically open if you manage to kill all raiders from above. otherwise you can jump down and hunt them all down.
Another fun fact I found out recently after revisiting FO3 was that in the museum of technology, in the room with the Delta IX Rocket, you can jump on one of the wings and get to a secluded corner alcove where there's a chair, skeleton laying on the ground, and some loot. Unimportant but I never noticed it before and it is out of the way so I thought it was interesting
This makes me want to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas again. I've played Fallout 4 for hundred's of real time hours and not just in game hours. So thank you, I am certainly going to replay those other titles. I'm currently level 11 on my first ever Skyrim playthrough. I tried Skyrim once but I hated having to kill the first Dragon.
@@YouViolatedTheNAP they're not hostile to you if you wear Enclave armor, but after finishing the final BoS quest (whether it's Eyesight to the Blind or Tend to your Business) when you're offered Power Armor training you can say you already know how to use it, and indeed McNamara/Hardin will be suspicious of it, but won't say anything else
@@Alex-mq6qi to that I say they missed an opportunity to have a "I learned from the NCR" option because the NCR has Power Armor soldiers.

Right on! You are gonna have a blast!
Smart man
if the game crashes from the launcher, look for the community post that tells you to manually set Fallout 3 and the launcher's graphics card and for high performance.
The steam edition is known to be incredibly unstable out of box, for windows 10
It's gonna crash on you
@@EthanDyTioco bethesda just recently updated fallout 3 to work better with windows 10
Makes some players just go "oh shiii bruh you blowing my mind"
Just using old tropes/identity crisis in a broad way. It's not a new/original in-depth concept. Crappy psychological thrillers from Hollywood do the same formula
I don't even want to get into how the beginning is a tutorial and showing you the game mechanics
I always liked to think that Nate was able to use V.A.T.S without a pip boy because he was a soldier before the bombing
Obviously not an explanation for Nora though, so yeah, I think Bethesda just forgot to patch it out during the tutorial

The 1st Fact is literally just the overseer getting caught lacking.
Plus, since you can loot a ripper from Vulpes' body you can easily deal with Legion assassins even at lower levels

When kill vulpes and then his replacement meets you kill him

Bawls Energy drink was a REAL thing back in the mid-2000's. I loved it, but it was very uncommon in my area.
I think that I still have a few of the empty bottles.
You can still find them every now and then. They are awesome
That’s super cool! It also happens at the start of the game, while you’re being born you can press A to cry
The Morales one is very heart wrenching.
23:58 when you fire them it actually uncovers some loot in the newly made craters

The dream killer route for the wasteland survival guide. Do it every time.
Amata's trigger finger would have made her an OP companion ngl. And Somehow ONCE I got her to follow me outside the vault
Also, if you shoot the war memorial in Kowalski's presence, he'll turn hostile and attack you.
Better: the camera is coded as a ranged weapon. He’ll get testy if you photograph it from sniper range
Might be because his brother was a little bitch and he is, too.
That guy that ran up to rotface and popped him just for his hat is me if I seen it
Regarding voice actors, in Fallout New Vegas, many NPCs, including Private Kowalski, are voiced by Liam O'Brien who also voiced Allen in Fallout 4's Far Harbour DLC
When firing the test cannons in Old World Blues the impact zone is actually then damaged revealing a unique set of armour. Its the Ghost Armour from Dead Money and its the only way to get a hold of the armour without spawning it in.
One of the perks of this armour is that it gives you 'Ghost Sight' which is not unlike the sneak sight that you get from the Ranger armour in Lonesome Road, with the key difference being that Ghost Sight is tinted green, like the colouring of the Ghost People's eyes
~Loki
Thats the hazmat suit, you get it at a different location close to the think tank
You can sort of sequence break in fo4 buy parkouring from the church next to the museum of freedom onto the vertibird to the power armor and minigun.
fun fact for fallout 4, when you first enter the vault, no other vault dweller is wearing a pipboy except for the doctor that you first meet and years later you take his pipboy.

Seriously biggest mystery. Why is it there
14:16 That baby deathclaw just froze in terror of what it had witnessed.
At the Deathclaw Promontory, the NPC that spawns with the Remnants Power Armor has the same model as President Kimball. Unfortunately, eating him (Cannibal) doesn't count for the Meat of Champions perk
About clever naming, in Fallout 4 Far Harbour was originally called Bar Harbour, you can find a billboard where the B disappeared.
Do you think that if the Master knew about the mysterious serum that he would use it on captured humans, that way they would be purged of having radiation (I can't remember I'd it was the radiation or the fev that made his plan fail) in them so that he could dip them into the fev and have his perfect soldiers.
It was the FEV that made them sterile. Radiation made them stoopid
Oh gods, I can't believe the Driver Nelphi meme at the end actually caught me off guard. haha

I remember being tired of those kids and the rat running around all the time. The shock I felt when I watched that little boy just start ripping into the damn thing...
2:06 amata is so powerful she's doing a dance before she loses karma
8:51 I wish there was a way that you could give them a certain number of dynamite, so that they can clear the Deathclaws out of Quarry Junction.

There's a couple time sensitive quests In fallout 4 where if you show up too late the person you were supposed to help will already be dead
Woah really?? Do you have any examples?
I dont know if it's just me or if its a subitle detail but I remember Christina Morales was holding her sidearm while she sits there, which isn't part of the normal sitting animation.
3:17 And this is why people love Far Harbor! Nice touches just elevate a game
I remember grabbing eulogy jones hat in fallout 3 by his projector.

47:47 this might be a reference to the jurassic park film (cant remember which) where the protaginist or some other character is holding a lever action rifle, which ironically is the only rifle (i think) rated to hunt dinosaurs lol.
It unfortunately isnt a reference to it because Jurassic World (which had the rifle) came out in 2015 while Point Lookout came out in 2009

according to the global achievement stats on steam less than 4 percent of players have completed the game with the legion, I know they are objectively the morally worst but their lore is so good. Obsidian did such a great job making compelling, well written villains.
Started a new NV playthrough just to finally get the Legion playthrough achievements
I completed it on my 3rd playthrough (first Mr. House, then NCR, then Legion, then Yes Man).
It was particularly interesting (worrisome) being a female character aligned with the Legion.

There's unique dialogue and will be instantly villified by the powder gangers if you kill the powder ganger in the bar, also if you leave goodsprings after starting the questline to defend it and stay away long enough there's unique radio reports
I like how they renamed Sacramento to "Sac-Town"
I found something out recently, but in fallout 4 you can revive companions in combat with a stimpack. That’s obvious, but if you place stimpacks into their inventory, they can revive themselves.
Saddest quests in the game? Boone would like to have a word.
