Got my Conceal Pack all the way from the U.S. to the Philippines. Definitely my unicorn pack. It definitely is the all-rounder pack and the craftsmanship just bleeds out from it. One of the best made bags you can own and all the while you're going to think about every penny that you paid for it will pay forward. Coming from an Aer and Bellroy type of pack. Normally with purchasing this kind of pack, if you end up liking it, you may need to stop looking for other packs to try out unless it's for a specific reason. Otherwise, damn. It really is THAT good. One of the few lucky folks to get a hold of one with the neon interior. Great job to Doug and the team! Planning to make a review after a year of use and really making the bag break in and actual every day use. Cheers George!
Hey Boss, from the Philippines too. Currently using a CT15 and a GR1 26L. I find myself looking at a smaller pack for EDC. GR1 21L and TBB 21L are my options. Hows the TBB for long walks?
@@bryanco5920 The Conceal I would say is pretty great for long walks. I took it for a good amount of paces walking around in EDC mode and also a good amount along the streets and train stations of Ortigas and Pasay. It's a great pack for what it is. It's simple af but if you've already got great pouches or what not to utilize the space better or maybe even velcro attachments it'd be dope. BUT, having tried the CPL24V3M with the same amount of stuff and along the same stress and length of walks is clearly a better buy, even especially since you want a smaller EDC pack. See Jtinseoul's comparison of a GR126 and TBB Conceal 21's video and you'd be surprised that it's roughly the same size so I'd be remissed to say the 21L Conceal isn't as small as you think it is. Hope this helps you out brother.
@@KoIzumi24 thanks for this! Def helped me take the TBB out of the option. Now, the final options are the EG Phoenix, CPL24v2 and the Gr1 21L. Any opinions on these three?
@@bryanco5920 I do not personally own any of these bags but having owned an x-pac bag, which is an Aer Fit pack 2 X-PAC (vx-21, orange nylon interior) is that x-pac bags are very reliable when it comes to rain and even the occasional heavy drizzle, but it's not very pliable when overstuffing. I'm sure you won't but it's worth mentioning since I've seen x-pac tear more visibly than cordura or any other bag material. But it might just be the vx material itself. So, comparing the phoenix and the cpl24v2 I would take the phoenix because even without the upgraded back panel of the cpl24v3, even if it isn't breathable by any means, I reckon it'll be a better material than the lint magnet across the entire cpl24v2. As for the GR1 21L. 1000D cordura handles, feels and functions very rugged. You'll feel it as you use it day to day, especially when it rubs against your back and shoulders so it should be subjective how you feel about that. As for the capacity, in my opinion I just think the CPL24 overall has better usability just by the fact that it's sectioned differently for the small things. The front access pocket of the GR1 21L is a big open space and can get annoying to get stuff in and out if you don't have an organizer of some sort. Added benefit of the CPL24 design is the top taco pocket that can house your keys or other stuff like glasses cases. My honest take is you should try out how these bags feel personally to pinpoint on a more personal decision. Because I like my Conceal 21L and CPL24V3M for different reasons. Even while they function mostly the same, I still like rotating around these bags. Hope you get to decide mate. Cheers ✌
Dang. At $400, I'd expect an elevated laptop compartment, rigid back panel, organization INCLUDED (instead of having to drop more and buy separately). Plus the laptop compartment isn't east to get in and out. If you drop $400, you should get ALL the features
The laptop compartment is more of a rear conceal carry compartment you can use as a laptop compartment. They sell a Velcro laptop sleeve to attack to the back of the inside compartment.
Hi George, I was fortunate to purchase one of your backpacks you sold last year. Can you recommend the shipping plastic mailer you used to ship backpacks? The mailer you use is more cost effective than a box. Thanks.
Awesome review! I've got the Multicam black version of this pack and love it as well. Not much TBB content on UA-cam so I was excited to see you review this.
NICE! I just picked up the same bag in MCB...didn't realize the MCT/orange would look so awesome! My review coming soon. Great job George - love what you do! Thank You!
Well this is a luxury item, people spend more money on sillier consumer things like champagne or a handbag so it's ok for a beautifully executed pack to cost that much I guess... It's not for everybody, I wouldn't buy it, though I like backpacks, it's above what I consider reasonable.. but just like with a beautiful car, I'm glad it's our there. This bag gives it's owner uniqness, functionality, materials and craftsmanship.. I appreciate it.
in this space though, its very average. you gotta look at it that way. its like you say, some people spend it differently. thats like someone whos into cars saying they wouldnt buy a lexus cuz its 60k, when mercedes and bmws are 60k, its pretty standard. this bag isnt like... overpriced when you look at evergoods, gorucks, aers, trakkes, filson, etc
I’m a student right now so this bag ain’t for me. But I would definitely snatch one up if I had a career already. American made, quality construction, and they treat their workers well? Awesome. Like you said there are other bags that do the same and that’s what I got, but for those who can afford it and like this sort of thing then this is awesome
Great review, as usual! My only issue is that it does not have external water bottle pockets....I want to be able to use all of the interior space and not have to put a water bottle inside.
Hey, now that it’s been some time since you posted this video, have you came to appreciating one bag over the other between GORUCK and The Brown Buffalo?
Yo you need to check out ‘high ground, CRYE PRECISION AVS 1000 PACK, first-spear packs, first tactical packs and I have more but just a warning my crye precision packs were like 480$ a piece high ground pretty pricey as well but they run so,e deals time to time but AMAZING PACKS! I just counted the amount of packs I have and I’m at 27 it’s becoming an issue I’d say I have well over 7 to 8k$ in packs and don’t even get me started on knives I have 30+ and just 2 are worth over 8k$ I have a bunch of custom marfione customs and Medford customs among others. I tell you edc is a slippery slope be VERY careful people once you go high end you never go back I feel like I’m holding a cheap knife when I’m holding a 600$ knife it’s sad I know but it’s what happens trust me same with packs
I have the 26L Conceal and it is one of my favorite packs. You can really feel the craftsmanship on it.

Hey George, have you tried a Saddleback Leather bag? Would love to see you review one!
Great review man.. damn nice bag you have right there.
Another great review, George. Thanks much.
Thanks George!
Hey George, hope you're well buddy. That's a handsome pack for sure. Love the Tropical MC... Have you seen the newer Rucker 4.0 in Tropical MC?
I love your video! How do you compare it with the Evergoods CPL?
Since TBB accessories are often sold out, what other brand accessories would you suggest that has Velcro ?

One of my favourites for sure! Gotta get that MOD for the front though, ha.

Hello, I’m debating between the brown buffalo vs ALPHA ONE NINER, PATHFINDER BACKPACK. What is your opinion? Thanks!
For me I would go with Evade 1.5 best value for the price
Thanks, I completely agree with you!
Feels very reminiscent of a Recycled Firefighter bag, but it's awesome. I'd be buying on right now if it was the $400 price tag.
@WHATSAPP+①⑨①⑧⑨⑦③④④⑦④ yeah, how about no.
It’s $295
@johnnybravo4012 doesn't matter. This was a year ago. No longer relevant really.
I wish the company would "practice empathy" by making it more affordable. But hey, they're usually sold out so what do I know.
interesting
Great review, as usual! My only issue is that it does not have external water bottle pockets....I want to be able to use all of the interior space and not have to put a water bottle inside.
You can add some with the two tabs on each side.
Hey, now that it’s been some time since you posted this video, have you came to appreciating one bag over the other between GORUCK and The Brown Buffalo?
I like the GORUCK more.. I keep coming back to it. The quality excellent and I found one that has all the features I need.

$400 for a backpack? No way
