I'm so happy we have a channel like this to help overcome hair issues that "normally" occur in men as we get older. Suggestions here have helped me achieve all time hair length enough to tie up comfortably while feeling thicker and healthier.
You are completely not balding. it's normal to see your scalp. As a dermatologist I wouldn't of prescribed any medication after looking over your videos of your head. There's no noticeable miniaturization of hair. But it's good to get on a prevention protocol .
It's also normal to have different hair types.. it's not normal to see your scalp more than you used to. I fking wish people hadn't told me "doh it's normal" and "just a mature hairline". Now I'm dealing with a fking crap hairline and a much thinner crown. I look at other people's hair who have thinner hair than I used to, and I just get jealous.
Will you consider doing an update video in a few months to show how effective it's been for you? I've also noticed seeing my scalp more since growing out my hair and I'm curious to see if this actually fixes the issue for you. For now though I'm not gonna trust the before and after photos a product has on its own store page.
Your hair will thicken up if you cut it short and let it grow back. Use a comb instead of a brush, eat red a green veggies and include cardio also when you are growing it back moisturize with a very simple product like hair butter. Stay away from rubber bands it pulls the hair out when too tight use a clip or like a head band instead. Just a lil advice it worked for me. My hair is much healthier now. Good luck!
Your journey has been so similar to mine. I’ve always had longer hair and people know me for it, I suddenly noticed it thinning and was extremely obsessive. Other people say I’m being ridiculous because I still have a full head of hair but it’s very obvious it’s thinning and you’re constantly thinking about it getting worse. I’ve got a couple of friends on manual so have just started too. I spent days reading about the side effects of finasteride but there are some pretty big studies that show they happen in less than 2% of people, no side effects so far. Ultimately i am hoping this holds me for a while but I am also becoming more comfortable with the idea of losing my hair, you will always make the best of the situation if/when that happens. Whilst it’s painful if my hair goes I will assess how I feel and make sure I can accept myself that way before deciding whether or not a transplant is right for me. It’s important to remember you always have that choice. Even without hair you would still be you and still look cool as shit, it is also a great opportunity to become more kind to yourself and learn about acceptance; even if it’s just for the time period of a transplant taking effect. Lastly I found manuals minoxidil made my hair really greasy so I’ve carried on using their finasteride but switched out for regains foam which doesn’t seem to have the same greasy effect.
Same man .my grandfather is 89 nd he till date styles his thick hair like a 20 yrs old would do .but here I am at 25 struggling to maintain my hair style bcz it got thinner nd finner.sometimws it gives me sleepless nights . I don't know what to do. Sometimes i feel just to shave it nd see whether it's just hair being fine or actual density reduction. But it makes me sad.
I’m 20 and I’ve never had the best hair genes. I’ve always had very thin hair. I remember when I was 15 my barber said I wasn’t going to have this hair forever and that shit scared me. But I’ve come to terms with it I realized that it doesn’t matter and as long as I can grow a beautiful beard I’m okay with being bald one day.
My dad and all his brothers are bald and I have widows peak but I can see mature hairline and Ik I’m gonan start receding soon 😂 but I workout and try getting sharp jawline and we be alright
The products featured in the video is basically prescription finasteride (90 x 1mg) and some unfortunately overpriced 5% minoxidil sprays - which is not recommended as the research suggests applying 1ml worth in the scalp twice a day for best results - should still work regardless. Impressive products but people would be better off buying the kirkland brand minoxidil for half the price per bottle, and getting direct and monitored prescription finasteride or dutasteride from your healthcare provider as those may come with side effects. Which the service does offer some convenience for those who would want to try the products first - for a few extra bucks. Atleast its not biotin supplements, and are treatments that actually work.
These miracle pill companies prey on the gullible and men really worrying about hair loss. Both unacceptable to be honest. If only more men would just do some basic research.
Good on you for doing something about it. I noticed cracks of scalp on my head at 24 and immediately lost it; started obsessing about how my hair looked from all angles, taking endless selfies to gape in horror at how bad it was getting everyday. Luckily I started on oral fin shortly thereafter; hair's stayed the same since then and thickened up slightly.
I know my opinion doesn't weight a lot but personally I don't see any hair thinning from you, it looks just as healthy as always. Of course take the prescription as you like but I see no difference. :) good content as always
@@ryannshadow yes they do. All your hairs isn't the same. It is even normal to have some minituriazation. Hair is a complicated thing. Even our so-called experts hardly knows anything about it - even if they tell you different.
Im exactly at the same stage as you are, ive been on a similar treatment before and stopped. I think is incredibly important to point out that once you start you might as well treat it as a lifetime commitment, or at least for as long as you want thick looking hair on your head. Because once you stop the treatment you notice EXTREME loss in a matter of months (2-4 months you experience insane shedding). I know its genetics and everyone is different, but statistics play a part in this. Yes it really works 90% of the time but the new hairs that you get from Minoxidil are not "yours" per se, you stop they just fall again. Just an heads up to anyone considering investing time and money on this.
Bro he doesnt even loose hair. Its a mature hair line which 95% of men get regardless if they are balding or not. It just mesns youre getting older. Androgenic alopecia looks way different. Also I think that male pattern hair loss doesnt come from your mothers side, it is proven that 80% of men have the same hair as their father. If you look at your father and his father, I think you will get a real good assesment. If there is a dermatologist around, pleas tell me if im completely wrong. Also guys a tip, dont do weight training. Do cardio. Ever wondered why soccer players have such good hair usually? Jogging is proven to lower stress and DHT. Lots of men loose hair due to excessive weight training and taking supps/steroids. Also generally men, do live unhealthier generally so studies will obviously show more hair loss on average.
@@thehello1209 I used it for 3 months and i started to have dry scalp. My doctor told me to stop for 10 days and gave me a cream for the dry scalp. He told me it wont affect my therapy 🤔
I was going through a similar situation. Crazy thick and full hair in my 20s and starting to thin a bit in late 20s. I also had a man-bun and then medium-length hair. Cutting my hair definitely made a significant difference as my hair was weighted down and it just didn't feel healthy. I haven't noticed any more thinning for 2 years now and I'm 32 now. I think with some guys the hair density matures the same way the hairline does. I would def recommend getting a haircut before making drastic decisions.
Bro i have curly hair and ive had a manbun for 1 year now. But i noticed that its getting thinner now. I just turned 21. So youre suggesting that longer hair will eventually lead to thinning and hairloss? Should i cut my hair?

