The daily Shampoo I use is Paraben, alcohol, SLES, SLS, and cruelty free and yes there is a difference from before, I also started using a compatible conditioner everyday (something I never did before). I also would use the same brand shampoo but deep cleaning (has sulfate) once a week IF needed to clear out any product buildup if any. My hair is short all around but long on top and honestly cant imagine not shampooing everyday unless I sat home all day without leaving the house or doing anything physical.
Possible short term solution when you overwashed your hair but need a quick fix Use a bit more conditioner or use a hair oil after the shower while the hair is still wet and let it airdry Unironically blumaans cloud control works pretty well as long as you dont do this too often
Would appreciate a link to the study you mentioned at the beginning! Sounds to me like the study only talks about how the participants feel and not about the actual health of their hair and scalp. And, understandably, if you wash your hair every day you might feel really great since you never have to deal with the repercussions of doing it (such as the ones you mentioned in the video) while the overall health of your hair/scalp may suffer.
Statistics can be manipulated to reach a more favorable outcome so right to point out who is conducting the reserch. Also the sensory sensation of washing your hair makes you feel better so it would impact the research. Completely agree that it important to know your own hair. Another great video 🥰

If your hair is dry it’s fine to do that once in a while but don’t forgo shampoo for long periods of time. That can cause scalp issues, buildup & prevent your hair from being moisturized and absorbing the benefits of the products applied. Use a clarifying shampoo every week.

I know the feeling of somehow feeling cleaner after having shampooed one's hair, but also what it means to shampoo your hair daily and get problems with frizz etc for my hair's dark blonde by nature, currently light-blondely dyed and therefore rather sensitive and dry/ thin// more likely to get affected by frizz or hair breakage anyway. My personal solution is to * first realize that of course using less shampoo doesn't mean to wash one's hair more rarely (Of course you can use clear water to wash off sweat and so on every day which also removes any possible bad odours effectively ;-)). * Second, if I feel like "water only" isn't sufficient, I use conditioners or hair masks without shampooing my hair before. These also somehow clean the hair without making it dryer or more likely to break. And it's easier to style, afterwards. (By the way, I've come to your channel because of your "awkward stage hair length" video. I'm a female, my hair's wavy by nature and currently I'm at exactly this stage of hair growth^^. Had a buzzcut followed by an undercut and pixie cut before and now want my hair to be bob length again which is really annoying sometimes due to my stubborn hair structure in combination with the slowly-growing out bleach... Just believe me, there are many bad hair days in my life, currently :D ..However one just HAS to be patient, I know...) * And third, I've discovered dry shampoos as a "bridging" solution between two hair washes. They contain rice starch to remove sebum (That applies to all of these products regardless of the brand!), and in addition at least MY hair gets more volume. The only negative aspect is these articles might be perfumed in a strange way... I'm 38 years old and the dry shampoo I currently use (the brand's name is "Batiste Naturally" ) rather smells like for elderly ladies (Which, by the way, however, I'm sure these kind of products have originally been developed for!! For people who just cannot wash their hair as often as they want because of mobility problems etc. So not a big surprise, really, the scent is accordingly...) Nonetheless I have to admit you rub off the dry particles again after use which also makes the scent go away. Not entirely, though, but remarkably and sufficiently :D * I agree with Luca that finding the right shampoo might be adventurous: In the meantime I prefer those making just very little foam for I've learned that much foam is said to bring damage to the hair structure. (If anyone's interested, right now I use the keratine series of the brand "ahuhu organic hair care".) I contrast to this, for instance my father's perfectly happy with the discouter shampoo from the ALDI private label (By the way, I was using this myself for many years when my hair'd been still longer, so before the buzz cut, and I was satisfied with it back then, as well! Right now, though, I feel like needing something different.) * So, guys (and maybe there are also some more ladies than me around here^^): In some way, it is always about "trial and error" and finding out what's best for oneself. There's not "THE" only perfect solution. Finally, thank you, Luca, for sharing your experience with hair issues of all kind. I'm sure most people have known one or the other problem theirselves, and just to know they're not the only ones feeling a certain way is pretty much of a relieve (In Germany we say: "Geteiltes Leid ist halbes Leid" which approximately means "sharing one's trouble makes it half as bad") Greetings from Berlin, Germany 😎
Living in SEA I can guarantee that you will not survive on anything more than 2 days without washing your hair using shampoo. I't hot, humid, dusty and polluted. Your hair will beg for a wash after half a day spent outside. It gets to the point you can physically smell your own hair odor.
I've been growing my hair since November 2019... ... Huh, that was a long time ago. Anyway, I've always enjoyed your content and found it helpful during my hair growth journey, especially during my awkward stage. I think I'm going to go back to short hair soon though. I've enjoyed my time with my long hair, something I've wanted ever since I was a child, but I've noticed my hairline is receding. :/

* And third, I've discovered dry shampoos as a "bridging" solution between two hair washes. So not a big surprise, really, the scent is accordingly...)
Nonetheless I have to admit you rub off the dry particles again after use which also makes the scent go away. Not entirely, though, but remarkably and sufficiently :D
* I agree with Luca that finding the right shampoo might be adventurous: In the meantime I prefer those making just very little foam for I've learned that much foam is said to bring damage to the hair structure. (If anyone's interested, right now I use the keratine series of the brand "ahuhu organic hair care".)
I contrast to this, for instance my father's perfectly happy with the discouter shampoo from the ALDI private label (By the way, I was using this myself for many years when my hair'd been still longer, so before the buzz cut, and I was satisfied with it back then, as well! Right now, though, I feel like needing something different.)
* So, guys (and maybe there are also some more ladies than me around here^^): In some way, it is always about "trial and error" and finding out what's best for oneself.
There's not "THE" only perfect solution.
Finally, thank you, Luca, for sharing your experience with hair issues of all kind. I'm sure most people have known one or the other problem theirselves, and just to know they're not the only ones feeling a certain way is pretty much of a relieve (In Germany we say: "Geteiltes Leid ist halbes Leid" which approximately means "sharing one's trouble makes it half as bad")
Greetings from Berlin, Germany 😎

Bro just donate those hair for the cancer patients so that anybody could just get help from your hair brother 😇😇😊.... Well it seems you are from India and you can do that easily in India
@@anubhavkhatri5500 Currently that's the plan. Just trying to figure out how to do it. :D
@@galahad38 sure bro I did it recently 4 days ago and if you need any of the help relating the same feel free to ask bro😊😊😇
@@anubhavkhatri5500 bro i have long hair down there
Would it help?
@@anubhavkhatri5500 I decided to come back here and say I did actually donate my hair! :D It felt good. Cut off as close to the scalp as possible, then got my head shaved clean. I miss my hair, but I feel good about the donation. I also have psoriasis, so Idk how much longer I could've taken the itchiness.
It really just hit me how mainstream x is now
