CTactical is THE BEST BAG COMPANY IN THE WORLD! After owning 20+ bags of all different sizes, types, brands, and prices, they just can't be beat for real. After seeing your previous CTactical video, I grabbed the 21 Tanker, and retired nearly every other bag in my closet. Since then, I've gotten a few more small bags from them, and plan to change over to the new 21 this month. The absolutely stellar attention to detail, quality of life, and everyman pricing will continue to help push CT to the top.
Making the Goruck simps salty. JK I own Goruck products but I'm all for competition in the market. I think CT is pretty damn competitive with their prices. Although I think their stitching could use some improvement. Goruck has made in Vietnam bags too while still charging high prices. You do lose out on warranty and support though with CT. People complain about them ripping off Goruck when even Goruck's designs are based off generic surplus military bags... Because of CT, Goruck has finally been updating their bags with Ripstop, quick access compartments, etc etc, to stay feature competitive.
Another thing i was thinking of nabbing the pack as an assault pack to pair with my srvv vest is it good with lashing something like a tube or a machete outside?
I just received my CT15 v3 in wolf. It’s definitely a quality bag. To the point I stopped waiting for the GR 16l bullet in tan. The gray is low key. I went on a short walk with a Y4A tall 20# plate. Wouldn’t want to go more than that, but it held up.
The v3's are just really good. Maybe the best value on this type of single panel out there. I like they have so much variety in fabrics and interiors. I hope one day they will come out with a bigger than CT21 single panel size. Like the same size just maybe 7in deep.
One thing you didn’t touch on that I really think is an awesome feature is the pals webbing on the top of the sides of the bags. I love my Bullet 15 but I always wish it had webbing on the top of the sides for attaching lanyards, work badges, keys, etc. I just can’t justify the cost of sending it in to SCARS for this mod.
I've completely switched from GoRuck to CTactical. I have a CT21 v3 and just got a Petrichor limited run by being part of the Facebook group Buy group. My kid starts kinder next week and he got a CTJunior. Got all 3 of those bags for about the cost of one GR2
Just researching these bags and saw your video. I was thinking about the orange but wasn't sure I would like it, but i might buy that color after watching your video. Thanks!
I wish they'd do a vertical front zipper, you get a wider opening for organization and dumping vs a narrow deep front pocket where things get lost at the bottom. And a smaller lighter 12L bag would be nice, CT10 is the same 1.1kg as the 15 and isn't much smaller, just long and narrow, so not much point in buying a 10 when you can just get the 15.
Bought a 21L tanker based off of this review. Zero regrets. I was surprised to receive so many compliments on the Woodland camo as well, even if I’m personally ambivalent to slightly negative about partial camo on gear.
Looking good brother. I hope you're well. I feel I need to up my CT back game. The price for these is amazing compared to others. Shame the 21LTR only fits up to a 15" laptop as my work laptop is 16". Wonder if they're thinking of a 25ltr version in the future. I'll definitely pick one up to test out. Keep up the awesome work You need to get yourself a NASA patch for the orange bags. That would look sick
Do the slick (no MOLLE webbing on the outside) versions of these bags still have the admin/organizational area on the front pocket? I want one of these bags, but don't necessarily want all the tactical webbing on the outside, lol. I've been looking for a simple, affordable EDC pack that was big enough and still had great organization, and this checks all of the boxes, but just wanted some clarification before I buy it, lol. I wish they would show pictures of the admin pocket on the website.
Hi George! Can you do a video only on backpacks that can fit 17.3 inches laptops? It has been 1 month of searching for backpack that can actually fit my laptop and so far no luck.
Another great review George! I’ve got the V2 21 and purchased V3 in Robic and the value proposition is crazy compared to Goruck (and I’ve got several Goruck bags ) - better organization on the front pocket and the interior, hi vis lining, comfortable straps and the additional rain cover is the cherry on the top. Time for GR to step up their game.
It drives me nuts when an awesome design does not have an exterior water bottle pocket. They could at least run molle all the way up the side for an attachable one (like Vanquest).
It looks very promising, but how do people in the US get it shipped for little to no cost in a couple of weeks or less? It seems like they need a US distribution arm to really take off here. I would like to see a review of the two sizes being used for rucking [shaped plates, round iron plates, and sand bags] up to 45lb or so. Does a #20 plate fit well in the spine pocket, with proper support on the bottom to prevent blowout? What about the pocket just inside that (inside the main compartment)?
Would a 21L one be worth $200? I'm wanting to buy a 1000D CT21 but with custom fees and shipping to Europe I'm looking at having to spend over €200... I just can't find a suitable alternative unfortunately.
I see that they listed the bag to fit a 15” laptop, I actually just ordered a ct15 black to try to fit my 15.6” laptop. If it doesn’t fit in the laptop compartment do you think it will fit inside the bag? I might have to return this it doesn’t fit my laptop in either compartment. I was thinking of something a little smaller than my CPL24 and CT15 looks to be a perfect EDC bag.
I have the black CT15 V3 now, and my 15.6" laptop does fit inside the main compartment albeit slightly tight but the laptop compartment is good for like macbook air 13" or so and it is unusable for my scenario unfortunately.
This brand is eating Goruck's lunch and showing the world that GoRuck has become exceptionally greedy in terms of inflating the cost of their bags without making innovations to justify that cost.
Sick back pack. Biggest weakness imo is that the 21L weights 3.4L, which is crazy heavy. Also, the designs looks TOO Much like GoRuck. If they pushed for their own design it would be more unique and give off less of a replica or fake vibe. Still might buy tho
My experience with CT was different than yours. It was a pre-owned CT15 2.0. The straps and back panel material felt weird. It's also likely the bag was more used than I was lead to believe. I gave it to a friend of my son, and he loves it. (I've learned some bags fit better than others) I was also comparing it to my Bullet and GR1, which isn't fair. CT is better in some ways, but it wasn't better for me. The v3 bags look a lot nicer. A bag with external water bottle pockets would make a great dad bag.
These are good bags. Period. Good for you for reviewing it and telling your truth.
This channel is so unbelievably underrated.

