It is a deep conditioner that contains protein. It’s perfect for those who are protein sensitive but also need to add some protein in their regimen. Hey Michelle! Just know I love and respect you. I've watched your channel from before you launched the line. I almost didn't even post this review, but I was getting a lot of requests to share my thoughts. Even after not liking a majority of the products, I still went out and supported you for Black Friday by purchasing your new cream. I WANT YOU TO WIN! With that being said, I think the marketing around "Strengthen" is a bit confusing for people who don't understand ingredients or how products actually work. I've seen people who are not protein sensitive say it can replace a product like Aphogee Two-Step Protein Treatment and that is false. Like I said in the video, it gives a good balance, but it could never replace a real protein treatment which I am 100% sure folks are confused about. Just my two cents. Waiting for you to release a cowash and a gel styler and I will purchase those too! I really appreciate you coming here with dignity and integrity and not feeling personally attacked by my views. This makes me respect you and your brand even more and i will continue to support you in the future!

I want to appreciate you for your honesty. It’s refreshing to hear someone who shares what they really feel about how a product really worked on their hair. So many of us come to UA-cam to hear how these products work- the good the bad the ugly. Yes each head of hair is different, so products work differently for each person but are we well informed when we watch these videos?

I'm so surprised you didn't like the line. This line is one of my favorites to use but I do find that on my youngest it isnt amazing but just okay for her but she has more curly than coily hair, with thicker strands. I also think because these products have glycerin, I can not use them in the summer at all the humidity doesn't play well with them. Can not wait to see more reviews from you, your hair is so bomb !!!

I love how honest you always are with your reviews. I agree with your thoughts. The DCs are definitely hyped. I also hate the leave-in, it does feel like it's just sitting on top. It reminds me of a rinse out conditioner.

I honestly passed on purchasing from MB for Black Friday. For so many to say that MB wasn’t all it was cracked up to be in your comment section makes me wonder if some YT-ers are truly being dishonest about product results, especially if it’s sponsored?! You know I appreciate your honesty. I haven't been tempted to pull the trigger on this line. I can't put my finger on it, but I have beeb hesitant from the start... Maybe one day, I have just been into more products with ayurvedic ingredients and marshmallow root, BTMS, and slippery elm in the products. Thank you for sharing!!

It dried my hair out too. I stopped using the line. Plus she went up on the price. They offer quad pay..I would never finance hair products, it's not that serious.

Same here! I just tried it for the first time last night and the entire line wasn't what it was hyped up to be. Everything was drying, even the deep conditioner. Now I have to go on another search for good natural hair products 😭 it's stressful
What do you use now to help repair wht happened? My hair seems to be dry after washing and deep conditioning too.
I 1000% agree on the butter. It's very moisturizing but my hair turns in to an afro the next day. I've been using it for my protective styles to ensure it stays moisturized, but def never as a styler again.

“Me and my household” lol... the only product i liked was the protein dc... i agree though its not a protein treatment but a good balance imo. I dont like the leave in or indulge dc bc of the aloe. The twisting butter is a staple for my winter wash n goes....

I love the Indulge deep conditioner and the leave in conditioner. I agree the shampoo is more clarifying than moisturizing. The twisting butter is also good.

I used the shampoo once. Never again. I use the indulge deep conditioner after I do an apple cider vinegar rinse.

Lmao...My hair was kind of dry after a few days too with these products. I've only tried them once so I'm going to play around with them and the leave in and butter left flakes in my hair as well.
Your hair is so healthy and gorgeous girl!! These products do smell really good, that Indulge omg!! I won't be trying the shampoo, you know with my dry stuff the last thing I need is something that's gonna strip everything I've got lol. I'm really looking forward to the butter now though!!

I love your honesty. I loved your shower outfit and you playing with the shampoo lol. My favorite from Miche is the dc, oil and the twisting butter. I feel like I'm too low porosity for some of the products in the brand so far though. I'm keeping an eye out for new items from the brand. I feel like the leave in I didn't need much but I also had the penetration issue in my review. The twisting butter and oil are nice though

Love your review! You are so right. I used that shampoo and because it was so drying, I followed up with my Kinky Tresses Moisturizing Shampoo to moisturize my strands.
I used the moisturizing deep conditioner. It was OK but I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase. It went on smoothly and was thick but I had to work too hard to get it to work through. Way too many other and better deep conditioners I can buy on the ground.
The leave was the best product I used. I could feel a difference on my hair.
I will try the the twist butter later.
I am not a fan of the smell of these products. The smell is too fake. I like more natural smells.
After I use up these trial sizes I will not repurchase.
Oh and the oil smells just like olive oil. I couldn’t tell it had sweet almond oil because it was so thick. I won’t repurchase the oil either.
Update: I used the twisting butter. No no no. I used on damp hair and then to try and seal in the moisture I topped with Qhemet Biologics twist butter. The definition is crazy! However, my hair was dull looking and dry as hell. I used the Adowa oil to revive. Nope I will not repurchase!

