Today is my husband's 60th birthday and while he is not a big baker, he loves to bake oatmeal cookies. The old school way. As soon as I watched the video this weekend, I knew that these were a must! He did not want a party nor a cake so I just now made these for him! I added a bit of vanilla extract and while I love raisins, he does not so I omitted them. Cannot wait for him to try them later. Thank you SO much! 😘
@@barbiec4312 He did! I added some raisins to a couple for me! I plan to try them again with honey instead of the maple syrup to see if I prefer one sweetener over the other.
I made these today, they're super good!! They were a tiny bit too salty but I think that's because the peanut butter I used had salt. These will make great snacks on the go, thank you!!
I love the way this recipe sounds but only have Flax seeds. Gonna try it today. May need to add extra butter. Thank you, Dani, for yet another great recipe
I made them this morning. I didn't have sea salt, so I used less table salt. I smashed up some snickerdoodle almonds that I need to use. I found the mixture a bit tacky but I was able to shape with the use of spoons; firmed up nicely in the fridge.
I don't know why I haven't thought of raisins before!! I've made a similar goodie with cacao nips a few weeks ago. I used flax (out of chia) and unfortunately regular peanut butter (the only one I had on hand) and a bit less maple syrup. They tasted good, but like another commenter said, they didn't really stick well. I'll make using the pourable nut butter like you suggest! Thank you!!!
I tried this recipe and really enjoyed the end result. One question, as I only used 3/4 of the honey you recommended, as I find honey, syrups or other sugary additives too sweet for me. What else may be used as a binder? I tried only half the amount of honey at first and found the balls would not bind. Appreciate the help anyone is able to provide.
Hi Dani 🙂👋 thanks for recipe. 🌹 I did it with peanut butter and it is so yummy ❤ also your chilli soup with pumpkin is my family's favourite now 😊 waiting for more ideas from you. Good luck! 😉
I recently read that uncooked oats are loaded with lectins. I have not researched it yet. So I researched the scientific aspects of Gundry’s claims re lectin. The bottom line, lectins are not a danger in most foods but cooking foods (grains, beans etc) is beneficial.
These look delicious! I would use the chocolate chips vs. the raisins. Thank you for the peanut butter recommendation! I’m definitely going to try that brand. The worst part of natural pb is that it’s hard to stir. All the oil on top but so hard to mix what’s at the bottom.
I recently saw a gal dump the entire jar of pb into a small food processor. She pulsed it a couple of times and it made the entire thing thick and creamy. Then scooped it back into the jar with a spatula. I thought that was pretty smart!
Looks great. Would these last outside of the fridge after being set say for a day if made the night before or the morning if thinking this and variations would make great snacks for hikes or road trips. Also is the maple or any liquid sweetner a necessity for helping thrm to roll together or can i use to taste or not at all.
Can't wait to make these.....Just made your "No Bake Oatmeal Energy Balls" the other day.....(So Good)......Glad to see you used peanut butter then I can use my Sunbutter!!!!
Can you make Keto ones, no oats? I lost #214 lbs and I limit my carbs! I was #415 lbs and Got that way after my 8 month unborn son was killed when a patient fell on me. I now help others I am no longer Diabetic. Please write me, if you can suggest hemp seeds with chia, no raises charlya Barbarita Howard
It is rare that I actually have all of the ingredients for somebody's recipe but I actually have all of these ingredients believe it or not even the Chia seeds. Tomorrow I will attempt he's not today because I am feeling under the weather but definitely tomorrow although I could use some energy balls right about now
I’m on a strict keto diet and oats are something I can’t have. I can substitute the raisins with sugar free chocolate chips and I have sugar free syrup. But the oatmeal has me stumped! Any suggestions of a substitute will be helpful!
Love your videos. Do you know of any clean & delicious replacements for chocolate/cocoa? I recently discovered my kidneys create oxalates-calcium stones and my urologist said they’re treating more and more patients with these. Biggest no-no’s in a low oxalates diet are almonds, spinach, beets, bran, tea and chocolate. As long as I eat these sparingly, I’ve found acceptable alternatives for everything but the cocoa. I’m thinking of trying carob to replace cocoa except can’t find any chips or bars that aren’t made with hydrogenated oil and/or palm oil, to which I am allergic.
Mom to 4 teenage boys. They work out at the gym and are always looking for post workout snacks. Made these today, and I’m sure they’ll be gone in a matter of minutes. 😅
Good morning, I'm, can you send me the link for your paystock cookies with the oatmeal and the Coco, please. And thank you I had it saved. I just don't want I did with it, will it rain?
I decided to make two batches but unfortunately even with the required ingredients the amount of each ingredient especially the peanut butter it's still too dry. To add more peanut butter I just might as well just eat the peanut butter out of the jar. Not a fan of this recipe really. Because the balls wouldn't stick together I ended up just using it as a topping on my soy yogurt
I assume these energy balls identify themselves as he/him because they have nuts in them and you're rolling them tenderly in your hands in the shape of balls. If Hershey were to make them they would not be able to say they were HER/SHEy and celebrate international women's day.
Happy Saturday! These easy energy balls are a delicious, healthy snack to add to your weekend meal prep. So simple and so good! XO Dani
I throw a teaspoon of cocoa and coffee in mine. I call them Giddy up Balls
That sounds delicious!!
😂
Genius
Do you use regular grinds?
@@mistythompson4961 I would use espresso powder.

