The look on Greg Davies face when Bob did it was pure child like joy and wonder, glad to see that you are now apple parters this new found skill will no doubt impress and amaze your friends 😂✌❤🐦.
Bob Mortimer and long time friend Paul Whitehouse did the series "Gone Fishing" which is well worth watching in itself. There are some best bits which you could do a reaction to like "bobs questionable meals" - ua-cam.com/video/iMzskWB644E/v-deo.html
Always enjoy your channel. Especially love the comedian reactions. My two favorites are Sarah Millican and Michael McIntyre but there are so many great ones. There really is a never ending supply of comedy. Would love to see some of these people live! Watching from New Zealand and loving every reaction.😊
You're very close with the peeling the egg shells, you also put a tiny pin hole in the small end of the shell before boiling, once the cold water hits it, it makes peeling an egg so much simpler. A tea spoon is also excellent to peel them.
Jess, you have a "Carry On" film and 'Old Tyme Music Hall' sense of humour, very British, very London. Not to say other parts of the UK don't use innuendo, but it's very prevalent in London. 1950s, 60s and 70s UK comedian Frankie Howard was a master. There use to be a comic over here called Viz, which had a character and was titled 'Finbar Saunders (and his double entendres)' along with the 'Fat Slags', 'Johnny Fartpant' and 'Sid the sexist', it quickly became a cult.
Hiya. Yaaay, Jess for the win! It's difficult to pick a favourite apple, as there are 2,500 varieties in the UK alone and I haven't tried them all, but I'm pretty sure a Cox's Orange Pippin is a good one. Stay safe. All the best to you.
The trick to taking shells off hard boiled eggs is you roll them under your palm. Apply a little downward pressure, carefully. Just enough pressure to make the shell crack. Once it's cracked roll the egg under your palm until the whole shell is cracked. At the top of the egg is an air space. Remove the broken shell at the air space and you will be under the membrane. continue to peel.
I only buy Gala apples, although if I want to stew apples I would use cooking apples or in the autumn take fruit from a couple of trees which hang over my garden fence (with my neighbours’ permission!).
Mike, I have to tell you that women learn about innuendo from men. It doesn’t come naturally to us, it’s the male thought processes that we learn from you guys. I never thought like that for the first thirty years of my life, and then I got a job working with six guys and their jokes would go over my head, until I had them explained to me, and then for the next ten years, my mind was in the gutter. It was only after I left that job that their influence faded and I returned to my normal self.
It's surprisingly easy to do when you know how to do it. I saw a youtube video by Mike Boyd on how to do it some years ago. Bob is actually pretty spot on with his description. You just have to get a good grip on the apple, and pull away in both directions. Some apples are harder to use than others. Make sure the apple is a fairly good size, and it helps to wash them first (if they are covered in wax).
The apples you had were the perfect size, but you need to grip either side of the stalk with your drumsticks and pull side to side from the top. The fingers play no role other than holding the apple in place.
The trick to peeling the shell from and egg is to break from the bottom of the egg, there's a small air pocket at the bottom which allows you to break the membrane, once thats broken all the shell will come straight off
I hope he would be able to break an apple. My grandfather could do it and taught me to do it. It's not something that's crossed my mind for many years though - I don't like apples! 😀

Nooooo! Spoilers in that one. Do them in order 😉
Watch Joe Wilkinsons insane poem from 8 out of 10 cats do countdown 😂😂
ua-cam.com/video/x0eq7VNCcYY/v-deo.htmlsi=Daqh57eF-KqIT-Or
peeling a boiled egg, just roll it on a hard surface.
"Does your husband play cricket?". That line always cracks me up 😂
David wasn't even joking when he said giants. Greg Davies is 6 ft 8 and Richard Osman is 6 ft 7.
The thumbs are made for gripping, not for ripping, and if you remember that, you too, will be parting apples.
You absolutely must react to his dentistry story, it's Bob at his absolute best 🤣🤣🤣🤣. This is fantastic!!
Or “theft and shrubbery “ even better
Far from his best. Very far😂😂😂
The dentistry story most definitely. 😂
@StephenSelby-h "We do beg your pardon ....." 😂
Fuji 9 😂😂😂
Bob Mortimer on WILTY is all amazing. He's been on it a lot, and they are all hilarious. Do more!!!!
Now this is why I tune in. UA-cam was made for this.... A couple of Americans trying to tear an apple apart 🤣
We're gonna need this through the next few Plump years.
@@magnetiktrax Yeah, good luck with that. Y'awl gonna need it.
The look on Greg Davies face when Bob did it was pure child like joy and wonder, glad to see that you are now apple parters this new found skill will no doubt impress and amaze your friends 😂✌❤🐦.
Egg in the Bath is brilliant...
You are going down the rabbit hole, with our bob. Well worth the visit mind you
And you too, will be parting apples. Classic Bob.
Very unusual to see a lawyer telling the truth.
Bob's an absolute legend.

