The WASR 10 is a great CQB with a 3-4 MOA. Slap on a holo sight, magpul furniture and a 2-3lb G2 tapco and this could clear buildings, defend a home, etc all day long. I would trust this gun with my life because it's reliable even with the cheapest steel case ammo!!!
Well I feel you indeed explained very well why you purchased a CAI WASR 10. I think you made a fine purchase. The QC has dramatically improved at CAI over the past few years and the WASR has always been one of the most Underrated firearms in history. If you were to offer me a choice if an Arsenal or a WASR I would pick the Arsenal for 1 reason and 1 reason only. So I could sell it, Buy a WASR, A couple thousand rounds and some magazines and have enough left over to have a nice meal for my Wife and I at a fine restaurant. For a SHTF combat rifle all you need is a rifle that will hit a man sized Target at will out to 300 yards and a rifle that you can hit a sub 3" group at 100 yards. A WASR will do that just as good as any other AK. While I would never engage anyone at 300 yards the fact that the person who may be a threat to me knows my AK can easily get him at that range will more than likely end the conflict without the need for bloodshed. Also survival ( TRUST ME ) is not what you see on TV. Any clothing, equipment, Yourself and firearms are going to be stressed out from a physical stand point. It will be comforting to know that no matter what region or season in this world you live in when the unthinkable happens, Your AK will be 1 thing you DON'T have to be Concerned with. Not a CAI WASR 10 for damn sure.
Good Video....I bought my WASR about 18 months ago @ gunshow.....got no where close to the awesome deal you got, but I love it, no regrets here. I've learned a lot from this video that I didn't know about my AK, however I believe mine would review very similarly to yours I think, I have exact same. I've been using a red dot site and had absolutely no trouble zeroing in @ 50yds (50yrds is the longest any accessible gun range to me, will allow AK platform to shoot....I've shot farther in the field but only proven @ the range) I'm good marksman with it, and most rifles in general. After watching your video, with regards to the canted sites on the WASR, I've never really used the irons, went straight to red dot. Now I want to put it in the shop and have my gunsmith apply his diligence to the sights. I had thought about attempting myself, but I think you're right, as I was close to attempting doing some of the same things you mentioned in your video, as far as removing those pins. As mentioned I have the red dot and its great, with the quick release lever on the side mount bracket I can pull that red dot off in seconds and bump fire away....always holds zero even with quick release lever as opposed to screws, but I cant bump when I have it mounted, so I need to get my irons right.
i got my ras47 before doing any research. turns out i got the 1 that got heat treated properly, its actually a fantastic shooter when its not blowing up in your face. i would never buy another tho, should of got a WASR
Sorry,I should've watched the whole video before asking the question, you already answered it,thanks buddy,I just subscribed,I'm trying to decide which ak47 to purchase around the $800 mark.
I have a wasr 10/63 made in 1976 my dad bought it for $300 in the early 2000's. Came with the Chinese metal mags and surplus mag pouch and bayonet. It has a wobbly mag well and the bolt sometimes sticks when dry but when you shoot it it never jams unless the ammo sucks. I suggest putting a dog leg pin bracket for the trigger pins. They come with a paperclip like wire and over time your trigger pins will back off and your trigger will fall off.
dude. you got a pretty good deal..I payed 605. plus tax at a gun show for mine. and I didn't get a cleaning kit or sling or a cleaning rod. but" I'm still very happy with my wasr. great buy.
I bought a new production WASR 10 back in 2015 as a Xmas gift to myself and it had extraction issues right away. Turned out the extractor was junk. I didn't realize that until I ordered a new extractor and spring from Apex. Its been great ever since
I bought a new WASR and it is awesome. The wood is beautiful and the metal is well finished. We shot 300 rounds off Tulammo and Wolf through it with zero hangups. We hit center mass on a human torso target at 75 yards with no problem. Rob and Paul ar AK Operators Union took this gun out to 300 yards no problem. The only con was you better clean the metal shavings out before your first use and I would smooth out the action. Plenty of UA-cam videos on how to do that. Great gun.
i bought mine as soon as the new production came out.. So glad i got it, ive run 700 rounds through it no issue what so ever. The rifle just runs, not the prettiest but def runs.
