In this video, I'm going to reveal 5 secrets the hair loss industry doesn't want you to know. If I'd had this information when I was first diagnosed with pattern hair loss in 2007, I could've saved years of time, money, and hair.
NOTE: this video is NOT an indictment on "natural" versus "conventional" treatment options. As you'll soon see, deception is rampant on all sides.
I've fought hair loss for 14 years. Today, I'm a medical editor, peer-reviewed researcher, and the founder of Perfect Hair Health - a website dedicated to showcasing evidence-based pathways to hair regrowth built around each person's needs, preferences, and unique hair loss case.
After years of working with hair loss sufferers, I can confidently say that fighting hair loss STARTS with prioritizing education, not product purchases.
If you'd like to learn more, free free to sign for my email course on achieving hair regrowth - with or without drugs. It's everything I wish someone had told me when I first started losing my hair.

At 16 my hair was falling out all over the place. My carpet was full of hair ! Someone told me to quit consuming sugar ! I switched to honey in my tea and coffee and quit eating anything with sugar in it and my hair stopped falling out Oh! and my zits were all gone :) ! As I got older hair started to fall out again. Again someone told me to spray my hair with Rosemary water and I did and my hair is so thick now and stopped falling out. You make Rosemary water so easily. Take a few sprigs of Rosemary and boil them in water and then let it cool and pour this rosemary water into a water mister and spray it onto your scalp each night before you sleep. It works !!!!!

Thanks for sharing. I would like to point out that honey can cause cavities though.

    • @freedomzvision
      @freedomzvision 11 місяців тому +23

its true that honey causes cavities. However, when consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet and combined with good oral hygiene practices, is less likely to cause cavities compared to other sources of added sugars like sodas, candies, or highly processed foods. Honey also possesses some antimicrobial properties that may help inhibit the growth of certain bacteria in the mouth.

