Im very happy to actually see a youtuber who sees a reused asset and goes "I dont think this was suppose to be an easter egg" instead of the "LOOK LOOK. Its all connected!!"
more than half items in NV are Fallout 3 reuse asset. If you search for vault suit in console command, they got Vault 101, Vault 108, Vault 106, and other Fallout 3 vault suits there. Never could be spawned but lying dormant in the database.
I like that the devs added the Freeside Thug recognizing you and running away. It's an obvious reference to the fact that you can walk around in full power armor with a minigun and Raiders with pool cues will think they can take you.
If you have a 1/10 intelligence character, you will also get another unique dialogue at the repconn HQ on the 3rd floor, there are several ways of gaining 3rd floor access, however when you get confronted by the facial recognizer robot, you can use the low intelligence check and say "ICE CREAM!" and gain access
It's still insane to me that so, so, _so much_ content was packed into this game in just _18 months._ It goes to show that, in the right hands, reused assets and shared engines can allow a game to grow far beyond its predecessor in little to no time (take Majora's Mask for example, which only had roughly 14 months for a development cycle). I hope that one day, despite the odds, we might get at least one more Fallout game by Obsidian.
@@ghostyboi6565yup they only had 18 months and yet still made a better Fallout game then Bethesda did. The man even rigged the reviews (supposedly) because he didn’t wanna pay out the bonus the dev team would have gotten if the game got a metacritic of 85 (spoiler!: it received an 84!)
My personal favourite thing from New Vegas is where you go to the goodsprings graveyard where you were shot and you crank up your volume, you can hear whispering coming from different graves, I even heard 3 muffled and quiet thuds once, it creeps me out so much and ever since I discovered it, I always take the time when I play the game to go over and just listen to it all. So creepy.
@@gothic2fanHUN nah this is legit , I oddly enough found this out by playing the game one time with the volume on max for a while. Me and my buddy thought it was funny because the TV would crackle every time I shot a gun and when people screamed.
Could you upload the live stream play throughs of the fallout games you’ve done? Watching you play through is much more entertaining than others not to mention because of your extensive knowledge about the games
This has happened to me twice, when killing the freeside rat, one of the children chasing it doesn't stop moving forward when kneeling down to eat it. This leads to a sweet power slide while chowin down on some raw rat meat. It's the most metal thing I've ever seen and one of my favorite game bugs I've seen. Anybody else seen this?
Happened to me literally yesterday, two of them powerslid after I antimatted that rat all the way from the Freeside gate. They slid right into the wall at about waist height, chowing on a rat 15 feet away.
It’s not PTSD, it’s a psychotic break. Nightkin are hardwired to be stealthy, quiet, and aware of potential threats. A bombing range, with explosions loudly going off in all directions, is a stark contrast to the environment they are meant to be in. Lily’s instincts are telling her that she’s in extreme danger, and she should become enraged, unleashing her mutated strength, speed, and ruthlessness. That’s why she does the counting exercise, to prevent “Leo” from taking over with murderous insanity. She’ll enter this state if at low health in combat too, and her “quest” basically allow you to change her potential rage state.
@@BLK_MNi think she's a pre war citizen (or anything like that im not that into lore too much) she probably heard or remembered how horrifying it is when the nuke blasted the mojave.
@@BLK_MNIt's most likely both. PTSD is causing her to be in a state of extreme distress when she sees the bombed out town, both because of her history with artillery/nuclear bombings and due to her time as a soldier of the Master forced to destroy innocent towns. She is likely having horrific flashbacks that are setting her towards a psychotic break so she desperately begins employing the PTSD management tactics they teach you in therapy (counting, deep breaths, and when all else fails, medications). Basically I'd say it's both, a PTSD episode aggravating her mental state enough to bring her near to a psychotic break event.