Well, from the products which you promote only minoxidil is efficient to a noticible degree and it by no means should be used as stand alone treatment, but in conjunction with some dht blocker (finasteride or so). Neither biotin nor caffeine nor saw palmetoo in your shampoo will have any significant influence on your hair, and these so called "hair vitamins" will work only if one had a big vitamin deficiency, which stands for like 1% of population. Guys, do not buy these products, check any legit hair-loss-prevention channel on yt and listen to them.
@@LucaSantangeloUK Those plant DHT blockers have been shown in animal studies to block some DHT. Very little amount and it's on animals! These plant based DHT blockers are great for prevention when hair loss has not even started like in your 16-18s but once it starts even if it's super slightly, you need the real deal which is finasteride!! Finasteride is the king of all hair loss prevention!!!! Minoxidil is the best supplementary treatment together with ketoconazole shampoo! No offense, but this company are selling you bullshit vitamins with an already established minoxidil product that has been out on the market for at least 30 years. They just rebranded and repackaged it for way too much cash! You can buy minoxidil for more than half the price of this overpriced company
Hey Luca, I am in a similar boat to you at the moment. I suspect the oral treatment is finasteride. It is definitely highly effective and something I will be using soon too. I just want to kindly advise you to keep an eye on its effects on your body and monitor them because there are people experiencing different degrees of side effects from it. I also want to inform you about the topical application of FIN, which is supposed to reduce systemic absorbtion and thus lower siede effect risks. I think your hair loss progresses very slowly at the moment and you could get away with a combination of Minox and FIN applied topically rather than lowering your complete DHT levels systemically with the pill. edit You may also want to look into microneedling, which can basically double your results with MIN. Also, ketoconazole might be worth taking a look at. its also woth remebering that MIN is a lifelong commitment because progress gained on it will be lost when stopping. IMO you could get away with FIN only, and maybe even just topical as I said. I am wishing you all the best on your journey. Just don't get discouraged by the initial shedding phase of FIN + MIN. Cheers!

