@@cristianovoa I uploaded the comment on mobile, so I couldn't scroll through the video while commenting. I did some research and found out that the shenmue tomato shop was located in dobuita. I really miss your videos. The nature/outdoors and tech mix very well and your videos are all very well put together. I've been watching your videos for the last 4 years. Love them.
It always makes me happy to see a new GreenHamGaming video! Though the lack of your wonderful commentary left me a little empty and I would've loved to hear it for this video, just wanted to let you know. It was still a wonderful video taking me back and reminding me how gaming on a laptop was back then like on my old travelmate 6460, love that machine.
Oh and by the way, read the description it got the script for the video so it's still possible to pretend that he's saying all that but I'd still prefer to have it in the video :)
Tim your videos are amazing, truly some of the best, if not THE best on youtube. The music, the gameplay, the nostalgia, it's all there. Hell, I wasnt even around for most things you make videos on and somehow they still give me nostalgia. 3DFX? I hadn't heard of them until I saw your "Give the Gateway a Voodoo" video, and that is one of the best. What you're doing is beautiful. Not only did you introduce me to tech of old, but you showed me artists like Caravan Palace, Phish, Bachman & Turner, and MIKA, not to mention Tomato Convenience Store. Now I'm off to get a cup of tea because it's too early for beer (also I've run out) and watch some beautifully crafted movies on old tech I wasnt even around to experience, but somehow through your videos I feel like I was. I hope you're alright and I hope life is treating you well. Thank you. We want you to be happy, dont live inside the gloom. We want you to be happy, come step outside your room. We want you to be... happy, because this is your song too.
I feel blessed watching this. I just spent my summer on a mountain bordering the USA and Canada and had a great time. Had my trusty Toshiba P855-5102 so I had a similar experience with games. I replayed Shenmue I and I I while helping out the Redream team fix bugs in Redream for PC. After watching your video I realize how much I missed while there but I was recovering from surgery and needed to heal. Thank you for coming back.
same first laptop and i still have it. I only use it for music because the core2 duo mixed with the HDD = patato. It runs hot to the touch, that was a known flaw on these, i'm surprised it has not melted itself yet.
You have a delightful way of presenting your videos; with a relaxing and artistic atmosphere I enjoy watching your videos every time you post. You have had a big influence on me getting into budget gaming and all the fun I had with it with friends. Keep it up my man
The speakers on this thing make it sound like there's someone sitting in the back of the room, typing on a keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches. :D But seriously, amazing video once again, especially that beginning scene, knowing it was recorded on a 10 year old camera. I'm sure you'd put a $50k DSMC2 camera to better use than Linus Tech Tips does in most of their videos :D
The chassis reminds me of a Dell I used to own a while back, called the Dell Precision M6300. It was rather remarkable and I was using it for a while up to 2016 before I got a new one to replace it. It ran Windows 10 beautifully, and it had a Core 2 Duo paired with a Quadro card. Way back when, I managed to break 150 FPS in World of Warcraft on Ultra, and it ran modern titles like League of Legends quite well. Only substantial upgrades came in the form of more memory (from one gig to four!) and replacing the keyboard with a new old stock when that broke. While the graphics card only had 256 mb of memory, it wasn't that bad at all, especially for a Quadro. If you can find one that still functions, I would totally recommend trying it out!
I had an M6300 as well, and proceeded to max it out with the Core 2 Extreme X9000 and the FX3600M. That laptop was a beast, I ended up giving it to my cousin and he uses it to this day.
I got my hands on a thinkpad t60p just for this. Excellent purchase in my opinion. It was dirt cheap and can play everything from 2003 and below really well. Also has a screen with the a 4:3 aspect ratio. I currently have it hooked up to a 15" CRT monitor, altec lansing speakers, and a USB X-fi card for EAX support. Excellent retro pc gaming goodness. I highly recommend t60p thinkpads for this if you can nab one on ebay.
Not hard to see why when a third of the video run time was spent on shots to establish the mountain setting, something that could have been done in 30 seconds.
Sure the videos may take more than few months, but it's worth it. These videos have been uplifting me for a long time and it always comes with a certain charm in such a way you will watch it again just for that ambiance. Thank you Green Ham Gaming and I am waiting blissfully for more quality content like this.

My PC runs crysis just fine on WinXP VM although the RAM is a limiting factor. 1. The 13” Macbook Pros never had dedicated graphics. The one you’re talking about has a GT 320m which is not a dedicated chip. 2.