@@wrench982 yes east of brooks tumbleweed ranch (up in the northwest part of the map) you can find a mercenary camp which is replaced with aliens and the unique alien blaster with wild wastelands you can get the best of both by letting the cell reset before grabbing wild wastelands in OWB the YCS/186 uses one less ammo than the standard gauss rifle per shot is (unfortunately) heavier by a single point more accurate (the wiki says its only slightly more accurate but ive found myself hitting a lot more shots than i expect vs the standard gauss rifle) and has 20 more hp than a standard gauss rifle
Shooting the mantis ootheca and having the tiny mantises come out is fun, but there's more to it. Shooting an empty ootheca will yield no mantises. If you open it and insert a mantis egg (which can be acquired from dead mantises) and then shoot it, they WILL actually spawn.
59:12 I always ran the Rebreather given to you by Loyal during the Lady of the Lake quest, I think it took up your "optics" slot rather than "headgear" and it never lost condition so it was pretty good, but I had some awesome underwater adventures during my playthroughs. Not sure if I ever found this secret though!
I once got inside an abandoned train stop and there was a toy car on top of a shelf. I picked it up with Z and it prompted the "Good! Now push Z to let go of the skull" 💀💀💀 I freaked out
I wonder if that's a leftover prompt from the fallout 3 tutorial where you grab toys in your crib in the tutorial part as a baby. They may have just changed the text of the grab prompt but still left the trigger on that car

The fact that videos like this exists shows the absolute infinite replay-ability for new vegas. Not only can you customize your character to interact with the world differently in every play through. The world has this randomly generated feeling to it with all these encounters and random facts. I love fallout new vegas
My most recent ex girlfriend is not a gamer....at all. She likes to watch people play video games if she finds the game interesting or entertaining. I had to give some context for what I say next to really make sense. About a month or so into our relationship we were jokingly insulting each other when I told her she had Grandma Tiddies. Unable to think of a witty comeback on the spot on account of that playful insult stinging a bit all she could muster was a "Get Fucked¡!¡!" Up to that point she hadn't seen me play Fallout: New Vegas. I laughed a bit and asked her if she had heard that watching someone playing New Vegas. Nope; was something she picked up hearing her Mother and Step Father argue as a Tween/Teenager. I explained to her that I found it humorous because it was a line from one of my all time favorite games. I showed her the clip on UA-cam and she asked if I would fire it up and start a new game so she could watch me play. After a while she claimed it was the coolest and most entertaining game she had ever seen. "Get Fucked" became almost like her catchphrase after her seeing it in the context of New Vegas. Hell, she just said it when I was talking to her 2 days ago 🤣🤣🤣
I had this mod installed where i had to put up posters in Freeside. I came across Buster's corpse and I laughed for like ten whole minutes in bewilderment
In my mind, Buster was successful at winning a shit load of caps from Gommora, but he wasn't quiet about it. He jangled out into Freeside and got robbed. Oh well, my Cram Opener now.
Man we’re all just so deep in this FNV addiction at this point if we’re watching this video. Just injecting pure FNV into our veins desperately trying to chase the dopamine high. U know ur down bad when ur watching cornplate videos about ur hyper-fixation
Damn that letter on Boones body is so sad. The fact they put stuff in the game that is so likely to be missed is so great. Probably one of the many reasons so many of us hold this game up so highly
Don't know if it was covered at another point in the video but there are three pieces of evidence you can use against Benny. The first two are mentioned here , the cigarette butts and lights, the third being Manny's note about the Khans working with Benny when they came through novac. Most players won't even go into Manny's apartment, let alone look at his computer and then read through the note but if you do you can get Benny alone , in his room, with all your guns.
You can achieve the same thing with three speech checks, or you can get that best result with a combination, not requiring a super high speech check or all evidence
I believe this is also doable with a mixture of the two. Just requiring you to come back after talking to yes man, 2 pieces of evidence and a speech check. I like this because it neither rewards nor punishes different playstyles. It also doesn't make all the evidence mean nothing if you don't have all of it. Because you've convinced the chairmen enough to listen but not enough to outright believe you. It's better than an all or nothing in this situation.