His density is getting reduced & he knows that well because he can feel the difference between past & present. Wiith time slowly his hair follicles dies & he choosed right treatment for delaying his hair loss. I too facing same exact problem & am too taking same treatment since last week. Hope for the best.
On the topic of the obsession with taking pictures: Don't trust them too much, I went through the same phase and had, at one point, 1100 photos of the back of my head. What I concluded was, at least for iphone cameras, they try to make the picture look brighter and so the crown area of your head looks worse than it actually is. From the pictures you show at 0:30 I can see your problem is that you don't style your hair whirl the "right way". It looks like you force a part of the hair to go straight to the "front", towards the mid-scalp but those are the hair at the whirl so you should "let them flow" the way they are supposed to be- in a circular motion. What you show at 1:19 is just what's called a hair part. Look at girls with long hair, ALL of them have this exact same thing, maybe not at that particular place because they usually part their hair in the middle. A good indicator to see, if your hair actually gets thinner is by keeping an eye on the size of the part. If it grows wider, then I'd start to worry. Sorry for this long comment but I deeply relate to you, as I went through all this as well. You really don't have to worry that much, hair loss usually starts at the temples + you have your mature hairline already. It's good that you take minox but it's probably not even necessary yet.
....though I doubt I'll be checking them out. I'm 66 now (one of your oldest viewers?) And 20 months into hair growth; long, thick and luscious - not a speck of baldness anywhere, not especially grey - just nice. And my hairline same as when I was 16. My friends of your age say it's "fierce"..... your videos have been helpful and uplifting. Remember, caro Luca, moderation in all things .... including a moderate amount of overindulgence?...
@@30yearolduncaringboomer75 Nice. You're right - but if I only reach 90, I won't have had time to grow up! And, even if I find my first bald spot when I'm say 87 I shan't mind since I won't be wanting to look after my thick, luscious locks when I'm 102 (I'll be too busy!) As for testosterone, latest research suggests all men have similar amounts. Having little body hair but full head hair simply indicates a different distribution around the body. Men with more body hair, and more baldness, are statistically less intelligent and interaction between the brain and our hormones may explain this (though, as they say, research is ongoing....!) Thanks for taking the trouble... you lucky youngster you! x
It’s always best to start before it’s too bad. As long as your treatment includes finasteride or dutasteride you’ll keep your hair. I’ve been taking it for 2 years now, no side effects, no regrets. Best of luck!
Agreed. 10-year efficacy studies on finasteride (monotherapy) reveal prevention and improvement. And Dutasteride is an even more potent 5AR inhibitor/"DHT blocker" - especially 2.5mg.
I have been on fin for 4 years and I still recede in the temples and my front hairline. Also no improvements whatsoever. I dont know how i would look like without fin but it definitely doesnt work for anyone.
"Its a difficult concept to come into terms with" This...this explains it all, especially on the early stages, one doesn't simply accept the fact that they wake up one day knowing that their head is balding and their hair follicles are closing, we all are born with hair and grow up having it without minding it as an issue until it comes to this point, unless you have a rare condition where your body can't produce any hair since birth.
im 21 and seeing some thinning, i have thick long red hair just like my mom. my dad on the other hand is pretty much thinned out lol. the last 1-2 months ive noticed my hair/hairline thinner and left side of temple receeded just a little bit. i thought about hopping on minoxidil but havent decided. im factoring in the that i was dealing with a breakup from a woman i truly loved. my diet went from decent to eating almost no food protein/calories for the last 7-8 months, stress out the roof, smoking, vitamin deficient, etc. so i think these all have played a huge factor in it. before i decide to get on minoxidil im going to try to fix the things i can control. get back into healthy shape with a real diet, stop stressing as much, get the correct supplements/vitamins in my body, etc. if i try and continue to have hair problems then i will get on minoxidil. im not 100% sure if what i said could be a reason to my hair problems but i think it is. i've never had any problems till i stopped taking care of myself this last year. any opinions and is what im saying an actual possibility. thanks
Honestly man, I feel like it only looks like it’s thinning because you grew it out. If you see a regular barber or hair stylist that might be a better judge🤷🏽♂️
In terms of just maintenance, I have no clue why people do not use topical dutasteride. Its better than everything else with the caveat of not being able to use it near pregnant women (also slightly more expensive than finasteride).
Just wanna share my story. I also used to have really thick and full set of hair. But when the pandemic hits, I decided to grow my hair out. During the growing out phase, I realized that my hair feels thinner, and I feel like I can see my scalp more. I also had issues with my scalp being so dry that it started flaking, and the hair itself are so oily. So I chop a lot of them off leaving the usual undercut quiff look. My hair did got thinner. Well, at least the individual strands are. But I still have a lot of them. It's way easier to style now since my thick hair was quite unruly. But it is harder to maintain volume, so prestyling is pretty much needed for me. Don't know how this happened, but it did
@@alexandrosstavrou4224 Yeah stress and unhealthy lifestyle is the main causes of thinning and hair loss I've noticed less hairfall after avoiding junk food, Oily food and refined sugar and having more veggies fruits and meat including fish also along with vitamin supplements prescribed by my dermatologist