What an absolute gem of a channel thanks for the link.
He split an apple in the last episode too!
Well done Mike and Jess. You two are now official "apple busters." 🍎🍏
...And Away! ;)
Thanks guys, wonderful reaction, carry on with Bob reactions!
you need to check out one of the 'giants' , Greg Davies' story on the Graham Norton show......you'll love it !!
That is a hilarious story.
Holy crap you apple parter pros!
Bob is fantastic, just looking at him makes me want to laugh 😆 😂😂
How excited does Greg get haha
The dentistry one is supurb
New Olympic sport . Apple ripping 😂
I’ve Ben waiting for a Bob reaction! You need to do every one of his!
That was great guys. Love your channel

Watching from New Zealand and loving every reaction.😊
Of course, he can.....it's BOB!
09:10 That's why you married her... don't try to pretend otherwise... and we approve of your choice :)
There are now no whole apples or unboiled eggs at Jess and Mike's 🤣🤣nice one you two, thanks👍
Excellent :). Please also react to Pomp & Circumstance/Land of Hope and Glory 2014 - BBC Proms
3:03 , seeing Greg having to cover his mouth with glee.
Great reaction! *Pink Lady* is my favorite apple in the UK. I don't know why this name; maybe, someone knows the answer.
Classic Bob / Dad.
Dad🤣🤣👍
Bob's apple wasn't bigger it's just that Bob is a Hobbit and has tiny hands.
American egg shells are more brittle than in the UK. It's to do with the intensity with which you produce them. That'll be why you struggle.
You're very close with the peeling the egg shells, you also put a tiny pin hole in the small end of the shell before boiling, once the cold water hits it, it makes peeling an egg so much simpler. A tea spoon is also excellent to peel them.
The fresher the egg the harder it is to peel. It’s to do with air.
True fact: Apples always taste better when you break them apart.
I hate people wasting food, so it felt very satisfying when you guys immediately ate the apples. ThanK You XD
When the girl ripped that apple perfectly in half my jaw dropped open, twisting it works
Great fun you two really enjoyed x
"If you took it like that (?), it's on you..." - Would that be the 'juice' LOL 😋😏
i am so impressed with you two...i have tried repeatedly and never done it
Congrats both of you for doing it. Jodi from 'Boring Reviews' had a go too after seeing Bob do it. She was successful, but it took a lot longer.
When there’s an innuendo which she picks up on quick, she’s got a really dirty laugh
One of the great things about that this is Patsy Kensit’s croaky laughter. She’s a guest on Bob’s team.
Favourite - Braeburn apples, crisp and juicy. Next time I have one I'll try to break it apart 😊
Jess, you have a "Carry On" film and 'Old Tyme Music Hall' sense of humour, very British, very London. Not to say other parts of the UK don't use innuendo, but it's very prevalent in London. 1950s, 60s and 70s UK comedian Frankie Howard was a master.