@Speur'Tighearna MacTerik I have done this but I did it so that Benny's suite was a massive trap. I just had to drop back into his bedroom and hit my detonator. Was a beautiful display of explosions and body parts
I think the funniest part of this video is that even though it showcases tons of characters, somehow at least half of them are all voiced by Yuri Lowenthal to the degree that you can’t unhear it
The other half are Liam O'Brien. You can talk to Major Knight - voiced by Liam - walk ten feet and talk to Ranger Jackson - also voiced by Liam, and then likely hear Liam say "..wish for a nuclear winter" as a no-name NPC in the same building.
What’s crazy, is there is now a mod that removed the water LOD whilst on the strip which improves the frames heavily. It took over a decade for this mistake to be found and if it was in the first place, the strip may have shipped as intended. I bet Josh and crew would kick themselves if they saw it now. Mod name: Aqua Performa
76 hours in my current playthrough and I still haven't finished everything. I don't know if I'd call it a masterpiece, but it is very well put together, especially in the time frame it was made in. That's the most impressive part if you ask me.
Haven't watched the video all the way through so im not sure if it's already covered, and it might be obvious for some people. Victor is the one who saves us from our shallow grave, but in a teaser trailer for NV we see Victor digging, but seemingly unaware of the hand sticking out of the dirt a few feet away. Victor was probably digging to see if the chip was left behind by our killers, and only happened to rescue us.
That certainly recontextualises some things even more. Makes the courier's start to the game seem even luckier, like wow, lol. Survived a gunshot to the head *and* then just so happened to be saved by some random robot that didn't really care about them. The courier must've been fated to start this journey lol. That's really neat!
1:35:10 No, Eulogy Jones' Hat is in Fallout 3 and obtainable. It's near the projector and easily missed, and he never wears it, but its there. I recently replayed FO3 and can confirm.
@@nandcproductions6810 dude it’s been a full year since I last watched the video i don’t entirely remember when he said it I just know he says it whilst talking about a raider or something

It's a tough wasteland. Gotta do what you can to survive. As long as you fix up snuffles and hand some purified water to some beggars, I forgive you and think you're a Saint
Another thing about Victor wich is preaty well known I think is that if Victor dies you can confront him about it later since he respawns and still shows up at the locations you can find him
Hearing the Securitrons say "True to Caesar!" is pretty crazy. I had always hoped there was someway we could keep playing after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. Would have been amazing to see things change, The Fort burned down and occupied by NCR/Securitrons. All the NCR camps and outposts now occupied by the Legion/Securitrons, Caesar now setting his throne in the Lucky 38 and renaming New Vegas to "New Rome" with Legion banners everywhere. Man it would have been incredible.
You don't actually need to kill the junk lady for her shotgun, you can actually break it in combat, end the combat, and pick pocket the broken shotgun when she returns it to her inventory.
I did some digging into Lincoln statues, the only one I could find is in Laramie, WY. It being close proximity to Nevada could mean someone saw the head (which is what the statue basically is) and could have been looking to trade it out west. Lots of theories come to mind but I think this could be some kind of reference, again to many to name.
what this shows is that a major reason why the game is so loved is that it has a ton of options and dialogue for unlikely player decisions. it is prepared for whatever you want to do
@dannydanny2789 how.... how is that possible? And why would they make half of their universe not canon, while still using canon plot lines? Thats like saying Rogue One isnt canon even tho Darth Vader personally showed up to dish out imperial justice. AFAIK the only game not considered canon is Fallout Tactics. New Vegas *canonically* takes place 4 years after & 600 miles away from the events of Fallout 3. Only reason the Mojave doesn't have Aqua Pura is cuz there's no East Coast equivalent to the NCR Edit: if I just /swoosh'd myself, leave a 🤌
33:41 AFAIK no matter whether a character has a physical body or not, if theres a voice actor, the voice HAS to be assigned to a physical character model. Ron Pearlman has his own model too, as well as in fo3
There are speakers places that are basically the character for certain dialogue. For examples, when Curtis/Picus is talking on the radio. There is a radio speaker for the other voice to come from, and the monorail has a speaker in its ceiling for its announcements.