Yup, I recommend hopping on finasteride, that’s what I recently did, I’ve been a diffused thinner since I was 16 (that’s crazy) and so I got on finasteride about 4 months ago ( at 20 yrs old) and this been great, no side effects at all, but definitely stacking ketoconazole shampoo helps

Tip. If you take out a manual subscription and just before it’s about to renew, go to cancel the subscription and you usually get offered a discount every time. I’ve been with manual for a year and I’ve never paid full price for their products.
The thing is, I'll 100% hop on using minoxidil forever someday BUT im too scared to even talk about FIN since one of the side effects that I've been seeing and reading around the internet is basically stripping you off of ur manhood (if yk what i mean) although studies says it's low risk i believe but doesn't mean there is no chance of it happening. THEREFORE im questioning myself about whether using minoxidil alone would work well (even if it took more time than needed) or using microneedling + minoxidil AT MOST.
Anyone who’s on a budget I’ve seen results by doing daily head massages (5 mins) consistency is also really important, getting a good shampoo and taking vitamins.
I think DHT should not be overlooked. Minoxidil sure helps with hair regrowth, but it does not address the root cause of androgenetic alopecia which is DHT, or more precisely one's hereditary hair follicle sensitivity to DHT. This hair loss regime is adequate enough, however it is missing the most important and crucial part of a hair loss treatment plan, namely Finasteride. There is ton of fearmongering regarding this drug, but the percentage of people experiencing side effects is really negligible. Another thing is that if you're experiencing side effects you can simply hop off of the medication.
Bro a bunch of people on Reddit been saying they get limped dick and can’t get hard… what dosage is safe and effective. Also what do you think of the other one forgot the name of it but it starts with the letter D(dinastriade?)
@@Cal827 i personally take 1.25mg a day and i haven't had any issues, the other drug you're not talking about is dutasteride, but the side effects with it are the same if not more exacerbated. To put it short, if you have issues with finasteride you'd probably have them with dutasteride too, since dutasteride blocks both type 1 and 2 5ar reductase enzyme, whereas finasteride blocks only type 2.

First of all thanks Luca for being honest and open for all your followers, I think that the only way for making your hair thicker, is by undergoing a hair transplantation. Using the mixodile medicine will bring also some bad side effects, and it doesn't work for everyone. But it's only my advice, I appreciate your advice and hope in the future it will be alright. I also love my hair so much, I had thick hair until the age of seventeen, my hair is thinning and I also have some little bald spots which makes the scalp visible. This could make every man unconfident (because it's our adornment) , but we have to get used to it. Love you all guys!
Same story here man but it still looks great 👍 embrace the age and wisdom that comes with it although it is a hard pill to swallow, it’s something we all go through. Cheers mate still looking dapper
I am vegan, and can totally say that it does or can affect your hair! However remembering to take your supplements and eat healthy whole foods. Does hair loss or receding run in your family?
THANK YOU. I'm in the same situation. Even though my head is full of hair right now, I feel that it isnt as dense anymore as it used to be back when i had medium hair. T3T
I also have long hair, and I’ve read that finasteride causes you to shed a lot of hair after about 2 months of treatment, and then you may start to see some hair starting to grow back, I’m worried to try it cause I don’t necessarily want to lose a bunch of hair before I can start to grow more, also it’d be different lengths cause my old hair is long and has had years of growth, I’m curious to see how it would work for a guy with long hair before I’d want to try it 🤔
If you are not sure about finasteride I would highly recommend you explore some of the plant treatments for hair loss (Amla, Hibiscus ((specifically Hibiscus Rosa Sinesis)), Rosemary, Peppermint ...). Studies have proven that these plants are just as effective as minoxidil at regrowing hair, but they don't come with all the potential harmfull side effects, but actualy function in more areas/ways, not just hair regrowth (preventing dandruff, reducing scalp itchiness, strengthening and repairing the outer layer of hair, prolonging the growth phase of hair ....)
The only things that work are Finasteride and Minoxidil. Have been using it for the last seven years with good and consistent results. No side effects.
I also had beautiful hair like him and would style it from 17-19. Then starting from 20, it began to go to shit. Now at 23, it is a disaster as I have a true case of male pattern baldness unlike him who just has diffused thinning however his case will get worse by his late twenties if he doesn’t get on a 5ar inhibitor ASAP. I am trying to maintain for as long as possible and reverse as much of it as I can with Dut, Oral Minox & RU58841.
Did someone actually see you in person in order to assess whether or not you have Male Pattern Baldness? What's about your family history? Does Male Pattern Baldess run in your family? What Norwood is your father? Uncles? I'm saying this, because you don't have any visible pattern of MPB as it's usually starts from receding hairline and crown. IF there is any thinning, it's all over your scalp, which can indicate other issues (as being vegas can bring some deficiencies). I'd strongly suggest to get a full blood panel checked before commiting to DHT Blocker as it might very well be not MPB, in which case it won't do anything. Minoxidil is always great as it works on any type of hair loss by promoting anagen phase.
@@alexkrushov2114 some vitamin deficiency or hormonal imbalance. On the first glance it doesn't look like it's typical male pattern baldness as his crown is very strong, so chances are DHT isn't playing factor in it (although possible to be not a standard norwood pattern).