I just got a vepr I had a wasr for a few years and it got me hooked on AK's I love the fact you can't stop them. People say they aren't as accurate of a rifle as some. but I've been shooting guns for 20 years so I just tell them they need to learn how to aim.
I bought two, one had just a bit of front sight lean but otherwise both ware well made. Rivets seated properly, magwells good, typical AK accuracy and function. My one gripe is the metal finish, it scratches and comes off easily, I'm doing both in Durakote and adding Magpul Zhukov stock to one.
WASR stands for 'What A Sexy Rifle'. That's all I know. Meanwhile $1000+ SLR-107 is rusting and choking WASR 10 is still shooting anything I feed to it like a champ.
Good video. You said your Yugo was starting to look like an AR with everything but you put all that Zhukov furniture on your WASR. Your rifle, your choice. Just thought that was interesting.
There are 2 ways to fix a WASR with canted sights. You can spend $80-90 bucks and an RPK machine gun sight, has elevation and windage adjustment, It'll drop right into your WASR 10/63 and WASR 10..... Another option os to remove the pins in the front sight block,, use a laser bore slighter to position the front post in a centered rear sight. Then drill into the side of the block and into the side of the end of the barrel, drive the pin into the wall of the barrel so it protrudes into the path of the bullet, then dremmel out the last half inch if the bore so the pins don't stick out inside the barrel. This is the best method to center the front sight block. You sacrifice the last half inch of rifling to clear the pins out of the bore, but the front sight is perfectly straight.
Nice WASR but man I hate that Magpul furniture. I put some beautiful Russian laminate with a bakelite grip. Not only is it comfortable but looks really good. I'm a traditionalist though
Robert Smith I hate the blond wood on some of these rifles , I'm afraid to order one on line because I'm not sure what color wood furniture I'll get , I don't wanna start out having to change the wood , and I really think the blond wood looks awful .
I bought a Arsenal SAM that's gas tube busted on me on a mag dumb ( probably a manufacture quality issue idk?) but I sold it and ordered the GP wasr 10 from buds to, heard this gun can take a beating, nice bro! Hope mine comes with all the extras,My Arsenal certainly did not. Century arms is stepping up.
I see you have the bayonet lug on there, but they did,'t give you the bayonet? I was lucky with my Wasrs, they both had the bayonet, but no cleaning kit. Had to get that online... It always seems hit or miss what you're going to get as far as accessories go with the Wasr. Both of mine are good quality older models, and its nice to see Century has upped their game with the newer Wasrs...
got the same gun at same time as you- did $290 UPGRADES magpul zhukov stock/troy industries rail ak rail handguard long bottom/ALG Defense AK Trigger best upgrade / definitivearms fighter muzzle brake - love it / my buddy has a $1800 Ak and he said it dosn't shoot as smooth as my set up
I bought century arms ras 47- zhukov. Havent shot it yet but after my purchase i found out about the feedback saying that this gun sucked. Can you give me your experienced with yours.
I've owned two and sold them both. Not really a bad rifle, however I am over 6 feet tall and the rifles as I later found out were both below 35 inches in length. This made it hard to line up. Basically, the guns were too short. No issues otherwise.
+Dusty Zen Just picked up on Friday, looks good, no canted sights. Some of the rivets are "flat" on top instead of rounded but that won't affect it. Came with everything stated in the video, sling, cleaning kit, two magpul mags and cleaning rod. Looks like these are brand new construction, not surplus...These are manufactured by Romarm/Cugir, Curgir is the small arms division of Romarm which is the state arms manufacturer for the Romanian military...so this is actually an AKM made by a military arms manufacturer, not easy to get an actual European cold hammer forged chrome-lined military barrel, that alone IMO makes these worth getting... Paid $578.99 +$30 shipping, $609 out the door...6 months ago these were about $50 less, thats what I get for waiting I guess...The NPAP was $40 more but doesn't have a chrome-lined barrel, they weigh more and after market parts aren't as widely available, for the money I'd say even though the WASR 10 is a bit overpriced IMO its the best AKM currently out there. That video RobSki did seals the deal on these... I really wanted the Romanian RH-10 which is nothing more than a modified WASR 10 but they are WAY overpriced, I'm not going to pay $800 just because it has an integrated front sight and gas block...which is really the only main difference between it and the WASR 10, they are made by the same company... The barrels made in the US are not cold hammer forged barrels and are "softer", the equipment needed to manufacture cold hammer forged barrels is very expensive which is why no one in the US makes them. It'll probably be a while before I can get to the range though, but at least I got one before they disappear, if you know what I mean...
