- Welcome to today's woodturning project! This time I made a vase out of split firewood and some white colored resin. Interesting project with a simple form, that I finished with Danish oil.
Hope you enjoy the video!

That turned out beautiful! 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing!
Love it! ❤
Turned out good. I like clear resin so you can see the wood.
That turned out really nice, well done.
Oh that turned out just nice. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing. 😊
It came out so beautiful. ❤
That is beautiful
Beautiful! Also... please use gloves and a mask when mixing uncured resin! It can cause a lot of health issues in the long run
That's lovely. ❤❤😊
Thats awesome
Nice job, I love it.
INCREDIBLE !!!
Beautiful, I wish I could get this. Would love to gift this to someone special 😊

Nicely done!
That’s a nice piece! I love how you shaped it especially the opening.
Beau travail
Wow!
Cool piece. For some reason the wood looks like it is ancient in that piece,
Very pretty. :)

You didn't show us how you finished the base of the vase
Great,
Exact amount of resin!
How you arrived at that exact quantity.?
Thank you
I just pour cup after cup until its full. It works for me :)
How long was the drying process with the epoxy? On a side note, good work, interesting concept and amazing result.
Resin cures, it doesn’t dry. I assume the resin used here is two-part epoxy resin, which has a curing time between 24-48 hours. It cures faster in warm, dry conditions.
What pigment did you use in the resin?
Nice firewood...lol
How about using a circular form and not having to slice off portions which are wasted and cost you for the materials?
That would be almost impossible to do with the desired pattern
The purpose of this is to cut the wood and resin simultaneously and keep an even grain so it looks like one material
при укладки древесины вдоль было бы красиво
Бутыфули
You could show how you cut and polish the botton of the piece... you never show this part ;-)
It's no use doing a good job, when a dust mask or goggles are not worn ,health is most important ❤
How do you know he doesn't wear them? Did I miss it in the video? Never seen his face in any of the videos I saw by now.
But you are right, he should. Couldn't help but notice his fingers look like they hurt already. Which makes it even more impressive that he does this work. I like his style
Such a pity you're not able to make anything without resorting to plastic. Destroying the planet one piece at a time 😢
Don't like it, don't watch it 🙄
Wow. Guess you forgot the kindergarten lesson that says “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”
How bout this: think of the firewood he is keeping from being burned, thereby keeping carbon and other chemicals from polluting the atmosphere. Saving the planet one piece of firewood at a time.
Plastic is not destroying the planet as fast as the liberals/democrats are. You do know everything you own has plastic in it. Right?
I had my struggle with watching videos about this kinda art, cos of that resin stuff etc.
Like "don't support that". But I came to the conclusion, that the pieces here will get very, very, very very old. And they are good quality.
There are way worse uses of plastic, or waste of plastic.
And for me the videos have therapeutic effect too. I am watching this before I sleep. Calms me. The sounds are nice
Perfect 👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Good job again!
But in my eyes the colour of the resin doesn`t match to the firewood. It looks like an accident with white wood glue...