Thank you very much for sharing this Luca. I started getting into hairstyling back in 2015 while still at school and subscribed to your channel soon afterwards. My hair was already naturally fair but I was able to maintain a quiff for about 5 years. I stopped styling it when Covid hit as I was mostly home everyday and thought I could just go back to it afterwards, but my hair has thinned more since and my hairline has receded considerably around the temples despite only being in my early 20s. Remember that minoxidil is a lifelong commitment and when ceased, destroys the hair. Personally would've tried finasteride for a year to stabilize the follicles and even promote thicker hair. Best of luck.
Awww damn....That is not good. Especially when the plan is 20 pounds/month and not everyone has euro or usd as a currency...I would like a source for that though to be believable . As far as i know you can experience fast thinning or loss of hair a while after stopping the treatment , provided you had such problems already before you started the treatment but if you're one of those that doesn't experience thinning it shouldn't affect you once stopped.
@@randomyoutubecommentersecu7639 Well if we take a step back and understand the mechanism of how minoxidil regrows hair, we can observe that minoxidil tends to shed a lot of hairs in the beginning stages in order to regrow them as well as other spots that lack hair so it appears thicker in about six months, but once this treatment is stopped, the minoxidil hairs are not terminal which means they'll rapidly fall out. This is why most all dermatologists recommend finasteride for a year before minoxidil to see where you stop losing hair.

Your hair is literally fine. It’s completely normal for hair to become less dense when you reach your adulthood years, but it doesn’t mean you’re going bald. You still have a thick head of hair, just not as extremely dense as it was in your late teens and early twenties. This video seems like a scam.
It may or may not come in helpful for anyone out there. Try using microneedling (0.5 - 1 mm) i recommend 1 mm once/week (try combining microneedling with minox (it improves the minoxidil penetration of your scalp to reach at the hair follicle), or consider using oils, i would suggest a combination of rosemary, peppermint, and lavender oil diluted with a carrier oil). I've started microneedling with 0.5 mm, moving towards 1 mm (not higher to avoid scalp bleeding or issues). If you guys want, i can share with you some scientific papers which highlights the efficacy of every oil i've specified, and microneedling also. P.S. If you pick minox, you must continue, if you stop, the shedding will appear after a while. Have a great day !

So pretty much think of it like brushing your teeth but for the hair right?

Hey Luca,
I am in a similar boat to you at the moment. I think your hair loss progresses very slowly at the moment and you could get away with a combination of Minox and FIN applied topically rather than lowering your complete DHT levels systemically with the pill.
edit
You may also want to look into microneedling, which can basically double your results with MIN.

