I have seen videos from black people and other races uplifting straight hair, wavy hair, and curly hair. There were even videos comparing type 1 to 3 hair to type 4 hair and saying it’s better than type 4 hair. Yet when black women uplift 4c hair it’s a problem. 😒

The hate train was BOOKED!! Women who don't even have type 4 hair were all up in their feelings. Not once did you say anything rude like how flat straight hair is and how a lot of women with that hair find it difficult to hold even a bump at their ends. I don't even have 4c hair, and I can admit my hair doesn't hold a lot of styles with ease like 4c. In order for me to make certain looks work I gotta get creative, which I enjoy!

Also they "tease and pick" on our hair that naturally rises because they have to tease and pick on theirs for volume. We can pull shrinkage and it snaps back. Wear it longer or shorter. Can they finger roll a strand of hair without product and it stay curled? Can their hair hold any style for a long time?

Someone commented 4c is like a brillo pad and it's nasty that it's not washed daily. They bragged they have long, straight, silky hair as if it's better. They didnt respond why that good hair wreaks of a wet stinking dog after shampooing and air drying it. Does it need to be washed hourly? How does it smell like that right after washing? My natural hair still smells good after a week or 2 week of not washing it. If it happens to smell "dirty" it would still smell like good products or earthy ground/dirt/soil and not offensive. Thanks for showing how our hair blooms like nature 🌳. Lively.
