Hi, a country mile the funniest thing I have ever seen on British TV. David Mitchell and Keeley Hawkes just had me doubled over laughing. Nothing has come through since.
Kevin Bridges is one of the funniest comedians in the UK. Watch any of his sketches. They will leave you in stitches. Go Vols...ok, I'm a New Yorker who lives in the UK but I recognise the Univ of Tennessee helmet.
Hello, there are loads of David Mitchell shows with brilliant funny sketches like " Grammar Nazi ", "Are We the Baddies" and " Kill the Poor",if you haven't seen it already another similar show is "QI" (quite interesting),its funny and clever too ,❤❤
Kevin is the best of Britain right now. Such a funny comedian all his stand up bits are quality. Try and find his house rice bit, or if Facebook was a pub.
David Mitchell also starred as Shakespeare in Upstart Crow, a historical comedy series, which is well worth a look. He is a former member of the University of Cambridge's Footlights review, which has produced a string of stars over the years; David Frost, the Monty Python crew and Hugh Lawrie to name but a few.
Rob Brydon is SO good in “Gavin & Stacey” which is such a fantastic comedy but I’m not sure if it’s funnier if you’re Welsh or does it translate to all of the English speaking people. Worth a try maybe
Pretty much THE moment that made Kevin Bridges a star. He went into this as a near-unknown and one story later everybody's going "who is this guy, he's brilliant!".
David Mitchel, half of comedy duo Mitchell and Webb. You should check out some of their sketches like ARE WE THE BADDIES or SIR DIGBY CHICKEN CAESAR very funny.
David Mitchell is the one asking questions and trying to keep his sanity together. He is the most wonderfully ranty man and this show's format brings it out beautifully. (He's married to the gorgeous, poker Queen, Victoria Croen Mitchell. A match that surprised everyone, David included, and should bring hope to all those silly men who think they need to be 6ft and chisel jawed!) The one you thought was in a band did used to be, till he found his real calling as a Professor of particle physics and astronomy. So glad you've become WILTY fans, it's also a good party game so long as the people don't know each other too well.
They also have a section of the show called ‘This is my’ where a team claims that the guest is known to them and the opposing team have to work out who is telling the truth. James Acaster is very funny. The teams are not only comedians, but well known figures in British society. Keep them coming guys!
The "guy on the right" is Professor Brian Cox. He's a scientist and on TV a lot. However, he used to be the keyboard player in a band called D-Ream in the early 90's. Kevin Bridges is hilarious. Probably the best comedian Scotland has produced since Billy Connolly. You need to do some of his stand-up.
You should definitely watch David Mitchell's Soapbox short video series - just him ranting into the ether & being his hilarious & ridiculously insightful self on random topics that have pissed him off for usually esoteric reasons!

Look up 'David Mitchell's soapbox', it was a series of about 80 Vodcasts he did where he just rants for 2-5 minutes on a single subject. Perfect length to react to!

Bob Mortimer does a programme, which I think is called gone fishing with Paul Whitehouse, very funny and really lovely, worth checking Paul Whitehouse out in the fast show, he did a sketch with Johnny Depp, who is a huge fan, well worth a look but keep going with wilty 🙂🏴
"Gone Fishing" is a fav of mine too - 2 comedians, old friends, fishing in beautiful environments and with a flow of natural, gentle humour. David Mitchell is one half of a comedy duo (along with Robert Webb) who did fantastic sketches in their sketch show, “That Mitchell and Webb Look.” They also starred in 9 seasons of “Peep Show,” an hilarious, rude, crude sitcom which has them play Mark, a repressed sexually inadequate salesman (Mitchell) and his work shy, drug taking, sex mad musician Jeremy (Webb). It’s a fantastic take on British culture and I think you would both love it. It would have to be shown on your Patreon channel because of the swearing, but I would join your Patreon just to see you react to it.
David Mitchell is the name of the man you wondered about. He's had a long career as an comedian/actor and is now seen on this programme and QI. His angry logical rants are hilarious.
David Mitchell was in the VERY long-running sit-com "Peep Show". I think it's a work of genius from start to finish because the characters develop throughout the series. Imagine a Dystopian "Friends".
You guys already know that Bob Mortimer is the all time great competitor on this show but I also want to give a shout to a few other fantastic reccurring guests: James Acaster, Henning Wehn and Claudia Winkleman.
The actual recording of this question took around 45minutes, and had to be heavily edited to fit it in. David Mitchells wife Victoria has been on the show several times, try "Lee Mack vs The Mitchells."

If you watch a full episode and wonder why the points don't match up with what you saw, they actually play the game for about 3 hours. (I went to a recording once.) Every panelist actually has a go for each round. They then edit down to 30 minutes for transmission. This is how, as others have said, Kevin's horse story was actually 45 minutes long before editing.