Word of advice don’t plug a sponsorship on a hairloss company on a video like this because it all just seems like a big promo

I think DHT should not be overlooked.
Minoxidle don't work 😁😁
I also had beautiful hair like him and would style it from 17-19.
Your 100% right bro.
How will it get worst if he’s using rogaine and finasteride and shampoos and vitamins
If he's balding then, I am because we both have very similar hair, other then his is dark and my is light brown with a reddish cast!
Minoxidil is always great as it works on any type of hair loss by promoting anagen phase.
blood panel for what? do u mean that it could be a low testosteron levels causing hairloss?
@@alexkrushov2114 some vitamin deficiency or hormonal imbalance.
On the first glance it doesn't look like it's typical male pattern baldness as his crown is very strong, so chances are DHT isn't playing factor in it (although possible to be not a standard norwood pattern).
@@MrRolandas could the same be said for seborheic dermatitis? Could a full blood panel possibly show whether the root cause is something internal, cuz i hear alot of people deal with it in just couple of months of doing keto but since im skinny and tryna gain weight and muscle i dont really wanna get on eithet keto or carnivore diet ☹️
@@alexkrushov2114 dermatitis can indeed cause hair loss, but it's usually has a severe form of it and would very pretty obvious. Dermatologist would help to guide into the right direction.
@@MrRolandas im sorry, very pretty what? and btw i had been to dematologist multiple times and all they ever did was to prescribe me some useless shampoos which may or may not have just worsened it for me. I just need to know what may work 100%
Hair thinning and hair loss are our natural processes, at the same time our big one! According DNA it just changes in volume and speed. Unfortunately, every single man will experiment a percentage of that during his journey. I'm 32 in these days, and hair thinning started years ago. It's proper sad lol

I'm 26, my hair is not thinning, but the corners are receding a bit. It's just that the only hair loss in my family is recession at the temples but no thinning to the hair that remains, so for these couple of centimeters in all honesty I don't feel the need to do anything about it
Thats pretty normal brotha, like 95% of men will have that hairloss, I do too. I'm 29. It started around 25 or so, even sooner than that but it was barely noticable. I would still encourage you to take good care of your hair though!
So you wash your hair once a week? Do you recommend that with also working out? How many days a week?
I was vegan for 7 years and im 100% sure it made my hair thinner and less dense.
So I don't do anything with my hair anymore which has affected my confidence. I'll definitely give this treatment a look, thanks for sharing and for your openness 🙂
Would this treatment help with restoring your hairline?
Yes, and also consider adding microneedling. It speeds up the process
Is it working for you so far? 😅
@@54elmorocks1 hello there. I was on minoxidil+microneedling for about a year. Added 0.5mg daily dose of finasteride 2 weeks ago to the treatment. It has helped me gain back a tiny bit of my hairline and a bit of density on top already. No sides. In my opinion you shouldnt wait if you are struggling with hair loss🤝

What is your beard style now?
Well in my case if shed so much each day and due to that I've been plucking my hair out constantly in madness now got a buzz cut what should I do to prevent hair loss and thinning
Yeah I have long hair and sometimes when I see them coming out I just pull my hair even harder with my comb out of frustration, really regret that and won’t do that again
Me too man.. it is the most frustrating thing to watch. Because it is one of those things that you just can't stop. People out here promoting "all bodies are beautiful" because some people are too lazy to live healthy lives.. but losing your hair is still not really accepted by society, but there is nothing to do about it except taking drugs that messes with your hormones😔
I get constant compliments on my hair, but it keeps thinning more and more. I can't grow a beard, so I am screwed in a few years.
@@MMOfreakOUT1 you will be fine bro don’t worry man so many people lose hair and all their hair there’s millions just in your country alone imagine the whole world life isn’t fair but we are dealt with what we got and I started to realise life isn’t fair recently now started to place good habits and stop the bad habits in life
Go see a doctor that much hair loss that quickly can be signs of an underlying disease (im not a professional tho)
Honestly your protocol isnt optimal longterm imo (in Terms of effectivness and especially costwise). You should check out More Plates More Dates of Haircafe. 😊
Can you make a video on how to identify male pattern baldness and that its not just Hair Breakage due to lifestyle/actions or Maturing hair line?
You don’t look like you’re thinning but even if you are, I would go on finasteride to prevent further thinning and miniaturization. Minoxidil will on thicken the hair cosmetically but it will stop the loss hair or thinning of it. Your hair will continue to thin if you don’t address that component first.
"If I go bald, at least give me a beard"
Body: understood. Let's get to work "Prioritize ass hair"
I mean, I guess my issue is a little different, I don't like my hair atm as I'm seeing not my scalp, but silver hairs, and a lot of them, my dad is almost completely silver, but he didn't go for silver for a while, I'm only 22 and I see a fair bit of silver hair, I can't say I like it
Low iron levels are often associated (or it’s not uncommon, I should say) with those that experience premature greying. Might be worth looking into if you haven’t already
I feel you same has started to happen to me too and I am also 22, but my temples have gone back a little bit and it worries me but I might get a hair transplant in year or so