47:36 If you get the "Khan Hospitality" note from Manny's terminal in Novac, you can also present that as evidence in this dialog option. I think the vision here is that if you follow the whole "They went that a way" Quest and take Mr House's advice to speak to Swank you'll get a convenient way to confront Benny (and speak to Yes man) that doesnt require a skill check.
The exploding mailbox reminds me of how it was only after several playthroughs that I noticed the computers that explode when you try to use them have a similar tiny antenna at the back and you can disarm them by interacting with the rear panel of the computer.
Given that New Vegas was a too-rushed release after 3 (heart goes out to Obsidian Entertainment, you know you know), I’d chalk up reused assets to time constraint.
The way you describe the Sierra Madre Casino at around 32:25 leads me to believe the dlc itself might just be a reference to a short animated film called "Magnetic Rose" directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, the same guy that created Akira. I never made the connection before but the way you talked about caused my brain to light up.
When my friend showed me this game,I always thought this was so cool, I just bought it on steam and hope to get back into it, i love how you can be whoever you wanna be in the game and every action you do affects the game
48:41 I actually got her “I hope this isn’t drug seeking behaviour” line by accident when I was trying to buy supplies and accidentally hit the “I need medical attention” option while at full health
I would like to say I've had numerous glitches with the ending slides in New Vegas(ps3) the two best ones was when one of my companions walking across the slides. And another time I retained player controls which was super weird

Crazy lore idea: vault 21 was in the vegas snowglobe cause the globe itself was probably made for gift shops run by vault tech. Also most prewar people had knowledge of their local vaults. Maybe the snowglobe inspired the dwellers to create it
So much of this has helped my most recent nv playthrough. It's not useless thank you so much. I never knew about the salvage ncr power armor. I love you brother. that Victor glitch happened to me a few weeks ago but it was with Rhonda at Black MT it was super bizarre. She didn't fly away from me but she fell apart in the same manner.
Funny story about Victor was when he finds you fighting an enemy outside good springs he spawned next to cazadors when I took the most dangerous route to Vegas. Seeing his robot body go flying down the hill was a hilarious surprise
Small thing: I always assumed the holy hand grenade has such insane damage because it's meant to counter the hilariously OP legendary bloatfly. Both are WW things, and the strongest enemy in the game being a variant of the weakest plays similarly to the rabbit from monty python
New Vegas is one of my favorite games of all time, and I put in thousands of hours into it when I was younger. Only once did I ever pop the mantis eggs (and I didnt even know that I did somehow) but I always wondered why I wasnt able to just step on the bugs in that old building like I did once. Seeing that gave me a flashback to good times, cheers mate
Quite literally just found this but if you’re able to convince Lady Jane that with the lady killer perk where she can pay her own debts when you go to the Brock flower cave after she gives you its location in the wasteland and if you’ve never been there with the wild wasteland park then she’ll appear and disappear in the cave it’s really eerie and kinda neat
With the scorpion burrow, I have a theory. There’s a collapsed tunnel in there and 2 settlers with sierra madre chips. I think those two escaped the sierra madre, that’s the reason Elijah required the explosive collars. This also helped him realize he needed to block off all unconventional exits and entrances to the Sierra Madre, thus why there’s only one way in and one way out that is under complete control of Elijah. Just a theory but it sounds like it could be possible.
Eulogy's hat actual does appear in fallout 3. Only reason why I know with such certainty is I actually got to paradise falls today and found the hat next to the projector in Eulogy's Pad.