I appreciated your review and can agree with you on the shampoo. It stripped the heck out of my hair that using other products to try and revive didn't matter. I do love the protein dc. That's great on my hair. I honestly thought it was a protein treatment I was giving myself, but by reviewing your video and comment below I see I was not, but like I said I still love it and so does my hair. I do have the hydrating and twisting butter and I liked it but I had other products that my hair liked more. It does give a good twist out though. I agree. On another note, have you ever letting your hair stay drenched wet when applying the dc or the twisting butter?
That never works for me
I tried the leave in and never tried any other products from this line. The twisting butter smells great and works beautifully in my little sister's hair. I just wish I could walk into a store and get it for her when she needs it

Well, you have to be honest with what works for your hair. They can't fault you for that. I haven't used anything from them yet but I want to still try the leave-in and I'll check out the butter once my stash goes down. Great video either way sis!😊

I’m glad someone else said it. The indulge deep conditioner was okay but I was not impressed. The shampoo was stripping and the leave on just say on top of my hair and did not blend well with any of my stylers. I ended up tossing it after it sitting for months.

Appreciate your honesty. Have you tried putting your leave-in, in before you get out the shower after rinsing out the DC? Makes a big difference in moisture for me 👍🏾

Girl I can’t believe that it didn’t work...I’m late to the comments but I just won and reviewed the line...your hair looks great! Even if It doesn’t feel great...My hair stayed moisturized and is staying moisturized but I didn’t use the shampoo this time around...so far my favs are the leave in and the twisting butter...and you’re right not a lot of hold but hair feels good! I will try the other products as well, but I like them...so far...my first impression. And yep these are winter products for sure!
I am so glad you said that about the deep conditioner. People had me so hyped up to buy this on Black Friday until I read the ingredients. I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s a protein treatment. I already have the SheaMoisture High Porosity Masque that has similar proteins, similarly placed on the ingredient list. Why would I go out and spend more money for this.

I love both leave in conditioners...when I mix them with Shea Moisture’s manuka honey masque. I use a hot head with the deep conditioner. Also I make sure my hair is saturated/wet when I apply the leave in. I love the curl refresher for my fine coily type 4 hair. I use wetline over the leave in and it’s bomb! I can agree with you on one thing, the shampoo is trash 🗑. Thanks for your review!
i feel like the reason it turned out this way us because you need to be adding A LOT of water to your hair when you use the butter, that's how you get slip and you wont need to be using nearly as much product and you'll get better results
You see I've been saying that during the whole post you are smart like me. If I put that stuff on my hair is dry as hers was of course it's not going to work properly

I actually felt very similar to you, the twisting butter was great but I don’t like the leave in because I feel like it doesn’t have enough moisture and I also preferred the protein deep conditioner as well. Thanks for the review!

Man, this is the only review I should have ever watched regarding Miche Beauty, I agree with everything you said, no idea why this range was so overhyped, I was highly underwhelmed, so glad I finally finished that "moisturising" DC. Please can you revisit Nature's Little Secret, I recommend their rose moisturising DC and banana leave-in

However, u r not the first person to say the shampoo was not moisturizing and I have seen people say the definition does not last. I feel you on that bc I live in Georgia and glycerin is not my friend. I was surprised about the DCs though.

Damn goes to show everyone’s hair is unique! Your hair still came out so cute tho! Most products don’t do anything for my hair it’s picky much like myself lol. But I bought the sample pack they had and was blown away honestly. I didn’t know a leave in conditioner could make my hair feel and look so good. I actually got a lot of hold with the butter alone which I didn’t think I would. Only thing I dislike is that there’s so elongation whatsoever. The oil is whatever tho lol.

I purchased the deep conditioner and oil when the line first came out to show support. It was kinda cute but I wasn’t in love. When she added more products to the line, I kept hearing people rave about it on YT, so I was tempted to get everything else. After this review, I’m so glad I didn’t. I already have enough products collecting dust. No need to add more. She always has such thorough reviews, which I love😍😍

I love this line, shampoo is my holy grail as well as indulge and the oil. I’m 4b. On my granddaughter her hair is about 3c and all the products worked amazingly in her hair.