The new production WASR's model's are great!,now the older "part's kit type's that were imported under the Clinton admin & it was a mixed match batch, some good, some bad, the new one's are great, sad to say but.. even better than the "American one's" (i.e)RAS47 with their metalurgey problem's & head spacing issue's,the I.O. INC AK247 with shearing bolt's & rubber shock absorber's had to be installed so they would not lockup in the rear position,DDI's milled reciever,American barrel, then a bulgarian part's kit internal's which some were beating themselve's to piece's like the RAS47! clearly finding their sweetspot of profit& quality is very hard to find in an American build, sorry to say,the American build's are generally ok,However the (one little thing wrong) with most of them, keep's me from purchasing one!!!...
The Yugo and other variants just suck because they are not traditional Eastern Euro mil-spec . The best AKs are the WASR 10/63 or WARS-10 and also the SAIGA Arsenal imports from the original Russian AK plant or the VEPR, also Russian. As these are mil-spec AK47s. So the options in the accessories market is top notch.
That's awesome, but the accessories on that gun is limited to Polish parts,,, A WASR, WASR GP or SAIGA are clones of the base, Russian mil-spec AK47s and thus the options are many on the upgrades,, that's what I like.
So many AK47 variants, and some of them are really good,,, but my standard is what is mil-spec,,, that would be what is true to the original design... not that there aren't some good variants,,, but it's nice to be able to pick up some surplus AK47 parts and integrate them into my guns,,, you are limited by what a manufacturer makes for their gun when you buy a variant.
The M70 is a true mil spec AK though. The M70 AK series has been around since 1970, and is one of the most popular military AK's still in production today. The Iraqi's use them, and make their own version known as the Tobuk, and Serbia makes and exports a lot of them. It's just a modified version. On the civilian market though the aftermarket is pretty limited. Never really mattered for me much since I'm a bare bones, iron sights rifle kind of guy. The standard AKM pattern was made by Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary, Romania, East Germany, and a few other nations. All AKM variants should be interchangeable for most of their parts, with perhaps minor exceptions for barrels (Romanian AK's are slightly thiner barreled than some other AKM's). There's so many cool AKM styles out there. :)
By mil-spes I mean that the receiver and barrel threads take the standard parts, like the flash break, stocks, rear sight ramp, etc.,,, The Saiga and the WASR are able to share most parts with a mil-spec AK47. Of course the internals are not interchangeable,,, each manufacturer alters stuff.,,, But the accessories will fit. Not like the Polish, or Chinese that have their own specs on accessories. Mostly the Russian, Bulgarian and Romanian will fit the same stocks, flash break, triggers, and usually the machine cover,, stuff like that.
they do have a better stock set for the yugos if you look at the yugo N PAP rifles at atlantic firearms they have a smaller stock then the N PAP rifle that you are talking about what you are talking about is the ones that come with the rubber pad and i think that stock is ment to have an optic mounted to the rifle but yeah you can get a regular warsaw pac length stock for the yugo rifles that will feel just like a standard akm stock is pretty dumb how the N PAP rifles have that long bolt that runs through the stock like that to mount the stocks my guess is tho they just wanted to have a different product
~Why did I buy a Century Arms VSKA? I believe the S7 Steel they are using on this Rifle works. ~My Nitrated Barrel is fine with me since I don't shoot corrosive ammo. ~I do not hang anything on the front of my AK Rifles. It's NOT intended to be a Scout Rifle.
Armedcitizen76 you have a very lovely looking WASR, but it appears for some reason the WASR's aren't being shipped with all correct accessories. Now this could because of the state the rifle is being shipped too. Another WASR own received one Magpul magazine, no sling, bayonet, and like you no trapdoor in the buttstock for the cleaning kit. When I bought mine it came with two steel magazine's, cleaning rod, cleaning kit with the trapdoor in the buttstock, one bayonet with sheath, and a sling. The WASR 10 and all of it's accessories and hardware are based on the Russian AKM when Romania was part of the Warsaw Pact.