Great video Luca. Wondering if the minoxidil spray have any side effects? Is it true once you start using it, you can’t stop?
Yup
so i wash my hair once every 3-4 days (wednesday and sunday) but whenever i run my hand thru the hair i take it off and i see hair.. is this normal?
idk if i should be concerned about it or its normal..
whtas ur disocrd
You have to use finastride and minoxidil
Honestly hair loss was never something I worried about before, so I dont know what to compare my hair too.
I decided a year ago to grow my hair out. It's almost shoulder length now and I love it. But I'm also almost 34 and find myself obsessively checking my hair worried it's going to start thinning more or I'm going to suddenly be Bald. Legit it's consuming. It's nice to see these videos, just to let me know there might be an option
Bro I used to have the same full thick mediterranean mane but as with age it started to reduce in volume. I still have a full head of hair it is just not as thick and it seems it has lost "shape" like it never stays the way i put it unless I use very strong products. Also my hair is naturally straight and soft.
What about the side effect in finasteride ?
I've heard that it causes ED in men
@@rozain97 it's very rare that something like that can happen, dosing is very important when approaching this drug. Often you can achieve the same effects when smaller doses. 3mg a week can lower the chances of side effects by a lot compared to 7mg but it's different in everyone.
@@wanyebest4634 r u still using Fina? hw is ur hair condition now

That’s life for some. Good on you for speaking about it. At least you still got a strong hairline.
Your hair is literally fine. It’s completely normal for hair to become less dense when you reach your adulthood years, but it doesn’t mean you’re going bald. You still have a thick head of hair, just not as extremely dense as it was in your late teens and early twenties. This video seems like a scam.
Amen!
Would love to know if you're still using the same products and a update video
Your hairline is amazing
Very good vid Luca! Much love from me and Lucie
On the pictures you show there is not even balding. My longer hair looks the same and i have normal hair loss.
I don’t want to use mixidil since you cannot maintain its gains when you stop using it.
Any recommended alternatives for those not in the UK? Went to purchase but discovered Manual is UK only :(
It may or may not come in helpful for anyone out there. Have a great day !
bro im worring about my long hair.. my hair looks like 0:24 almost exatcly the same. the same scalp looking and thing.. im only 15 should i be worried about it?
So I’m 20 rn, and I have Asian-like hair (thick and often a little oily). My Dad has very thin hair and has some balding. Should I start right now?
I wish I ever had hair like your "thinning" version =D
Bro are you gonna use minoxidil forever ?
Well done, young Luca bello regazzo! Reckon you've fodder for at least another fifty or sixty years of videos now! All love and kindness.....
What your doing is great, but you really need to hop on propecia, cause minoxidil really works for a couple of years. Btw I'm a diffuse thinner too, good hairline just reduced density and thats why I grew my hair out too.
He is taking Finasteride. Finasteride won’t work well for him if he intends to keep his same hair density past 40-50. Dutasteride is what he needs as he is balding young since 21 now 23 with noticeable diffused thinning.
@@extremisttotheextremeantid7554 Dude 40-50 is 20-30 years from now. No one has the same density for life. Every guy loses hair, just some more than others. Vanity stops being important in your mid 30s when your priorities change. 2/3men experiece some hairloss by the age of 35 and 93% of men will expirience it at some point or another. So enjoy the hair you have, try to maintain it while you can, and when all else fails remember it's not the most important thing in the world.

@@fbj1223 24, been losing hair since 20. His case is completely different from me. He is very very lightly diffused thinning with full thick density. My case is completely different, I have full on male pattern baldness and if I don’t get this under control, I will have a horseshoe by 35 like my older brother. His case doesn’t require the heavy stuff, maybe if it gets worse, a low dose of Finasteride is all he will ever need. I need Dutasteride 0.5mg and high dosage of Ru58841 daily and even then, it will only slow the process and I will inevitably have to get a transplant if I want to maintain decent hair in my 50s and 60s.
