Howdy Folks! Hope this finds you well! Today we'll be exploring the Mutants in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series! Let me know what your least favorite mutant to face off with is, and which one is your favorite. Thanks for taking the time to watch, and if I missed something you find important, let us know down below. All the best, Dog Dad
Know im late, but my headcanon why poltergeists leave bodies in SOC is the same reason why strelok can naturally perceive artifacts. Being so exposed to the zone and being messed with by the C conciousness has made him one of the few people able to perceive said things naturally. I would actaully love a mod for Gamma or anomaly that gives you a similar ability if you play as monolith.
The only one that is scary to me was the pseudo giant, because it looks truly like something mutated, it has a weird large malformed head and it looks like a huge deformed version of Belial from the first basket case basically. The pseudo giant reminds me also of some of those weird deformed babies in containers that died, around the Chernobyl area in real life, that are preserved in those glass containers.
The best form of defence against aggressive rodents is gaining height to any place they cannot reach. Headshots are usually most successful and saiga shotguns ideal weapons at close quarters
I have never thought about how it must feel to kill a dog as a dog owner. People like saying "it's just a game", but...no. Come on! About weapon pull...well, a game with no frustrating mechanics is a not a real game I guess XD. Amazing video az always, looking forward to the next one!
Games can get to you, like little sisters in BioShock being engulfed or saved, taking them for atom definitely freaked me out. Thank you for the kind words Viz! Hope all is well with you and enjoy the weekend!
nice :) also check out item descriptions a lot of them have small bits of lore one example being the first being the flash eye quote " The mutated, swollen eye of the Flesh acquired a number of strange characteristics, the most useful of which is the ability to regenerate the lens. The specifics of the process are hitherto unknown, although such discovery would most certainly revolutionlize modern medicine. You can play your part in scientific development by selling Flesh eyes to scientists for their experiments"
9:21 Noah wasn't the only person who tamed pseudodog Doctor also has one even if it's in a cutscene it kinda counts i guess... also nice videos and channel mate
You’re right! Someone mentioned that too and I completely went, “ohh I can’t believe I missed that.” It’s a really cool detail and shows they thought about the concept starting in SoC. Hope all is well and thanks for the kind words!!
23:08 There was no pseudogiant behind this door. The door was knocked by a poltergeist. Also the author has forgotten to mention one tiny detail about the poltergeist. It doesn't see you when you don't move. Yeah, it's unimportant in vanilla games where they can be killed easily, but in some mods you just have to use this trick against them.
Thanks for taking the time to write this! Could you share your source? I assumed that it was the giant on the other side before you get the code to the third level. Hope all is well!
@@Dog.Dad.Studios the source is the game. You can abuse the pseudogian in the storage room by not entering it and shooting the mutant from outside the room. This gives us an idea that the pseudogiant in the x18 couldn't exit the storage room so it couldn't reach the door. Also we don't hear any steps from behind the door and those steps must be there if there was a pseudogiant behind the door. Thus. the door was shaken by the poltergeists. Also added one detail to the main comment that wasn't mentioned in the video but exists in the game.
I always thought that was more of a technical glitch than a reality, that the giant doesn’t go past the doors. When you face poltergeists in the games, you know they throw items at the player; with the door, something physical is banging on it, and I don’t think there are any items big enough that the poltergeist would throw at the door. If you’re saying that it’s not the pseudogiant because it doesn’t go past the next door, I think that might be a game limitation, then the indication it’s the poltergeist
@@Dog.Dad.Studios and you misssed the second part of the argument: "Also we don't hear any steps from behind the door and those steps must be there if there was a pseudogiant behind the door." Were developers limited by something to add those steps? No. Also poltergeists interract with physical objects so what limits them from interracting with the door (and they can lift almost anything which has physics attached to it)? --- Rechecked. There's no pseudogiant behind the door. This door leads to the fire poltergeist. Pseudogiant is located on the same floor but it is not behind the door.
That’s wild! Stalker has some weird changes or non cannon stuff, is the book from the creators? I’ll have to check it out regardless! The Zone is weird, and fascinating! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video!
@@Dog.Dad.Studios the stalker novel with the talking Chimer is called Tödliche Sümpfe (deadly swamps) in German. And Deserter is also good a good novel.
Great question! It absolutely could be! I associated the flesh being in the south of the zone more and tasting like pig, but It could be the boar. Damn them for cutting off the legs, we needed them for this distinction!
Maybe its the graphics but no mutants will ever freak me out more than the ones from metro , those spiders ohhhh , fucking spiders. BTW will polls appear back on the community tab? not just the once for the next video but just random fun ones from awhile ago
Howdy! Oh yeah, metro does a great job with their mutants as well! And I was just thinking that would be the next post. Thanks for checking in on that! Hope all is well! Thanks for taking the time!

It’s worth it! Especially with HoC coming soon!
Just woke up and look, what a nice rainy morning in Poland to listen to Dog’s video about Stalker mutanta!
Perfect vibes!
Enjoy : ) hope all is well!
Hell yeah i love anomalous dugout but his accent is very thick so this is fantastic
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Lol i love anomalous dugout because of his accent 😂

I appreciate you taking the time to write this and watch my video : )! Thank you!! It means a lot!
Idk why but ur greeting made me like the vid right away
Thank you for taking the time to write this! Hope you enjoy the video
You can actually meet three burers in yanov. Two in the unidentified mutant quest and another one is at the bunker place, where a note from sokolov is
Thank you for this!
I actually one shot the peuso giant in soc since i found a rocket launcher in the bandit base and i thought id have to destroy a wall or something
Ahahah okay, I never found ammo for the rpg in SoC. One of the monolith guys has the rocket launcher, that I remember after entering Radar lol

The Doctor, from Strelok's group, also has a tamed pseudodog in cutscenes.
You’re right!! So they set it up for a while, thanks for taking the time to comment this!
There's a rocket launcher in the area underground in the first lab, and one in the factory in the Dark Valley.
-Bust Severus, 17 yeаrs lаter?
-Аlwаys.
There are Librarians, werewolves, bears, bats, insects, spiders, military zombies as well as male and female unarmed zombies amongst others
Awesome vid dude
Thank you!

If you play the mod game Stalkersoup, you will find all the mutants plus others

Ive read the book Deserter, and in there some Mutants can talk apparently. The Zone is weird.

@@InterplanarerPennersoeldner65 very cool! I’ll check them out! Thank you!
Wouldn't that be a boar they're roasting and not a flesh in the stalker camp ?
Also Doc had a pseudo dog or psi dog as a companion (cutscenes tho)

Boars have 4 ears and probably 4 eyes. I am not sure but they deffinatelly have extra ears.
What about the cats? Do they only appear in anomaly/gamma? I can't remember.
Yeah they are cut content from the games, but can be found in the Agroprom base as stuffed Cats. Hope all is well!
