Funny story, they did it to suck up to China (Chinese government corruption lets it initially spread in the book, which makes China look bad.....so........), which banned the movie anyway, since they didn't like Pitt.

I was so incredibly pissed off from the second I saw the first video. I had always envisioned it being like District 9, interspersing “found footage” with interviews and regular scenes or like the documentaries The Smithsonian puts out. I knew exactly how it should start. Then the preview came out and it looked like someone had skimmed the cover and figured they could wing it.

Ok so I've always had this question about zombies:
If your paralyzed before the apocalypse and you got bit, would you still be able to walk? Like would their bodies realigned themselves to walk/run or no?
Depends on the disease that makes you unable to walk, I imagine.
In Resident Evil: Apocalypse, we were told that the T-virus was originally made to cure diseases by regenerating damaged cells/tissue. In fact, the doctor working on it were already half paralyzed and tried to find a cure so that his daughter would have to suffer the same genetic disease.
It was, however, unstable(causing massive mutations, if not kept in check with anti-virus), and adopted into a weapon program instead.
So that type of virus could possible make a person that was paralyzed able to walk/run after being zombi-fied.
But each movie/franchise have their own spin on things.

1. No adhesion to the book.
2. Zombies were not the same type of zombies as in the book.
3. The book was 5 times better.
The audiobook was done really good as well. Just picture the role of T.Sean Collins being read by Henry Rollins that sold it for me.

The gray shotgun guy is from the first zombie movie. I think it's called Night of the Living Dead. It is black and white and mainly about survivors holding out in a house with one gun. Pretty good given how old it is. You should check it out sometime

blasterjosh I think it was really stupid that a hospital bed put out the front of his room saved him from what looked like a fucking massacre. I mean come on! the bed had wheels for crying out loud!