I started watching my dad play Fallout 1 when i was 6 ('06), AND i've been playing since Fallout 3 came out... yet it still seems like half the people that started with fallout 4 know so much more than me. which is pretty damn cool, that a totally new generation loved the games so much they chose to study over 2 decades worth of lore
50:23 while walking through the area i found a dead legionary just a few dozen yards away from that raider. when i first saw the body i was like “wait what i don’t remember killing this one”, then i saw the dinosaur and it suddenly made sense
Skilled + WW are definitely the only traits you should use in this game lol I didn't know about the 3rd time you could use it in OWB though, that's pretty nifty. Although I often find myself having 100 in at least 1-3 combat skills & in medicine, speech, barter, or repair before I get to level 20. Just depends on what quests I'm doing and what skills make them the easiest
Here's a good one! If you kill Benny and Vulpes isn't already dead, and manage to evade Vulpes until you leave the Strip, you can make your way to Nipton to talk to Vulpes, and he won't comment on him trying to chase you at the Strip. Kill Vulpes. Afterwards, return to the Strip. Vulpes will be chasing you on the Strip after you kill him.
@TKsMantis have you ever used Veronica to clear the speech check and/or lockpick check in Hidden Valley Bunker by getting her as a follower before arriving to Hidden Valley Bunker? She then has a ton of unique dialogue with named NPCs where her relationship with them comes out. Pretty cool, I never knew I could use recruit her to get through the location in no time.
Has anyone noticed that Helios One is literally backwards. You go down to go up in the tower. It's another interior like the follower's outpost mentioned in this video.
An interesting fact about that is in the game design of fallout new vegas, entering any interior through a closed door, and then going through a 5 second black load screen, is a new enviornment being loaded. It's why you have to cross through a black screen before entering the followers camp, and why their camp has a huge gate around the walls so you can't see there's nothing inside. The designer is supposed to make sure the interior looks and feels consistent to what's seen outside, so they might've made a mistake with HELIOS
Yeah I checked, it's an elevator. Same deal with the meteorological station in Big MT. You enter at ground floor and end up on the roof without going up. How? Elevators
TLDR; I believe FONV to be what ODST was to halo 3, an intended to be mini spoof series game to keep players engaged, oblivion studios were just bloody good writers and had the knowledge, experience and ideas from when they created FO1 and 2 FONV was made in 18 months, there's gonna be some inconsistency, during crunch they scrapped alot of ideas and rushed to get it polished, some NPCs have names in the files but are just called traveller/trader/gambler/whiteleg, cut dialogues, cut textures, cut routes like for example: H&H tools was owned by Mr House and his brother until his brother cut him out of the business so Mr house started Robco and bought out Repconns stocks then (IIRC) used Repconn to mess with H&H tools or something, so his brother got super paranoid and found a way into Mr House's living chamber and had a keycard made as a contingency plan, so you had to get that keycard to enter Mr House's chamber originally. also separately the followers bugging Mr House quest had an extended quest line that was cut Bethesda believed that Oblivion studios wouldn't make anything of quality in time, they just wanted a new game out to keep Fallout fans happy with their Intellectual property, while the Bethesda devs worked on skrimmy. they were so confident it wouldn't do as well as to add a bonus for the oblivion team if FONV broke past 85 on meta critic, it received 84 on meta critic. (couldn't pass the skill check; jokes) bethesda chose oblivion because they were originally black isle studios; the creators of FO1 and FO2 and were working on a third (van burren) before they sold the IP to Bethesda due to IIRC bankruptcy and then changed their name bethesda mangled the story up of van burren and made it 3D to release FO3, birthing what we know as fallout, so bethesda gave the guys who wrote the story of fallout so far a license to create a spoof game with the gamebryo 3D engine and fallout 3 assets (more to it than that) and they blew it out the park IMO, like mentioned the followers safe house between Robco, 188 trader and McCarren was way worse, one room on stilts with the door on a corner oustide, vs two rooms inside with a door in the center; or the (bison steve?) hotel in Primm were you save dep. beagle, huge interior, but the interior should've been mirrored to match the building