I appreciate you taking the time to write this! I cannot this convey truly over text, but thank you. I've heard mixed things about the sequel, what are your thoughts on it? Hope this finds you well and more videos to come : )
@@Dog.Dad.Studios To me personally, the enemies, lore and atomsphere are top tier (both games have amazing enemies) and for top enemy designs, The Slayer is peak horror. Despite the gameplay becoming different and limited, and other gripes, those positives still gives me a recommendation.
"This was a vision, that became tangible, something I respect more as I grow older.." Howdy Folks! Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to hear your memories and experiences with The Suffering. It was a wild and unique ride! Hope this finds you well.
Cold Fear!!! Oh my goodness, It scared the absolute crap out of me! Hope all is well!! Thanks for taking the time to comment, I truly appreciate it. What’s Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy? It sounds great!
@Dog.Dad.Studios, Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy was another 6th gen 3rd person action game from Midway. I recommend checking it out if you can find it.
Would you like to see them keep some of the comedic/action parts or make it completely survival horror? Did you like the sequel? I've heard mixed things. Thanks for stopping by! Hope all is well!
@@Dog.Dad.Studios the sequel was creepy, but the first one was a bit darker when it comes to the environment. I’d want them to keep the balance of horror and the funny moments. ‘Cause let’s be honest, in those moments both would be apparent 😂
i love how recently alot of people have been discovering this game. sad it all got ruined with the sequel which was so absolutely shitty it was incredible
That's so sad, I would love to know how Torque's story ends.. I heard from another person that the GOG version of the sequel is unplayable too. Did you play it? Hope all is well!
@@Dog.Dad.Studios only palyed ps2 version and it was horrible nothing is missed by not palying the sequel it actually improves ones life not palying it
Thank you so much! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, it brought a true smile this morning. That's so interesting because so many people have said the sequel isn't good! What are your thoughts? I want to know how Torque's story ends : ). I try to upload at least 1 video each week, and I have some good ones already in the editing bay ahaha. Hope all is well and talk soon!
@Dog.Dad.Studios no problem 😊 I wouldn't say that the sequel is outright bad, it just doesn't some things as well as the original. The horror being the main example. Whereas the first one was very atmospheric in places and could really frighten you, this one is more disturbing. It does admittedly focus a lot more on the action, and even world builds a nice amount, so if those are things you appreciate, then you'll like those aspects of the game. I can see why people don't like the sequel. Personally, I do like it, but I'll admit that I prefer the first game. The sequel isn't a bad game, more so it struggles a bit in being a good "Suffering" game. Make no mistake, it will get under your skin, just in a different way to first one. Also the new monsters are fire 🔥. Thanks again bro, looking forward to the new content!
@@RicoChicoMalico thank you so much for writing all this! I hope I can run it on my PC since another person mentioned the GOG version doesn’t work! I’ll try to make it work! I love when games have something unique to them!
@Dog.Dad.Studios No problem 😊 I only ever played the games back on the ps2 and og xbox which worked fine for me. PC would probably give the best performance though. Also, keep an eye out for how they reworked the og monsters to fit in with the new setting ;)
They should remake this game to current consoles or make a sequel. It’s a crime they haven’t done it. You know how much money they could make if they did? Tired of this destiny clones every year.
I'd love to see it, would you like to see them keep the comedic/action elements or make it more of a true horror game? Thanks for taking the time to comment!
10:45 there are a few things, in first person mode interaction with items (door, closets, button etc.) don't have an animation, so it happens instantly, but you can't dodgeroll in first person, so you can't use one of the main exploits of the game, that if you press reload then dodgeroll it cancels the reload animation, but completes the reloading there are a bunch of small details in this game, but I last played it 3 years ago, so I don't remember all of them, but I do remember 1 helpful one, burrowers can always be instakilled if you use a throwable in the whole they come out of, yes even flashbangs work
I appreciate you taking the time to answer this! Thank you so much! Didn’t know about the reload or the burrowers information, that’s really neat and great attention to detail by the developers
@@Dog.Dad.Studios no problem mate, great review of an equally great game the game has quite a few of those features, there was some guy on youtube uploading a compilation of weird/unnecessary/interesting/useful mechanics the game has one of the interesting or unnecessary ones being able to switch your flashlight on and off even during cutscenes :D
Ahahahahaha I think its worth it, but oh man there were definitely lots of scary moments. Yeah Hermes is a character.. Thanks for taking the time to comment exe : )

Hoping one day both Suffering games get remastered along with Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy too. Cold Fear could use a remaster too.