*Imagine, if you died right now; where would your soul go for eternity? Was everything you ever did, without purpose, and never really mattered; or will you just stop existing, after you draw your last breath? Think about this carefully, it is the most important question of your life. There is only one chance to get it right, and it is in this lifetime. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Heaven is real; place of eternal bliss, peace, joy, and perfection. Hell is real; place of eternal suffering, torment, despair, and agony. You’re going to spend your eternity, in one of those places. God's will is, that nobody would perish. One day; each and every one of us, must appear before The Judgement Seat of The Holy Righteous God, and to give an account, how we have lived our lives. The only way to get to Heaven is, if you’ve never broken any part of The God’s Law, in other words, if you’re without sin; and every single one of us have sinned, and fall short of The Glory of God. Not one person, who’s not born again from above, of The Holy Spirit of God, and is still in their sins; can not inherit The Kingdom of God; for the wages of sin is death, and eternal damnation: Our sins separates us from God. It is appointed for every single person, to die once: After that; comes The Judgement, of The Holy Almighty God.*
*But The Heavenly Father in His love and mercy, sent His only begotten Son; Jesus Christ, to atone for our sins: He left Heaven’s Throne, was God in flesh, conceived by The Holy Spirit, born of a virgin; lived a holy perfect life, while being in same temptations as we are, yet without sin; was condemned unjustly to death, although being innocent; was beaten, mocked, flogged, and crucified on the cross, and gave up His life and Blood willingly on our behalf; for there is no forgiveness of sins, without the shedding of blood: But Christ; The Spotless and Unblemished Lamb of God, The Final Perfect Sacrifice once and for all; took the punishment of our sins on the cross, sacrificed Himself for us, and paid the sin debt in full; past, present, and future; so we can be forgiven of all our sins, and be redeemed back to God; after the fall in Paradise, by satan's tempting; through The Holy Precious Blood, which Jesus shed on the middle cross at Golgotha; in His everlasting love, towards every single one of us.*
*If you truly change your mind from your unbelief towards The Lord Jesus Christ, The Holy One of Israel; and believe, have faith, and trust, with all your heart; that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, The King Messiah; The only begotten Son, of The one and only True Living God; was crucified on the middle cross at Golgotha, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose from the dead by God’s power on the third day, according to The Holy Bible, and by faith receive Him as your personal Lord and Savior; through The Holy Royal Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ; you will be saved, and are born again from above, of The Holy Spirit of God. Every sin, that weighs down your inner being; even the ones, you never dare to speak of; will be forgiven. Change your mind from your unbelief towards The Lord Jesus Christ, believe The Gospel, follow The Lord Jesus Christ; and you will spend your eternity in Heaven, with our Holy Almighty God; where is no more death, sorrow, pain nor crying.*
*John 3:16 - For God so loved the world; that He gave His only begotten Son, (Jesus Christ); that whoever believes in Him; will not perish (in Hell); but have everlasting life (in Heaven).*
*John 14:6 - The Lord Jesus Christ; said to him: ''I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: No one comes to The Father (in Heaven); but by Me.''*
*John 6:47 - (The Lord Jesus Christ; said to them:) ''Most assuredly, I say to you: He, that believes in Me; has everlasting life.''*
*John 3:3 - The Lord Jesus Christ answered; and said to him: ''Most assuredly, I say to you: Except someone is born again (from above, of The Holy Spirit of God); he cannot see The Kingdom of God.''*
*1. John 5:12 - He, who has The (only begotten) Son (of God, Jesus Christ); has (everlasting) life: And he, who does has not have The Son of God; has not (everlasting) life. **_(Religion or churches, is not what saves us: Salvation is a Person; our Lord and our God: Jesus Christ. We have connection to The Father God; through His Son, Jesus Christ; in The Holy Spirit. It is not about being outwardly religious: It is; that everyone of us, would have a personal relationship with God.)_*
*The Book of Acts 4:12 - Nor is there salvation in any other: For there is no other name under Heaven given among men, (only The Lord Jesus Christ), which we must be saved.*
*Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, The Lord Jesus; and believe in your heart, that God has raised Him from the dead; you will be saved.*
*Romans 10:13 - For whoever calls on the Name of The LORD (Jesus Christ); will be saved.*
*Romans 8:1-2 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them, who are in Christ Jesus; (who are born again from above; of The Holy Spirit of God): For the law of The Spirit of life, in Christ Jesus: Has made me free; from the law of sin, and death.*
*Romans 5:1 - Therefore, being justified by faith: We have peace with God; through our Lord, Jesus Christ.*
*Ephesians 2:8-10 - For it is by grace, you have been saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is The Gift of God: Not of works; so no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus; for good works, which God has prepared beforehand; that we should walk in them. **_(According to The Holy Bible: Salvation is completely, entirely, and 100%; by belief, faith, and trust, in The Lord Jesus Christ, by His mercy, and His finished Work of The Cross; God sees us worthy in Christ. Not one of us have lived, and will not live completely sinless; even after being born again: Only The Lord Jesus Christ lived a perfect sinless life, and fullfilled The Law perfectly. We can not earn salvation by our good deeds, and we are not kept saved by our good deeds. God has given us free will, how faithfully we want to follow Him. Forsaking sins is absolutely God’s will, but sometimes it can take a long time, and if we continue to live in sin on purpose, and intentionally: We will reap, what we sow; but God is yet merciful, and longsuffering. Even if we are bound by alcohol, drugs, lust, homosexuality, or any other sin; but we believe, have faith, and trust, with all our heart and soul in Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior; We don’t have even the smallest fear Hell; but access to Heaven, thanks to our Lord, Jesus Christ: For Christ’s Holy Divine Blood, has washed all our sins away; and we have been sealed, secured, and sanctified eternally, with The God’s Holy Spirit of promise; which quarantees our inheritance, of The Kingdom of The Merciful, Holy, Almighty God. Belief, faith, and trust, in The Lord Jesus Christ + nothing else = Salvation.)_*
*Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness, which we have done; but according to His mercy: The Lord Jesus Christ saved us; by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy Spirit.*
*Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His great love toward us, in that; while we were still sinners: The Lord Jesus Christ died for us.*
*Isaiah 1:18 - ''Come now, and let us reason together. ''Says The LORD (Jesus Christ: The Merciful, Almighty God): ''Though your sins are like scarlet; they will be as white as snow: Though they are red like crimson; they will be as wool.''*
*1. Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God, (God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob), (Jacob = Israel), and one Mediator, between God and men: The Man Christ Jesus. **_(There is only one God, in three different Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. This is called; The Holy Trinity, or; The Holy Tri Unity. There are not three different Gods: But only one God; in three different Persons.)_*
*The Book of Revelation 1:8 - (The Lord Jesus Christ; The Lion of Judah; said:) ''I am The Alpha, and The Omega; The Beginning, and The Ending.'' Says The Lord God: ''Who is, and who was, and who is to come: The Almighty.'' (The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords: The Most High God)*
*1. Peter 5:8 - Be sober minded, be vigilant: Because your adversary; the devil, (or satan, which means; accuser, or adversary); walks about, like a roaring lion: Seeking; whom he may devour.*
*John 10:10 - (The Lord Jesus Christ; The Prince of Peace; said:) ''The thief, (satan), does not come; except to steal, to kill, and to destroy: I have come, that they may have life; and that they may have it more abundantly.''*
*Ephesians 6:12 -For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood; but against principalities; against powers; against the rulers, of the darkness of this world; against the spiritual forces of evil, in the heavenly places.*
*Isaiah 41:10 - (The Lord Jesus Christ; The God of The Heavenly Armies; said:) ''Do not be afraid; for I am with you: Do not be intimidated; for I am your God: I will strengthen you, yes; I will help you: I will uphold you, with My righteous right hand.''*
*Isaiah 54:10 - ''For the mountains may depart, and the hills may be removed: But My unfailing love for you; will never be shaken: And My Covenant of Peace; will never be removed.'' Says the LORD; who has mercy on you.''*
*The Book of Revelation 22:12 - (The Lord Jesus Christ: The Maker of all, and everything; that ever exists, that has ever existed, and that will ever exist: The Holy Almighty God; said:) ''And, behold; I come quickly, and My reward is with Me: To give every man; according, as his work shall be.''*
*The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace; In Jesus Christ’s Holy, Royal, Merciful, All Powerful, and Mighty Name, Amen.*