exteriors profile even the strip as a whole feels off, the tops garden wall in this vid for eg, or the cavity of area in between strip north gate exterior and the lucky 38 and the cavity of area between gamorrah, the tops and fiend teritory, so much unused space I've noticed many inconsistencies as a courier but Helios never really bugged me, I just assumed the majority of rooms in the tower were just under ground and elevator access is at the bottom of it all I have alot of respect for the fallout series but it took me playing FO4 to realise that it was mainly what oblivion studios had created that I liked. Bethesda just had the money to keep it alive If the original oblivion studios writers were currently involved in fallout series I think it'd be better, imagine hearing about a crazy battle at a dam in FO4? you don't even hear about enclave in FO4, only in a creation club mod and a prewar poster mentions them the master isn't mentioned barely any mentioning of the ncr, nothing of the legion, Big Mt, ulysess and the bomb, burned man and the Canaanites the pit, blackwater you'd think that the institution would probably know about big mt instead we got introduced to the nuka mascots and AK's again, a rogue synth storyline and wacky robot and vault creation kits fun fact; there's alot of van burren (cancelled og non bethesda FO3) cut content strewn through out the Mojave. also the gamebryo engine was used to make alot of familiar games, like Canis Canem Edit/Bully for one
It's sick that I can watch the fallout series and randomly come across this video. At 42:19 we see the bomb with the weathered vault tec logo and in the fallout series we learn that vault tec wouldn't be against dropping nukes to start the end. Makes you wonder if the wild wasteland events aren't lowkey canon in some ways
I always wonder if the devs had any clue that nearly 15 years later people would still be dissecting their game. I've always been a big modder but I decided to play the game vanilla (minus some anti crash stuff) for the first time since 360 the other day. It is beyond impressive to me the vanilla 9 GB install is packed with so much content I'm still finding new stuff 500 hours of playtime later.
The "Party Hat" is probably a reference to Runescape Classic's Party Hat. They were gifted to players for free on an anniversary of the game's launch, and never again afterwards. Within a few years, they became rather rare and began to fetch prices in the millions of gold as the player population boomed and people wanted in on the novelty item. This was back in 2004-5ish and it's likely the developers of New Vegas were aware of this game and its nuances too.
Took me a couple days but I finally got through this, but it was really nice. Thanks. It was nice seeing some new things about one of my favorite games of all time, one I thought I had fully explored at this point, but it also makes me feel a bit empty. We'll likely never get a game like this again. Thanks for the feels.
One of the greatest things to do on the PC version of New Vegas is spawning Miss Fortune’s gun. While using VATS you want to aim for the enemy’s weapon. The gun causes enemies to go flying backwards and or in the air. I shot Marcus from Jacobstown into space.
That's because the CODAC 9000 is handled like a weapon (probably due to engine restrictions). It works by basically firing an invisible bullet and that's how it checks for the "pictures it takes". You can see this bullet interaction in effect by taking a "picture" of the battle of hoover dam memorial and Private Kowalski will react as if you shot it, because by the way the games works, you did.
This might sound dumb but I love videos like these when playing fallout, it feels like someone is talking to me about the small details of the game while I play.
I got a interaction most people don't know. Heck it's not even on any wiki. When you do the quest to save Rex's brain by switching his brain. Instead if you have all the intelligence skills at 100 and a few more, you can do a sting of level100 skill ckecks to save rexes original brain, in essance saving the real rex. ( I don't remember spacific because it was a play through of me trying to max all the skills 5 years ago but i swaer its real )

I think this glitch happens to me, without fail, every single time I kill the rat
Yes! I've seen a few people just randomly sliding across the map while kneeling. Good ol Fallout glitches.
Happened to me literally yesterday, two of them powerslid after I antimatted that rat all the way from the Freeside gate. They slid right into the wall at about waist height, chowing on a rat 15 feet away.

Useful fact #1. Hence why it wasn’t included in this compendium
Man seeing Lily freak out at the artillery zone was kinda hard to watch. It’s tough to see a sweet old grandma like her with PTSD.