What about CT’s straps under heavy loads? Comparable to Goruck with the newest versions?
I'm from vietnam. the company had a humble beginning but they been really popping up quite a lot, best of luck to them.

10/10 for the meme intro
The CT21 will also fit a 16" MacBook Pro

What group is that? I searched and couldn’t find it.
how do you find the backpanel of CT3, is it comfy? i cant see if its well paded
How do the straps of version 3 compare to Goruck for heavier loads?
Just researching these bags and saw your video. I was thinking about the orange but wasn't sure I would like it, but i might buy that color after watching your video. Thanks!
Like the simplistic yet modular design, George.

Did you prefer the 500 or 1000D, just stumbled upon your channel today! New subscriber!
1000 D is my favorite
Condor Outdoors has an affordable 21L pack now too. The Prime Pack 21L. It's awesome. Got it after Chrisrmas. Supposedly, they have a 15L coming.

LMAO, I have that same exact "Bye Felicia" patch. Great review man 👍
Your video convinced me to cop one. Great explanation.
Great review and the opener was fire.
Hoping CT releases a slick black version of the 21 with all orange high viz interior everything.
Great review. CTactical has stepped everyone's game up by doing what they do. Let's see if other companies can step up.
Think I might have to get the orange CT15. I like that it’s full 500D. Is the 420D back panel slippery like the GoRuck. Great video as always
Great content as always, George! Just got mine in the mail last week and it’s been wonderful. Better than some bags 2-3x it’s price
Good stuff!

Man you have opened my eyes, thank you
George is the hero we need! I'm debating pulling the trigger on a CT15 1000D. Black or orange?
Hi George! Can you do a video only on backpacks that can fit 17.3 inches laptops? It has been 1 month of searching for backpack that can actually fit my laptop and so far no luck.

Hey George, I am a member of the big/tall club. Is the webbing long enough on the shoulder straps? Thanks
The shoulder straps a good but if you are like 6'3" or above I would go to a 26L pack
Great content. I have the 2.0 bag. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your black is beautiful patch?
I bought on Etsy..
@@GeorgeDEFINED Thank You
Thanks for the review!
Great stuff from them. I'm interested in getting the CT10 eventually. I do have the Junior backpack.
I want that C tactical 15 plus....I need a outside water bottle pocket..
It drives me nuts when an awesome design does not have an exterior water bottle pocket. They could at least run molle all the way up the side for an attachable one (like Vanquest).
Longer straps!! Great for bigger folks 300lb 6'5" !! Especially with large winter coats on!!
Wish they made a 26L.
Nice overview video, God bless.

Mine just arrived and it shipped from Texas. It came in less than a week. But shipping was still $19 🤔
always wanted one of these but never pulled the trigger.
What's a good alternative to Mystery Ranch 2 day assault but cheaper?

What’s the catch? Don’t get me wrong, I love my Gorucks, but F at this price and all the added features what am I missing?
I just wish they had external water bottle pockets without having to do a FB group buy
It's ridiculous how much value they pack into a bag for under $100. You can buy 3 CT21 for a GR1 21L, and the CT21 still has more features.
Don’t hate the player! Hate the game!
The logo is so so large so you don't use the rain cover for your goruck. Lol If GR sold you a cover it would cost 80$ .
Sick back pack. Biggest weakness imo is that the 21L weights 3.4L, which is crazy heavy. Also, the designs looks TOO Much like GoRuck. If they pushed for their own design it would be more unique and give off less of a replica or fake vibe. Still might buy tho

$120 delivery cost to EU for a $80 bag... makes zero sense
A 24 liter Osprey Axis is $ 75 why is this one better ?
Hello George! Substitute please, where can I contact you to condemn cooperation?
