When the video started, Derek was all serious, Dylan was quiet, and Kevin was well, Kevin. It was like they were all hungover. When Luke showed up, it was like he brought a refreshing dose of silliness and the video just took off and everyone's online personalities came shining through. Great stuff guys, this is why I watch every one of your channels. Thanks for the video.

I'm with Derek, that engine needs to go in something straight away. Car or small truck or something.
That boat was $$$$ back in its day. I bet that motor has super low hours, which is why it runs so good. Keep I mind marine motors are designed to be held at higher RPM’a for long periods of time, so they are usually fairly healthy.

My Dad's cobalt was like a cadillac. I loved driving that boat. He had 13 boats at one time, but that cobalt was the cadillac of all of them. We even drove it out in the Gulf of Mexico and circled around a oil platform off the coast of Louisiana. The waves were huge like 12 ft swells out in the gulf. Scared the shit out of me.

Your videos inspired me to finally start restoring my grandpas Ford f-100 that hasn’t ran in ten years before I started. So far I’ve put in 2 new radiator hoses, new fuel pump, new fuel tank, new fuel filter, and a new accelerator pump diaphragm. Next I need to clean out the carburetor and change spark plugs. Can’t wait tell I get my license so I can drive it!!!

yeah marine engines are totally different animal then a car engine it won't work they are not made that way
@@79tazman Only the cooling system is different. The block is the same, so you can easily adapt a contemporary thermostat / radiator system to them instead of the drive pump circulation system.

Just so you know, marine starters are designed so they cant ignite gas fumes. Boats can explode from fumes and car starters are a no no. You're good here but do not ever do this on a water worthy craft.

The little trim pump works well for making auxiliary hydraulics like a small dump bed for a UTV or something similar.