the only "course" you need is an Rx for low dose Fin or dua combined with minox. A commitment to do scalp massage preferably with a follicle stimulating shampoo (like Nioxin Pre Clinical which has no actual nioxin in it but there are others that work too) and stick with it every day 5 to 10 minutes a day. Then patience as in months and months of patience for most people. That's what works. No course needed. But you can pay me if you want lololol. Genuinely.

I started losing hair after Covid and was referred to a dermatologist. He failed to notice I had an autoimmune disease that attacks the follicles, though he did recommend PRP. He gave me hundreds of shots for three months at $1500. It didn't work, because I had a disease and he should've done biopsies. In any case, six months later a doctor did take three biopsies and sent them to a lab. Yes, autoimmune disease and no amount of PRP was going to help.

@@stevewise1656 You and I had the same experience. I thought PRP was going to be THE treatment to stop my hair loss. I did the first year of treatment and then talked to a different doctor about transplants. He took one look at my hair follicles and said, “I may be wrong but I think you have scarring alopecia and if that’s the case transplants won’t work”. I went back to my derm and he did a biopsy which proved I did have it. To make matters worse he said that the PRP treatments were a waste of money given that I have SA. Actually, the first thing my derm said when reading the biopsy results was “when did you have malaria?”. I have never had malaria - that I know of - but I spent a lot of time traveling in Asia and got pretty sick a few times so who knows. I would think one would know if it was malaria. Anyways, he said that my blood work indicated exposure to malaria and that might be what kicked off the SA. I did notice a change in 2015 when I started losing leg/arm hair. And I saw an increase in hairline recession. What are you doing for SA? I’ve been on Propecia/Minox for years and that’s keeping it in check but I’m still losing. Receded areas are indeed shiny with no angel hairs. Thanks.