Well done you grabbing your apples and succeeding where others have feared to go.
I’m no gonna lie but a wee part of me wanted Mike to no be able to do it and Jess absolutely smashed it so fair play to both of you 😂
Classic bob, great reaction as always
And half of this years apple harvest is now scattered in bits in hundreds of homes.
Now bob Mortimer reactions you have me even more signed in than before somehow bob is a national treasure
My Dad taught me this as a kid, back in the 70's...
Trick with boiling eggs...
Poach fresh eggs
Boil older eggs
Both will fail the other way round.
Who’d have thought that a few months ago you’d be getting excited about watching a man in another country ripping an apple apart!
I really wish I could FaceTime in and give context on all the little things they wouldn’t know 😂
Very WELL apple pulling apart, wowzer
Have you guys just got a fair % of viewers to eat apples with you at the same time (save for recording & posting delayed time) lol Impressive!
Hiya. Yaaay, Jess for the win! It's difficult to pick a favourite apple, as there are 2,500 varieties in the UK alone and I haven't tried them all, but I'm pretty sure a Cox's Orange Pippin is a good one. Stay safe. All the best to you.
So many apples have been sacrificed after this clip. 🤣 I ran straight to the kitchen after that episode. Pink Lady for the win.
Greg and Chris Eubank is a must! 👍🤪
Well done guys. Love your show x
Now, now, your NOT suppossed to dig into them with your fingers, that's cheating 🙂
Please do dentistry and garden stories
'Dentistry' contains 3 spoilers, including spoiling Theft and Shrubbery. Other spoilers are this and "Masks", so only 1 left.
Best Wishes. ☮
Mike, by now you should have known about Jess's "grip". Just be careful if she gets her hands on some "plums"😚. Stay safe you guys.
I know it's not a show ... more of an event, but I wondered if you had ever watched The Cheese Rolling, Coopers Hill, Gloucestershire?
Eggs will peel in one quite easily if they're fresh.
Tried this and ended up with cramp...in both hands! 🤦
I must admit that when I first saw this on TV, I tried and just ended up with a bowl full of bruised apples 🤣👍
🤪@@martindunstan8043
That's a great technique and you two did it well too. I like Golden delicious apples, they're my fave.
You had one of the other great WILTY guests in that clip, Greg Davies.
A magician showed how it's done on tv 👍
Brilliant video!
Glad you liked it!
First time I've seen anyone pull this off outside of Bob.
Pink Lady’s are the best apples, sweet, crisp and juicy.
I do enjoy a Pink Lady always juicy.... 😉😂
You can probably guess what ive just added to my grocery shopping list lol , well done , i cant let Jess beat me lol , its a man thang 🤣🤣💪💪

You should find Bob doing his 'train guy' character.. 😅
I only buy Gala apples, although if I want to stew apples I would use cooking apples or in the autumn take fruit from a couple of trees which hang over my garden fence (with my neighbours’ permission!).
Woo! I'm first comment 😂❤ what a sad life I lead... well actually, I don't, but ya know, cheap thrills xxx
Gala's are good, Jazz are even better 🇬🇧
Mike, I have to tell you that women learn about innuendo from men. It doesn’t come naturally to us, it’s the male thought processes that we learn from you guys. remember, the thumbs are for gripping not for ripping. :) Golden Delicious is my favourite apple
welcome to InnuendoNation TV ;)
🤣👍
I like gala, good consistency, but prefer pink lady 🙂
It's surprisingly easy to do when you know how to do it. I saw a youtube video by Mike Boyd on how to do it some years ago. Bob is actually pretty spot on with his description. Older eggs peel a lot easier that new eggs
My Faves are Pink Ladies love em.
I love a 'Cox's Orange Pippin' apple (often referred to simply as 'Cox') - no innuendo intended, they are genuinely delicious.
Bramley and Coxs.. Yum
A Cox's for me too please, plus a chunk of real (i.e. from England) Cheddar cheese.
I love you guys!!! 😂
The apples you had were the perfect size, but you need to grip either side of the stalk with your drumsticks and pull side to side from the top. The fingers play no role other than holding the apple in place.
My favourite type of apple is "The Big". 😉
The trick to peeling the shell from and egg is to break from the bottom of the egg, there's a small air pocket at the bottom which allows you to break the membrane, once thats broken all the shell will come straight off
It’s time to get off the sofa and travel the world reacting to different countries.
If only we had the money to do so friend. Travelling with a family of 5 is not cheap. Someday 🤞🏻
I hope he would be able to break an apple. My grandfather could do it and taught me to do it. It's not something that's crossed my mind for many years though - I don't like apples! 😀
Best apple variety = Jazz...it's a cross between a Royal Gala and a Braeburn...juicy and sweet.
Always with the inyourendoes!
Well done you two! I'd try it myself, but I've already got a hernia!
They are giants, they're 6' 8"
The trick to hard boiled eggs, is to crack the shell first
Great guys ha haha
All these reactors have watched all the other reaction vids by now.
Not sure what you're emplying, but if it's that we watch other reactions before watching the original it's not true at all.
Well done guys xx
