I haven't seen any other wig reviewer on here who goes into such great, in depth practical tutorials. I hope you're subs sky rocket because you deserve to have many more viewers
Don't throw away wigs! Some part of old wigs could be used to add bangs to a hat or bandana, etc. I cringe when I read a wig review online and they say that the wig was so bad that they threw it in the trash. We can use parts of them for additional uses.
Absolutely! I have a box FULL of "project" wigs that I just know will find a use someday... as I gain new skills and learn how to do things I just know one of those will be needed for something. That is a video idea for SURE!
I totally agree, do NOT understand people telling others to steam a new wig DAILY when a hot brush will do fine! Can’t trust what people post is the lesson here!!
I learn so much from you -I could watch these types of helpful, informative tips all day ;) I learn something every time -you’re an angel for doing this and I thankyou so very much! There sure was a before and after *it looks fabulous!
I have this wig and was afraid to play with it ….well after watching your video i am going to order a steamer! Thanks for this! And that wig style and color looks fantastic on you ❤
I appreciate how you show in real time it's more helpful and fun to watch good job Denise. I'm so looking forward to seeing you style a wavy/curly I know that won't be for a while so no pressure. I'm a curly girl. I'd like to see more plucking the hairline of a wig more extensive 💝
You really show the steps, and I appreciate it. Sooo encouraging. If we didn't think we could do it before, you certainly help us believe we can do it now! Thank you! I have one that I thought might need to go, so I've nothing to lose to try out this technique.
YAY! I'm so glad you found it helpful and you are absolutely right.... when a wig gets so bad you can't wear it anymore, then it is a PERFECT practice wig... and who knows, you might just rehab it enough to wear it again!
This particular wig, Eve by JR, has an issue with the nape. It wears out too fast and starts sticking out away from the neck looking embarrassingly wiggy. Do you have this issue? I couldn’t see your back.
You look amazing in those pink plum colours and that hair colour. I think I like it even better than when you wear red tone hair and I love you in those!
Hey Denise! I just wanted to recommend a tool that I absolutely love for styling my heat friendly wigs. I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but it's the Le Duo by L'ange. It's like a flat iron with a cooling barrel around it...it cools the curls immediately as you curl it! It makes putting in some curls and waves easy peasy lemon breezy!! Let me know if you need a link or anything to check it out! It should be very easy to find though!
I actually have one, I tried it once and it did not work at all for me. I really need to dedicate some time to practicing. I really struggle using a flat iron to put curls in wigs, I end up putting weird crimps in them and can't quite figure out what I am doing wrong.
@@heywigsister aww, I'm sorry! Watch tutorials on how to use it with human hair. We really had no idea if it would work but my hairdresser tried it first on an Ignite that I found on clearance and it was soooo easy!! After we watched some videos lol I always do better on my left side than on my right for some reason. But it does take some practice. Hope you can figure it out!
Very helpful !) I am wondering a lace front.. I have one.. not worn it yet tho.. but they must wear out.. how do I get it back in shape from being frilly. ?? I've seen some use picking shears to make them less visible also.. im wondering does heat shrink them back to hshape ? 🤷♀️
Hi, I currently own a hf hair topper by Jon renau, I noticed it looks full of hair products and needs to be washed, do I wash it first? Then steam? Or wash and hair dry? Also what products do you recommend to wash my topper with? Also do you have a video on how to wash my topper?
Hi!! I think you should wash it first and then air dry it.... THEN you can take steam to it. It should dry REALLY fast, like in an hour. Unfortunately I don't have ANY videos specific to toppers (YET, I am working on fixing that)... but this video showing you how to wash a synthetic wig is exactly how I would wash a synthetic topper as well. In the description of that video I list my favorite products to wash and condition and there are also links included. ua-cam.com/video/z3UduFI0msg/v-deo.html

Hi Denise. Where can I purchase a decent wig? I like the curly bob you're wearing.
Excellent and a very helpful “how to” video Denise! Thank you so much 😊
I only steam straight my wig after I wash and comb it through

what about rehabbing a wig that isn't heat friendly? thanks
You can use a clothing steamer for that as well!
Do you ever sale your old wigs?
Hi Denise I’m new to wigs and I was just wondering can you use a steamer on a non heat friendly wig? Love all you videos ❤
Have you washed it prior to steaming? How often do you wash your wigs?
Love the redfish/curly wig on you!!! Romano? 10/20/23
you're so sweet. thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts ❤️

Great informative video...Im learning a degree in Wiggery ha ha! 🎉😅
Is there a tutorial for using steam on a non heat friendly wig? I don’t want to destroy my new wig that really needs some help. Thanks
I don't have one but if you search Steam a Wig on UA-cam you should find one... I do the exact same thing I do with heat friendly when I use steam.
Girl Mono in that red color I just love on you.
Thank you so much!
Do you have a video using steam rollers on a wig?
No, I've never tried that before.
How would you rehab a non heat friendly synthetic?
You are just so adorable thank you. You are sweet, patient, informative and humble. ❤
Thank you so much, Jenn! Sending you hugs!

Im in Scotland so cannot buy on your USA amazon. 😔
Oh, what a bummer. Maybe your Amazon has something similar?
Thanks!
GOSH, Lisa! Thank you so much!! This just made my day!
What about a synthetic wig that is not heat friendly?
You can use steam on those as well! Steam is a miracle tool for all synthetic wigs!