Ok, I'll tell you my experience. If it helps somebody it will be good.
I always had a very dense hair, so much that I used to wish part of it gone.
Nevertheless, about 10 years ago I started noticing a lot of hair coming out when brushing after washing. I went to dermatologists and endocrinologists and they found that my hormone levels were all very high. So they gave me spironolactone to reduce them. The problem is that I have low blood pressure so I couldn't take it.
For years the problem continued and I tried everything. From supplements to oils to infusions, natural and artificial.
Nothing really worked. The exception was amla oil which seemed to have reduced the hair loss a little.
Two years ago, I read several studies on rosemary and peppermint essential oils. Also came across another study on caffeine.
So I decided to mix liquid caffeine with rosemary essential oil. And applying it everyday with a dropper. At the same time I started minoxidil but only a few drops on the hairline and temples.
Just about 2 months after I noticed a lot of small hairs all over, especially on the top. So much that they would all stand up after washing.;)
Still the hairloss continued, even if reduced.
On January this year I fell and broke one arm. Trying to heal faster I started having calcium, vitamin D and protein supplements.
And then it was when everything changed.
My hair almost stopped falling. Well, just the normal. And the hair became much more dense.
If someone is interested you can find caffeine in powder which is quite cheap and dilute it with lukewarm boiled water, in the proportion of about 1 tea spoon to 30 ml of water. Add 30 drops of rosemary essential oil. Shake and apply everyday massaging or brushing the scalp after.
If you prefer you can buy pure liquid caffeine. I chose both forms but the liquid is easier and nicer. I buy mine from Germany.
So what is the role of caffeine? It seems to block the action of DHT on the follicles. It's very well absorbed through the scalp. Just takes about 2 minutes.
    Rosemary oil promotes blood flow.
Protein supplements are important if you are a vegetarian or don't consume enough through your diet. Also if you have assimilation problems. I take whey protein but I get it from the pharmacy. Careful with what you buy.
Important remarks: don't use hot water to dilute the caffeine. If will form a paste and be ruined.
And DO NOT EVEN THINK OF TAKING THE CAFFEINE ORALLY. IT WILL KILL YOU!

Thanks for debunking some of those popular but useless products out there, and sharing your extensive research with us. I personally have found that massaging (preferably with olive oil & coconut oil) stimulates hair growth, and rose water helps with scalp issues (flakey, oily etc.) When washing hair, avoid very hot water, and keep the water as mild as possible on the scalp. I picked up this tip late in life, but it's a VERY useful one!! As we age we do lose more & more hair and it can be quite alarming. After trying many different (SAFE & mild) products, I found that massaging (gently) at least once or twice daily without oil & once a week with oil helps improve hair growth. Hope you don't mind my sharing these tips on your platform. ✌

My family have accused me for years of having hair replacement because they have lost their hair and i mostly haven't. I am a 6w5, known for being a very self sufficient problem solver. I refuse to wear hats. I massage my head vigorously while washing in the shower and get a complete rinse. I have my wife to scratch my head aggressively once a week. She digs to the point of some bleeding at times. This is because the head forms clogs and layers that hinder hair growth. Digging open those areas deep in the scalp is highly beneficial. When does she stop scratching? When it hurts enough. It goes from feeling amazing to OUCH!! Scratching needs to penetrate the scalp deep enough. A barber told me years ago to never cut my hair short or it wouldn't grow back. He was wrong. I've figured out what works for me and its largely mechanical. And i find it unwise that people would swallow supplements and drugs to solve the problem. The FDA cannot be trusted. And just because nobody has reported an effect doesn't mean there isn't one that will play out years later. I am skepitcal of taking advice from anyone who is selling something related.

Compliments on being willing to do something about your hair.
The women in my family who have been lifelong junk foodies, bordering on heavy drinking then turning to medications instead of making lifestyle changes do tend to have thinning hair by the age of 30. Most of them have lost all of their hair by age 45.
They were negative examples while being great warnings of what to NOT do. My hair didn't start thinning, yet, I still made lifestyle & diet changes. In my 20s, I began eating as natural as possible. Also, I began including a natural protein with every meal as well as turning to a protein as a snack when needed.
The last time I went to a family get together, I was told I got "lucky" with my genetics. I had tried to tell them in the past, what I had discovered. I tried to tell them in as kindly of a way as possible while still telling what worked for me.
It was not received very well.
I keep doing what I'm doing with a full, lush, healthy head of hair.