Dang! Sounds like you got the motherlode of accessories with yours. I got two mags (one steel, one Tapco) and a bayonet. Had to get the cleaning kit, the cleaning rod, and a sling online...
+@Jodi it 's sad that Century are not shipping all the correct assories with the WASR's. I am not sure if it's because of different states requirements or if Century is just trying to keep their over head down
The cleaning kit also has all the tools needed for the AKM. The reason Century are shipping some WASR's without the trapdoor in the buttstock and without the cleaning kit is beyond me, but its unfair to the customer
They make a site kit that has windage adjustment on the rear site. That's the set up Lord willing I'm going to go with so I don't have to move My front site anymore I can just change windage from the back.
that's the 2015 wasr I got one this year also. they are great rifles no mag wable at all its actually tight, my father has a 08 model a & it wables pretty bad. I polished my action carrier and the inside of the weapon its smooth as Fuck
actually you didn't get a slot in the buttstock for the cleaning kit is because you got the blond stock. The laminate stock has the slot. i know because that's what i got
Does buds still send them out with sling and cleaning tool or cleaning rod? Im ab to get one and I’ve been looking at some websites. I read somewhere that century arms doesn’t send them out with two magazines anymore.
I'm putting a Zhukov on a Romanian Wasr and a magpul moe hand guard because the Zhukov is longer and I'd have to remove my front sling mount to make it fit.
The difference is between recreational shooters and completion shooters.basic ak,s and ar15 are fine out the box.the only time you need to make spendy mods is if you are a competition shooter or a operator.people worry about performance and start changing shit on a rifle that is ready to perform out of the box .I mean I can see upgrading your bcg or barrel.even trigger.even tho it's not needed.but hey to each there own it's your money.
how can you tell the new production wasr from the old stuff?please advise. ...does the colored bolt charger mean newer?I need help before I buy one...please
+skiggy007 Yes, we do the best aks along with the russians. The WASR rifle is manufactured at the Cugir sewing machine factory. The sewing machines are named Ileana, but that doesn't matter. Besides the mag wabble and some sights issues the rifle is so good. In Romania our WASR costs more than a house so stop calling them "Cheap like ak" !
Laurențiu, let's be serious, you're not allowed to own assault rifles in Romania, but $1000 won't buy you the doorstep of a house in any city. Even the shittiest place, if it is functional, costs a lot more, and in cities like Bucharest a very modest one room apartment in a decent area starts from 30000 euros. So the WASR would be affordable for many but 1. you're allowed only hunting rifles (you could squeeze in a sniper like rifle there, but not an assault one, even reduced to semi automatic mode; maybe a carbine, maybe, it depends) 2. we don't have the American tradition of militias and we rely entirely, like most of the Europeans (Swiss excepted) on the regular army with no war capable weapons held at home. A bad idea, I admit, would be much better to have an armed citizenry, but that's how it is.
you downgraded because you didn't like the furniture? those could have easily have been replaced. I like the Zhukov too, I'm almost positive Magpul will be making it for the Yugos soon. Also it's only the top gas tube cover of the Zhukov furniture that won't fit the Yugo, but the bottom handguard can be fitted. and you can just run an ultimac as your gas tube. just my shitty opinion.
Wasr is closely compared to Arsenal for reliability. If you can't afford an Arsenal then buy a Wasr. The other Ak platforms don't even come close to high round counts.
why not get a vepr? they are running 699 dollars. just curious why the wasr over others, even some ddi offerings are in the price range. you seem to know what your talking about, id like to get your opinion
if i could find one and wanted to spend the money i would get a kalashnikov...but for a budget ak47m the npap and opaps are the best buy but the magpul handguard wont fit...so i went with a time proven work horse the wasr especially quality control is much better now.
6 years later and now seen as one of the best beginner AKs held in high regard lol
Wasr gang stand up. My Wasr 10/63 is excellent and goes bang every time.
+Universal Law wasr 10 represent !!
