Why is this so underrated. You created a masterpiece (ignoring irl tank) and you only got 10k views.
Gorgeous model - nice one!
Many thanks!
Saw a running ha-go at the museum, quite a interesting tank.
Agree, I like it too.
I have never worked with blender outside of the video editor. But this is fascinating!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is not Blender. Its Maya.
how do you do the UV sweep?
Cool work, you retopoed this model and texture it right?
Thanks :) Yes, I model and texture it from reference images. what do you mean by retopoed?
@@Artforge756 retopology
@@midhunpmathews I don't think he did
ha made pretty clean topology from the beginning through the entire model @@midhunpmathews
Very nice modeling and texturing. How long did it take to model and to texture the hall tabk.
Hi, thanks, it took around 100 hours
@@Artforge756 combined?
@@jeffjohn911 100 hours aproximately from modeling to final lighting, not including render time of the animation timelapse
@@Artforge756 ok tnx for sharing
Excellent!!!!
Could you tell us which software you used to make this Type 95 Ha Go Tank? And how long you spend?
✌
How your tracks fit so well to the sprocket
Hi, I use a curve and mash in Maya, there is a lot of tutorial about it on youtube.
@@Artforge756 oh you used Maya. I did my two tanks in Blender with path curve and some modifiers. I did them trice on first model (unfinished btw) and twice on second model and every time when one or three tracks fit into the place the rest is just not XD. Idk what's wrong with it
I have a question, recently i tried to create a tank as well and submitted it with my portfolio but one of the artist said that the scaling was not properly done. So my question is, what should i do about the scaling?
Hey, great to hear that you're working on tanks for your portfolio! I suggest check your units measurments, maybe your model is not to real size scale and if you are doing realistic it can affect the lighting. Send me and image, I will check it. By the way what software are you using?
Where did you get your reference images from?
Hello, I use this blueprint:
www.smcars.net/threads/type-95-ha-go-light-tank.7948/
And some reference images I found on google
@@Artforge756 Thank you :)
@@Artforge756 i can't find blueprints, could you help me
do you sell it?
Hi! I have plans to sell my models on 3D marketplaces in the future. If you're interested, I can either sell you an existing model or create a new one to your needs