I experienced this this year with couple brands everyone raved about. I had an okay experience with products i most used the leave-in under a gel but the others been collecting dust on my shelf though. Smells not my favourite either and I remember someone saying they got attacked by bees after using these products 😭🤣

Let me just say that I agree with everything you said. The smell is amazing it gives me the white airhead candy smell lol I watched so many videos before I purchased and I was so excited especially for the shampoo. I was soooo disappointed when I didn’t get all the damn slip to match with the suds lol I was like wait a min. Then the deep conditioner it was like you said just ok I love curlssmith’s better. That leave in left build up on my lp hair and it just looked ashy😏 I spent $56
My strands loved the line, ecxept for the shampoo, and no hold in the leave in or twisting cream. But, had my moisture on point for days. Each head is different is so true.

I too was disappointed with the products I bought and I feel like it ain’t for those in the Caribbean lol, that’s the only reason I could come up with cuz everybody (I’ve seen), of various textures loves this line. The leave-in conditioner dried my hair out and the twisting butter just sat on my hair and did nothing to moisturize or lock in moisture. I realllllly wanted this line to work! But I get that others mileage will vary.

I tried most of the line (shampoo, leave-in, hair scalp oil, hydrating cream and both deep co) and... I was disappointed. The products are amazing at defining curls, they smell good and they do moisturize my hair but I couldn’t detangle my hair without ending up with a headache. I experienced a lot of hair loss, knots and they did cause a lot of split ends. It was so much that I did cut my hair. I still have a bit of hair loss but I think I will apply a good clarifying shampoo and a protein mask in the hope of reducing the hair loss. It’s so frustrating because I really wanted them to work for me but it’s a no for me. One of my friends recommended the brand to me and the products work very well on her. So this is a perfect example of « what works for some doesn’t necessarily work for others »

Aight square up sis LOL...I absolutely looooove that shampoo. It’s one of the best I have tried, for me it’s not clarifying at all. It’s moisturizing to the point of feeling creamy. I love the indulge deep conditioner too.
But that’s where my love stops with miche beauty lol. I HATE the leave in, despise it. It sucks. I liked the butter and that it doesn’t have shea in it, but it’s definitely not a styler. I would use it as a thick moisturizer.

I'm going to use it....exactly how you said (moisturizer)...and I'm going to seal with jojoba oil and tailored beauty everything shea butter 💕...I wish I could go a week without moisturizing my hair...but I'm down here in the south....and I'm a postal carrier 📫 and in the gym 6 days a week...let's see how many days this will give me of moisture....🤞🏽

I learned I had to use these products with heat to work for my low porosity hair. To me it's worth it since no other product has moisturized my hair where it lasts for a few days.

I liked the shampoo and the protein treatment. I felt the leave in worked better on wet hair, dry hair it did not work so well. I liked the butter also. I haven't tried the moisturizing dc.

My chwest( chest as my mom would say 😂😂) you are the shampoo is definitely stripping so I’m nit fighting you on that one, I buy their strengthen deep conditioner over their indulge because my hair for some reason their indulge makes my hair a little brittle idk if it’s the aloe Vera. But the leave in?? Gurl the leave in is my life though but you kind of right i do run through it kind of fast but the moisture last for days on my hair. But you know your hair, if it didn’t work for you then it didn’t we ain’t mad sis, but I still waiting for a couple of your DIY’s.

Wet hair doesn't work for me
I got the sample pack before Thanksgiving so I could see if I wanted to repurchase anything for Black Friday. The shampoo was ok. The moisture dc wasn’t anything special. I’ve used better. The protein dc was amazing. It made my hair super soft but once I put on the leave in my hair was dry. I put the butter on top and my hair felt soft again and stayed moisturized all week. The protein dc and butter were the only repurchases for me. I’m actually happy you didn’t like all the products. I always feel weird when every single person likes a product and I’m the only one that doesn’t. Then I feel like I have to keep giving it more tried like maybe it me not the products.
I really will revisit everything without the shampoo. Definitely the culprit I believe
I think the best product is the line is the indulge dc, I found the shampoo moisturizing, but on my son's hair it is a little stripping so I believe you. The leave in meh on my hair, but on my sister's hair who has a looser texture than me, it works phenomenally.

I’m crying right now 😭😂. I disliked the shampoo at first because it wasn’t moisturizing, but the more I used it the more I liked it. It cleansed my hair well enough that I felt like it allowed my deep conditioners to work better, but my hair didn’t feel terribly stripped.
I actually re-ordered the shampoo today, and decided to purchase both deep conditioners because I’m curious to see if the hype is real or not. The leave-in and hair butter were a definite no-go for me. Both had good slip when wet, but when dry my hair felt waxy. My sister has much thicker hair than me and she seemed to like the leave-in and hair butter.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who wasn’t impressed with certain products