7.62 WAR DADDY salute!
***** wasr's are solid rifles I trust my life with mines.
The WASR 10 is a great CQB with a 3-4 MOA. Slap on a holo sight, magpul furniture and a 2-3lb G2 tapco and this could clear buildings, defend a home, etc all day long. I would trust this gun with my life because it's reliable even with the cheapest steel case ammo!!!
skojo3e I'm really considering a folding iron stock to help with CQB, the 1 I want is a bit pricey.
Mine is dead on sighted in from the factory. No mag wobble, and all rivets look good. Really happy with this one! 2017 production
Just stumbled upon this while doing some research. you managed to address every single one of my concerns/questions! Fantastic vid! Thanks!
Well I feel you indeed explained very well why you purchased a CAI WASR 10.

Not a CAI WASR 10 for damn sure.
best ak i ever owned never jammed feeds any ammo no canted sights and accurate all ak parts fit perfect and no mag wobble...
Just bought one today.. after selling my RAS47😅
Century laser bore sighted the rifles already it should be zerod out of the box, that was my experience
Good Video....I bought my WASR about 18 months ago @ gunshow.....got no where close to the awesome deal you got, but I love it, no regrets here. I've learned a lot from this video that I didn't know about my AK, however I believe mine would review very similarly to yours I think, I have exact same.

When he said wasr stand for what a shitty rifle I fell out laughing 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Wasr = better than Ras 47
+Ad Meliora anything is better than that pos and I do mean the ras47
yes wasr better. check out ak operators union vid on ras. pos.
Ad Meliora amen. 1000 times better. New Wasrs are legit
i got my ras47 before doing any research. turns out i got the 1 that got heat treated properly, its actually a fantastic shooter when its not blowing up in your face. i would never buy another tho, should of got a WASR
I own both, see no difference in performance. RAS47 and WASR 10 both had problems; but only on the early ones.
I just bought a new one as well! This is my 3rd one, but my 1st new production, and I can say it blows the old one out of the water!
I just picked up a used one today for 519. It doesn't appear to have been shot much either. Good video!
I have a wasr and also use to have an npap and like you I didn't care for the npap furniture. I love my wasr. It's been nothing but reliable
Good choice! These are probably the best Kalashnikovs for the money in the USA these days.
Sorry,I should've watched the whole video before asking the question, you already answered it,thanks buddy,I just subscribed,I'm trying to decide which ak47 to purchase around the $800 mark.

just sold my decked out wasr10 I had for 9 years for $850. Buying a new gen next week. LOL
LOLOLOL the RH10?
Grim Aka Statik yup...$ame here..
Which model should I get is the ak better. Than a ar I just want reliability!?
I just got a vepr I had a wasr for a few years and it got me hooked on AK's I love the fact you can't stop them. People say they aren't as accurate of a rifle as some. but I've been shooting guns for 20 years so I just tell them they need to learn how to aim.
I needed to get a new AK before they can't be purchased new because the new laws..
i just got my " new model" wasr. fit and finish is really nice and the furniture is really nice too. very happy with it. 4/9/16.
2:02 real bad cheek slap lol
Great pickup. They are the best deal for the price.
Would love to see video of range results on this gun. Thanks for the unboxing!
I beat my sights with a rubber mallet
I love my WASR. It is just as good as any stamped Arsenal but for way less. Such an underrated rifle.
Go Wasr awesome rifle. Rugged, reliable, and just a lot of fun.
WASR stands for 'What A Sexy Rifle'. That's all I know. Meanwhile $1000+ SLR-107 is rusting and choking WASR 10 is still shooting anything I feed to it like a champ.

Yea the russian dark laminated red wood looks good
Robert Smith I like red wood but I like my aks tacted the fuck out in the right way ofcourse.
So the old 1970s russian surplus furniture will fit right up to a new generation WASR-10?
Yes
I bought a Arsenal SAM that's gas tube busted on me on a mag dumb ( probably a manufacture quality issue idk?) but I sold it and ordered the GP wasr 10 from buds to, heard this gun can take a beating, nice bro! Hope mine comes with all the extras,My Arsenal certainly did not. Century arms is stepping up.
Great vid. I have been weighing between a Wasr and yugo npap. This helps tip the scale a bit.
+PrepperSource I have both and couldn't ask for better "starters."....WASR is easier to customize than is the Yugo.
