Mindfulness in CBT took me from too psychotic and paranoid to move a muscle out of bed to being the only truly emotionally relaxed person most people I know has ever met.

I firmly believe people don't know what therapy actually is. Everyone can always benefit a check in regardless of mental state

A positive & "forced" technique for mindfulness is to set up 5-8 hour guided meditation with Affirmations, or even upbeat music, brain wave frequencies, sounds of nature, etc. that continuously play in the background of your home, or space to consistently redirect your thoughts, ego, conscious, unconscious, & eventually your subconscious mind for a less negative, and toxic, mentality.
Why "try" when you can simply be "exposed to" Mantras & Affirmations, or positivity, without having to remind yourself to do so?
    Have fun with it.

@@DocSnipes Seriously most of the lectures in this field are quite wooden but the way you describe it all is excellent. Thank YOU

You mention that a person wants to have a part if the day where one wants not to be caught up in this exercise but rather reach a goal. Could you explain or say where in the lecture I can fund it again?

I prefer to see meditation 🧘🏼‍♀️ as "Self-hypnosis" which is a more worthy endeavor & quite empowering.

Good info. Wondering if AllCEUs is a “one-therapist” organization. It seems that the same person does ALL the seminars. She is good, but it would be better to have different presenters with different expertise, experience, and presentation style to present.

Curious; why irritating? I suppose her cadence is a little bothersome, is that what it is?
