- First Time in Seoul Korea? Expect This.
Living in Korea for 13 years has taught me a lot about life here and it sort of makes me an expert on life in Korea as a foreigner. Many foreigners from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and other countries are moving to Seoul or want to move to Seoul to start a new life due to the Korean Wave or various interests in South Korea.
Have you ever traveled to Korea or thought about moving to South Korea? What are some things you think you would need to prepare for your stay in Korea? Do you think life in Korea would be difficult living here alone? If you are thinking of moving to Korea, here are a few tips you can use to help you during your stay here.

@@Michaelroh-z5c Thank you so much!!
한국어 잘 하는 프랑수와는 항상 멋있어요! 😝👍🏻🤍
진짜?! 감사합니다 지현이!!!♡♡
I believe that learning and understanding Korean even at a beginners level will help you overcome 90% of the difficulties internationals face. Koreas will be more willing to help you if you need it. It makes ordering at restaurants a whole lot easier. It makes shopping a whole lot easier. Etc, etc. Its one thing if you are just visiting for a week but another of you are staying long-term. Too many people don't understand that Koreans will be a lot more friendly if you can communicate with them in their language. Instead they just blame it on racism and accuse the whole country of it without a second thought. Like any country, Korea is what you make of it.❤
Agreed. I conducted a little experiment last week. I went into a store and immediately began speaking English. The attendant was so flustered that she couldn't respond at all, not even rudimentary English. I switched to Korean after I saw her reaction and you could see all the stress melt away from her. Amd she smiled! Learning basic Korean can go a long way, as you so eloquently stated:)
This is packed full of gems. I hope anyone who is considering moving abroad, and not just to Korea, sees this!
Yooooo, thanks for that, B! Not a highly produced video and tons of audible pauses, but just wanted to get the message out! Always appreciate you!
You sound like a very educated gentleman with good manners.
I like your considerate point of view toward people and society around you. I think you'll find a good girl for you soon.
Hey, thanks so much for that comment! I'm waking up and starting my day looking at this. I really appreciate your words:) I hope you have a wonderful day as well!

Wow, when you mention Wons I can’t comprehend the amounts… thousands… Wow definitely. I like how all signs are in Korean. Wish it was all Mongolian in Mongolia… but I guess it helps tourists it’s in English…
So many people have difficulty with calculating won hahaha. You definitely aren't the only one lol. Thanks always for your support!!!:)
This is a really good video man
Yoooo, I really appreciate this!!!
Even in Australia, which everyone speaks Australian English… I felt lonely and had to enjoy learning to be alone now at another level. ❤ at the same time I like that you are choosing your path. 💜 keep up the good videos 🎉
Learning to be alone can be scary, especially when everyone around you is constantly meeting or hanging out in groups...sometimes, we don't need to hangout with everyone...it's my opinion. Thanks for saying it's okay for me to follow my own path! I think you are doing well too following your path:)
Keep up the good work
I'll definitely do my best!!!:)
dam i miss ur stream😢

dayumn r u traveler? Thank you for supporting mongolia❤

서울 가는 징보가 잘되어 있네요
Thank you! I tried to give good advice!:)
You mentioned not having luck finding a partner in Korea. Do you think your ethnicity is playing a role?
It definitely plays a part. Koreans don't really date foreigners, but among the ones who do, most go for white guys or gals. That's not to say I haven't dated my fair share of women here, but when it comes to long-term relationships or marriage, from my experience, the overwhelming majority of Korean choose white partners. Not to mention the family not accepting me due to my ethnicity. Good question.
What’s your country.
I'm from the United States:) How about you?!
@@francoismarc3 I’m from Mongolia 🇲🇳
