Indeed they do! I find personally that I don't use side access pockets as much for QA. I gravitate towards the top of the bag. So using the inside top "mesh" pocket worked really well for me. But a few hook/loop pockets are great add-on to this bag.
Keep in mind the zippers are not aqua guard, so it'll be storm proof until the zippers get saturated then it'll begin soaking in. This is also a laminate... Not 500D with a VX liner.
@@ParkerBinion that’s a great question. And one I have been thinking about since first using the TBB bag. Both are very similar in shape and design. I guess it would come down to usage. If I were going sleeper camera bag or I loved in a city, I would lean more TBB for the X50/ 500d blend. That would be more weather proof to protect my gear or keep my stuff dry not having a car. Living where I love (suburbs) and having a car and scooter, I would lean towards the Northseeker as an edc. The wildcard option really lets you get wild with a Northseeker. Both are amazing bags though and I’m happy I have each to use for what ever situation I find myself in.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA I really like the pockets on the inner lid of the Brown Buffalo clamshell. I got my Northseeker fuzzy, so the bottom of my bucket is velcro like the BB. I wish the opening of the rear concealed pocket on the Northseeker was as big as the BB Conceal 21 so it could be used for laptops. All that said, I LOVE the Northseeker.
Unfortunately, it does not make a great camera bag as it is not deep enough for full frame camera with larger lenses. Especially, if I try to work out of the bag.
It’s worth $245 to me for sure I have a $300 carry-on along with this bag. I’ll have two carry-on bags I shouldn’t have to check very often but if I do, I’ll check my roller bag. This actually sets on top of my bag over the handle very well. I’m not going to travel the world for two years with just any bag. I’m not going to a flea market and buy a backpack for $10 and travel the world. My world tour is going to be about experiences not looking for 10 different cheap bags to keep me moving!!! It’s worth it to some people not worth it to others so that doesn’t make it cut and dry not worth it!!!
As a brand that was all but dead a few years ago, they do what they need to do to keep the lights on and the bags being made. Though I would love to take the class if I had the time and resources.
The front pocket works great as a quick access pocket after adding a velcro organizer

@@FactFinderGeneral that’s why I call it “weatherproof” and not water proof.
Nice review, Jeff. I'm wondering your opinion on the BB Conceal vs Northseeker. If you had to choose one, which would it be?

What size laptop fits in the compartment? I have a MacBook Pro 16 for work and I am reading mix things of it will fit or not
@@FunkyBuddha418 the one I tested in the video is a 16” MBP.

I haven’t tried to put my camera cubes in it yet, but now as soon as I get home, I’m definitely going to try. Thanks for the heads up!
They should’ve done a model in the mudflap women Woodland camo. lol
@@MikeHoncho884 ummmm…. No thank you
It's not worth 240 bucks not as if it has any security features or out
@@luiscypher9657 you don’t have much experience with bags. Materials, build quality, country of origin. It’s worth every penny of $240.

Shame that tbb is kind of a dead brand. The owner is so focused on classes thst he doesnt make the time to even ship out orders.
