    I love sponge cake. Your mum must be so proud of you. 😉 One of the challenges trying to do international recipes is figuring out all the equivalent ingredients. Sultanas had me flummoxed for a bit. Caster sugar was a bit easier. But the double cream killed me. I eventually asked for the butterfat content to try to match it with something equivalent. I love your videos and your "assistant." 😉

      My "assistant" is darned good at prepping the onions etc , but she's camera shy , hence theres only hand shots lol

    Wowzers Dave...lovely...what's caster sugar? and double cream...is that like 1/2 and 1/2 here or..man I am going to google all this hehe. I so want to try this out...I love your recipes Dave, so anxious to try out yer mum's recipe. Beautiful!

      Booger500us hi Booger thanks for watching and commenting, caster sugar is just plain old granulated sugar but a bit finer in grain , you can do it on your own in a blitzer easily,(just checked usa term is superfine sugar) and double cream , yes its what you call 50/50.