I'd like to see this rifle with the furniture
I see you have the bayonet lug on there, but they did,'t give you the bayonet? I was lucky with my Wasrs, they both had the bayonet, but no cleaning kit. Had to get that online... Just ordered one today cant wait to get it
Also replace thr shepards hook with a tapco retainer plate or use E clips to keep the trigger and hammer pin in.
Please make a video with all the aftermarket parts you bought installed on the Ak?
great review just subbed
got the same gun at same time as you- did $290 UPGRADES magpul zhukov stock/troy industries rail ak rail handguard long bottom/ALG Defense AK Trigger best upgrade / definitivearms fighter muzzle brake - love it / my buddy has a $1800 Ak and he said it dosn't shoot as smooth as my set up
SHERIFFWoody love the alg trigger. On my wasr10.
I bought century arms ras 47- zhukov. Havent shot it yet but after my purchase i found out about the feedback saying that this gun sucked. Can you give me your experienced with yours.
I always thought the cheek slap was from the slant break. I changed mine to the SLR single port muzzle break.
I've owned two and sold them both. Not really a bad rifle, however I am over 6 feet tall and the rifles as I later found out were both below 35 inches in length. This made it hard to line up. Basically, the guns were too short. No issues otherwise.
Good video brother...I just bought one online today from somewhere else for a little less...can't wait to get it...
+Oscar Delta had mine a year now. You wont be disappointed. Well made, and fun to fire.Whatever mistakes they made in the past are no longer present.
I'm a grown ass man... and he said stay away with buds gun shop
INC AK247 with shearing bolt's & rubber shock absorber's had to be installed so they would not lockup in the rear position,DDI's milled reciever,American barrel, then a bulgarian part's kit internal's which some were beating themselve's to piece's like the RAS47! clearly finding their sweetspot of profit& quality is very hard to find in an American build, sorry to say,the American build's are generally ok,However the (one little thing wrong) with most of them, keep's me from purchasing one!!!...
use "never dull" for everything and a dremell for the Action
The wooden furniture makes an AK-47 a classic!
the most satisfying video
Can't say I'm a fan of the new blonde furniture and pmag's. But mine didn't come with a bayonet lug. Got it in 2012.
So the options in the accessories market is top notch.
jodopeg the polish WBP survived the AK operator's Union's 5,000 round torture test so it's at least halfway decent
I bought a wasr today in a Identical box. I paid $699 b4 tax. I only got one magpul clip and no sling.
Any updates on the wasr 10 with the furniture upgrades? Just ordered mine online.
Thinking about getting one of those they're on sale right now for 699 kind of feel it that's a lot though
You sold a used Npap for 850?? Dam....highway robbery lol
POPJack1717 i sold a wasr 10 for 900 lol
Thanks for the video...hope you will make videos as you make the changes to this gun.
actually the rifle is in full zhukov furniture video to come!
I looked yesterday and the wasr 10 was 615 and I liked again today and it at 704 on the same site
they do have a better stock set for the yugos if you look at the yugo N PAP rifles at atlantic firearms they have a smaller stock then the N PAP rifle that you are talking about what you are talking about is the ones that come with the rubber pad and i think that stock is ment to have an optic mounted to the rifle but yeah you can get a regular warsaw pac length stock for the yugo rifles that will feel just like a standard akm stock is pretty dumb how the N PAP rifles have that long bolt that runs through the stock like that to mount the stocks my guess is tho they just wanted to have a different product
Got the zastava zpapm70 extended m-lok handguard version.. Looks like a space rifle. Dope af. 1500$ but dope. Zastava is the shit I trust them
~Why did I buy a Century Arms VSKA? I believe the S7 Steel they are using on this Rifle works.
~My Nitrated Barrel is fine with me since I don't shoot corrosive ammo.
~I do not hang anything on the front of my AK Rifles. It's NOT intended to be a Scout Rifle.
So how is it holding up? Was this one a keeper?
What is the model number of the rifle? Is it RI1805-N?
I recently purchased a Century Arms BFT47. I haven’t fired it yet. Can anyone give me some feedback about this rifle ?
Also have the trapdoor buttstock. I really like being able to keep the
kit with the rifle.
