3 Years Of Using Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) For Hair Loss - My Results.

  • I started using low level laser therapy for my hair loss 3 years ago and in this video I want to share how it's went for me along with my thoughts on using low level laser therapy (LLLT) when trying to prevent hair loss.
    The device I mentioned in this video was the iRestore Professional series laser helmet. Though I was a bit critical about them posting a review featuring my pictures and a quote I did not give, I do like the product and think for some people it my work well.

      Ageed. I appreciate that. He called out the company for doing what I consider something that is really shady, which is misrepresent his pictures and quote. The company also pulled their money back guarantee, and they now charge what is essentially a restocking fee so between that, and the tax they somehow say they are entitled to keep if you were ensuring the product, you would end up spending about $600 to have tried out the product for a year if you buy the most expensive cap which on sale is about $2100. I’m not about to give this company $600 and return the product so they’ve lost a potential customer. The fact that they’ve changed their guarantee makes me wonder if a lot of people are returning the products. That’s usually when return policies are changed. And if a lot of people are returning the products, that makes me question whether they even really work.

I was actually thinking of using the exact product you used since the first time you uploaded it, bit it was a “bit” pricey so i had to search for other way, now that i’ve seen that there is no actual cure for this, i’m gonna have to accept it and not bother anymore. I got on it years ago and I had NO hair at the crown. It isn't fully covered again but it looks and has kept looking like I just began to lose hair not that I had completely lost it before.

      Plus, they no longer offer a moneyback guarantee. They charge a restocking fee and keep the sales tax, so if you buy the most expensive cap, and find that it doesn’t work and wanna return it within the first year, they keep $600 of your money! Oh, and you have to pay to return it. So when a company changes their return policy, it’s usually because of a lot of returns so that makes me question whether this Product really works at all. The majority of people with videos about it on here are either sponsored or got the product for free and only this gentleman and a lady in her 70s, I have really spoken honestly. Everyone else kind of just says what you would expect, which is nothing negative.

    Have you heard of Ashley Black’s fascia blasters? I am a licensed massage, therapist & bodyworker. After researching her products years ago, and now understanding them, I believe they are very beneficial to the body. The face fascia blaster is very small. It can be used on the scalp to break up overgrown fascia on the scalp to help restore hair growth. If you are not familiar with this area, I would recommend reading her book that she wrote. It’s very educational.
    I have enjoyed watching your videos over the years and have just recently looked you back up and happened across this video. I would be interested what you found using this and making a video on your results.

  • @Hydde87
    @Hydde87 4 місяці тому +3

    Shouldn't focus too much on how much hair you shed. Male pattern baldness doesn't just toss out your hair, it makes them gradually thinner and weaker over a period of time until they become no longer visible at all. I'd worry only if you notice the shed hairs are getting smaller.
    In fact if you recently started a new treatment, shedding can actually be a good sign as it means the roots of these hairs might have been kicked into new growth cycles. Yo-yoing between starting and stopping treatments is probably the worst you can do if you worry about shedding.
    In the end the only reliable way to tell if it works or not is using the mirror. And even then you need to be patient. Hair cycles take a long frigging time. It can take months or even years before the final results are there. It's a long game commitment.

    I've been doing an exercise where i raise my eye brows, then contract the muscles in the back of my head (ones responsible for wiggling your ears) and then repeating this movement for 15-20 minutes. What this does is it pulls the scalp forwards when you raise your eye brows, then the back muscles pull the scalp backwards. It's very important that you use both muscles correctly. This encourages blood flow to the scalp area and stretches and promotes a loose scalp which arguably is the main cause of androgenetic alopecia to begin with(tight scalp leads to infllammation which leads to dht build up which strangles blood flow to the follicle and so on). I've been doing this exercise for 17-18 years and come from a family of all bald men and i still have a great head of hair. Worth trying and it's a great facial exercise as well as a side effect is less droop around your eyes as you age. I couldn't use the muscles in the back of my head when i first started, but about 6 months of occasional trying and i got there in the end. Highly recommend this exercise!

    I get that results with these are subtle at best, and appreciate that LLLT is probably best combined with other things such as massages/ blood flow work, keto shampoo, minoxidil even (if not fin or dut), but I'd be keen to know if solutions like this helmet or the laser baseball caps can realistically do anything if you have a thick'ish head of hair and a fringe (bangs) etc? My hairline is definitely going, but it's currently covered by hair mostly because my hairstyle means it's about mid-ear in length. Therefore I wonder if I would personally be better-off with an LLLT wand, and manually parting the hair in sections to make sure the light reaches the scalp? The only problem with that is, it would inevitably take a lot longer to concentrate the light in different sections of the head for long enough to make a diifference, so I'm not sure how long I would keep it up.

      @@SimpleManChannelNo, that's incorrect. If the hair is transplanted from the proper donor area, the transplanted hair will be permanent as the donor hair is DHT resistant. The only thing is that after getting a hair transplant, you can still lose hair in other parts of the scalp if you're not taking medical therapy (Minoxodil/Finasteride). Long story short, hair transplants DO work, I've had 2 and the results have been amazing.

    Are you still using the monoxidil? iRESTORE sent me your 15 month video review to talk me into not returning mine after 12 months to get my money back guarantee. They did not mention you were taking the monoxidil though.

    • @SimpleManChannel
      @SimpleManChannel  5 місяців тому +1

      I took minoxidil for a few months then stopped for over a year. Then took it for another stint after this video, the second time I took it, it had no effect. The thing with minoxidil is it only works for a small time period then loses its effectiveness.

      The company seems shady as heck between them using your photos with someone else’s name and quote and then sending your video to someone I’m not mentioning you used any other treatment. Now they’ve changed their return policy so it’s not 100% of your money back. They charge a restocking fee in between that and the tax that they somehow are able to keep, it would cost me $600 if I returned it, which I am absolutely not willing to part with even to try the darn device.