You go down at first but I believe you go up again through an elevator towards the very end, when you get to the final terminal

cut routes like for example: H&H tools was owned by Mr House and his brother until his brother cut him out of the business so Mr house started Robco and bought out Repconns stocks then (IIRC) used Repconn to mess with H&H tools or something, so his brother got super paranoid and found a way into Mr House's living chamber and had a keycard made as a contingency plan, so you had to get that keycard to enter Mr House's chamber originally.
also separately the followers bugging Mr House quest had an extended quest line that was cut
Bethesda believed that Oblivion studios wouldn't make anything of quality in time,
they just wanted a new game out to keep Fallout fans happy with their Intellectual property, while the Bethesda devs worked on skrimmy.
they were so confident it wouldn't do as well as to add a bonus for the oblivion team if FONV broke past 85 on meta critic, it received 84 on meta critic. (couldn't pass the skill check; jokes)
bethesda chose oblivion because they were originally black isle studios; the creators of FO1 and FO2 and were working on a third (van burren) before they sold the IP to Bethesda due to IIRC bankruptcy and then changed their name
bethesda mangled the story up of van burren and made it 3D to release FO3, birthing what we know as fallout,
so bethesda gave the guys who wrote the story of fallout so far a license to create a spoof game with the gamebryo 3D engine and fallout 3 assets (more to it than that)
and they blew it out the park IMO,
like mentioned the followers safe house between Robco, 188 trader and McCarren was way worse, one room on stilts with the door on a corner oustide, vs two rooms inside with a door in the center;
or the (bison steve?) hotel in Primm were you save dep. beagle,
huge interior, but the interior should've been mirrored to match the building exteriors profile
even the strip as a whole feels off, the tops garden wall in this vid for eg,
or the cavity of area in between strip north gate exterior and the lucky 38
and the cavity of area between gamorrah, the tops and fiend teritory, so much unused space
I've noticed many inconsistencies as a courier but Helios never really bugged me,
I just assumed the majority of rooms in the tower were just under ground and elevator access is at the bottom of it all
I have alot of respect for the fallout series but it took me playing FO4 to realise that it was mainly what oblivion studios had created that I liked.
Bethesda just had the money to keep it alive
If the original oblivion studios writers were currently involved in fallout series I think it'd be better, imagine hearing about a crazy battle at a dam in FO4?
you don't even hear about enclave in FO4, only in a creation club mod and a prewar poster mentions them
the master isn't mentioned
barely any mentioning of the ncr,
nothing of the legion,
Big Mt,
ulysess and the bomb,
burned man and the Canaanites
the pit,
blackwater
you'd think that the institution would probably know about big mt
instead we got introduced to the nuka mascots and AK's again, a rogue synth storyline and wacky robot and vault creation kits
fun fact; there's alot of van burren (cancelled og non bethesda FO3) cut content strewn through out the Mojave.
also the gamebryo engine was used to make alot of familiar games, like Canis Canem Edit/Bully for one
The "Jack and Diane" song reference always makes me smile.
suckin on chili dogs
Little ditty
suckin on chili dogs
It's sick that I can watch the fallout series and randomly come across this video. At 42:19 we see the bomb with the weathered vault tec logo and in the fallout series we learn that vault tec wouldn't be against dropping nukes to start the end. Makes you wonder if the wild wasteland events aren't lowkey canon in some ways
love these kinds of videos, perfect white noise when trying to fall asleep
1:19:22
WAIT! I never knew that! I always get the Wild Wasteland perk and I assumed it was his normal dialogue. That’s so amazing!
I forget if this one was mentioned, but if you get a positive Strip reputation before meeting Mr. House he has a positive unique dialog response
I'm building a house in the Sims while listening to this! The build music gets repetitive so this is nicer to listen to lol
Funny thing about the "aiming weapon at companion" the CODAC 9000 counts as a weapon even though it does not use ammo but camera film