$10 for ffl fees?!?! in NJ you're luck to get charged $60
yep 5 for transfer and 5 for call in...
Any chance you still have the wood furniture and are willing to sell it?
Nice wasr. I need one
They make a site kit that has windage adjustment on the rear site. That's the set up Lord willing I'm going to go with so I don't have to move My front site anymore I can just change windage from the back.
If all the older WASR 10's were so shitty....Why are they hard to find at a good deal? They work!
Nice vid was this the gp wasr 10?
nice coke nail
Mr Meeseeks Lol that was funny as crap I noticed that just as I was reading your comment !
Mr Meeseeks lmfao
Snifffff...ahhh so much better now...
that's the 2015 wasr I got one this year also. they are great rifles no mag wable at all its actually tight, my father has a 08 model a
& it wables pretty bad. I polished my action carrier and the inside of the weapon its smooth as Fuck
Thinking about buying a wasr
actually you didn't get a slot in the buttstock for the cleaning kit is because you got the blond stock. The laminate stock has the slot. i know because that's what i got
Damn. Mine from Classic firearms only be with one clip and NOTHING else lol.🥺
Does buds still send them out with sling and cleaning tool or cleaning rod? Im ab to get one and I’ve been looking at some websites. I read somewhere that century arms doesn’t send them out with two magazines anymore.
Or the cleaning rod, CA doesn’t send that out anymore with the WASR’s!
I'm putting a Zhukov on a Romanian Wasr and a magpul moe hand guard because the Zhukov is longer and I'd have to remove my front sling mount to make it fit.
yeah i removed it and put the zhukov hand guard.
+ArmedCitizen76 ok I was wanting to make sure that what has to be done thanks and great video !!
What’s the with the *COKE NAIL*
Iv'e got a WASR-3 from 2006 that's perfectly straight. Looks rough as fuck, but the military models don't look any better.
So what's up with all that Magpul furniture? How's the fit?
Are these legal in North Carolina?
The difference is between recreational shooters and completion shooters.basic ak,s and ar15 are fine out the box.the only time you need to make spendy mods is if you are a competition shooter or a operator.people worry about performance and start changing shit on a rifle that is ready to perform out of the box .I mean I can see upgrading your bcg or barrel.even trigger.even tho it's not needed.but hey to each there own it's your money.
Hey bro could you do a video with the Magpul furniture on the WASR? Thanks
Gonna do a video this weekend on that.
ArmedCitizen76 thanks man I appreciate it. Please let me know when it's up
Do these fit standard ak furniture? Want to buy one but I can’t find info on whether it does or not.
yes
No slant brake?
Bayonet missing...first thing I'd purchase
Have you taken it to the range yet to sight it in and update like you indicated you would?
how can you tell the new production wasr from the old stuff?please advise. ...does the colored bolt charger mean newer?I need help before I buy one...please
Look at the numbers on the left side of the gun. the last two numbers after the dash are the year it was made.
spagilla13 thanks, any particular dates that are better than others, any date that you don't want?
May I suggest you spending about the same amount of money on a Zastava/Yugo. Better quality, better finish, more robust.
Cash Inc 90 I've never heard of it,I'm kinda new to the AK world,I've only owned ARs but thanks for the suggestion
The bolt charger just has a rubber cover over it for shipping. Underneath its all steel as usual.
Anyone know where I can get a wasr10? Sold out everywhere!!!
I gotten mine a week ago and I just then I bought a side leveled it out
What is the difference in this and the RAS47?
So these rifles are made in Romania? Century just imports them, correct?
yep
Yes
@@brianbigboy1000 and only a 1 year warranty too that is making me not want it .
Is the trunnion giving you problems?
you downgraded because you didn't like the furniture? those could have easily have been replaced.
The other Ak platforms don't even come close to high round counts.
why not get a vepr? they are running 699 dollars. just curious why the wasr over others, even some ddi offerings are in the price range. you seem to know what your talking about, id like to get your opinion
if i could find one and wanted to spend the money i would get a kalashnikov...but for a budget ak47m the npap and opaps are the best buy but the magpul handguard wont fit...so i went with a time proven work horse the wasr especially quality control is much better now.
thanks for the response
Yes
Man only had one magazine not even a gun lock