You are so awesome for sharing these recipes 🤗 as a twenty something who snacks often, this combo of simple, quick, *and* healthy is a gamechanger!!

I love how versatile this recipe can be!! I tried it out and it’s delicious
Thank you for the plant based recipe. I'm vegan so I really appreciate it! 🙂
Oh my goodness our church is all doing a no sugar challenge
Need to share this with them 😅
Thank s Daniel your amazing
No sugar period or no white sugar? The maple syrup and honey count as sugars.
This recipe came through today at the perfect time. I am definitely in need of a sweet treat, without feeling guilty.

I bet the flax will work just fine. Enjoy!

It's ALL about the brand of nut butter - is the nut butter is dry, the texture of the energy bites will not be right.
I will be making these scrumptious energy ball.
Thank you!

You are a life saver. I so needed this recipe. So happy it doesn't have bananas. I love bananas but not in my energy balls.
So glad you like this one!! Enjoy them.
I love any of your balls when you post them. Have made a couple of, and look forward to making these too! Thanks, Dani 😊🌹
Thanks, Gina Friend!! XO

If you haven't already, try dtoting it upside down - it really happens if you happen to buy a thicker brand of pb
I recently saw a gal dump the entire jar of pb into a small food processor. She pulsed it a couple of times and it made the entire thing thick and creamy. Then scooped it back into the jar with a spatula. I thought that was pretty smart!
Interesting idea👍. I did something similar on my channel, only in the form of a cake. And in general, I love all these oatmeal dishes😋
I'm going to try this
Enjoy them, Judy!
I will try the oatmeal energy balls.

I find a few hours in the fridge makes them taste even better, but best flavor is overnight!
I love the recipe mine are not holding together, more nut butter?
❤😋Thank you so much..
Mine won't stay together enough to roll them. I put the bowl in the fridge for a bit. I hope that helps.
Nice I’ll make them tomorrow with dates instead of raisins but the chia seeds to they swell up and soften?
Or do they stay dry 😰

How much calories in 100 gram?
What can I replace with nut butter? My school has no nut policy. Can I use tahini?
Is this ok as a breakfast?

Can you do this in a food processor?
Hello from jakarta Indonesia 😊
Would Cocoa Powder go well with this ingredients ? If Yes in how much quantity ?
I think I read a comment where one person used cocoa powder and they used I believe one teaspoon.

2:01 🥜 hey I checked out the description box link and didn’t see the lists of pourable natural peanut butters that you like ❓❔❓
I linked to my favorite one in the deacription - here it is - > amzn.to/3kWD7RO
@@CleanandDeliciousDani awesome 👏 thanks
Will these cause my insulin to raise since there’s syrup and oatmeal?
If you're using quick oats shouldn't you use less?
Closed captions..'you have to look for something horrible' 😆
Do you have to use chia seeds?
I asked someone else that same question. Waiting for an answer. What about flax seeds

What brand of peanut butter did you use? Was the texture loose and pourable as suggested in the video? Lets trouble shoot!
I don’t use maple syrup can I use something else?
She said you can use honey.
What would Jif do to it?
I just found your channel, I’m really enjoying it, thank you!
I was able to make 10 not 12 and my hands were sooo full lol how did you not get anything on your hands?
I wonder if you can use either disposable gloves or those type of gloves that are used when serving food
Nutritional expersts have all said do not eat dry chia seeds
What about flax seed? Do you know if that can be used or if that can be eaten and this kind of mixture
I guess I have to really screw up with the recipe to have them for this long in the fridge 😅😅
LOL, they don't last long in our home either.
That was the only recipe of yours that didn’t work out well for me. I used agave syrup and storable PB. I can probably eat as yogurt topping though.
🤍
... HA_HA ,, 2-3 weeks .... hahaha .... lucky to last 2-3 hrs ... ... flatten them out more like a cookie ,, easier to eat ...