I am in my 50's and suddenly found my hair falling out in huge clumps. Maybe due to menopause and stress, not sure. The first PRP treatment stopped shedding by about 90%. I had two more treatments and did not see an increased benefits and I have not noticed any hair regrowth from any of the treatments. I just started micro needling using a stamp rather than a roller. I follow the stamp with a blend of oils (castor, pumpkin, rosemary hip) and essential oils (frankincense, ylang ylang). The answer take hot as hell showers (not scalding hot but not far from it) every night (do a cool down to normal shower temperatures after 3-5 minutes)-I believe this helped in my case cause I probably had clogged pores as now I can actually sweat which I was not able to do very well before so I avoided hot weather like the plague. I don’t know if wounding your scalp more often will boost growth factors any more than normal but I’m not risking causing further damage by maintaining my scalp in a chronic state of inflammation. Amazing channel, big thanks for telling truth! PRP didn’t work for me at all. Minoxidil only kept hair from falling, but when I stopped it all that hair fell out in three weeks. Biotin and vitamins gave zero results. Finasteride, 0.1% solution, which is equivalent to 1mg fin per day gave me side effects. Unfortunately I’m very sensitive to it. Topical solution of 0.02% (0.2mg fin per day) has no side effects so I stick to it for 1 month already. The only one thing that really worked for me is laser (a professional big machine in clinics) combined with Indiba (professional machine for improving blood circulation, it kind of warms up your skin with Radio frequency). I’d say that Indiba gave 80% of overall results and laser only 20%, because I tried that single laser before with almost zero success. Results are next: hair stopped falling out, regrowth around 10-15% on the fourth month at the moment

One thing that everyone should try is also probiotics + egg combo, it won't hurt you and it's quite cheap. The best probiotics is milk kefir (although I believe milk is inflamatory and not that health, for the hair is the best probiotic or at least the one that worked better for me), and 1-2 eggs just to have these nutrients the hair needs. Don't underestimate the power that these probiotics have.
      About the massage...
So, it didn't really change that much, my hair still falls on average 5-12 per session, I still didn't notice regrowth.
My method is, I go on the edge of the bed and position my head towards the ground, kinda upside down, and I cover it with white paper so I know for sure how many hairs are falling. After the session, some hairs are still trapped on your hair, but they fall as result of your massage, so I try to pass my hand in my scalp to get rid of them so I know for sure how many hairs did fall.
The hair texture definitely improved, but it's because the blood flow or you're inducing natural oil production on your scalp?
I definitely would say for anyone that is doing it to give it a try, for me I kinda incorporated this on my daily, so it's not annoying as it was before, but I made a commitment with myself to stay on this for 1 year and see what changes.
I didn't buy anything from Robert, I just got the tips from massaging, so I actually didn't get deep in his website or any of his other methods.
About minoxidil, this gave me a heart condition where I can't use it anymore. I was using for the beard tho. Finasteride I will never use.

I'm sure you come with good intentions here, but I had some real noticeable side effects with Finasteride. I had very weak erections and semen density was noticeably lower. Once I stopped the medicine - within a week it was back to rock hard erections and everything else was back to normal. Between sexual dysfunction and less hair I reluctantly chose the latter. This is no joke and I'm glad for those whom this medicine is working

I'm definitely not here to knock your video, it does an excellent job explaining how companies publish studies to benefit their product sales, and can/will hide information or misconstrue data. Absolutely on the nose.
I will say though - I'm a 31 year old woman, and my hair had been thinning for 5 years. For unrelated reasons, I recently started supplementing B vitamins, and putting Nutritional Yeast in my food, and I noticed my hair is coming back to pre-thinning levels. It was the only thing I changed about my diet, so I looked into it, and there's a link, to my surprise.
I think there are a lot of possible reasons, mine just happened to be related to B vitamins, which I had stumbled upon completely coincidentally.
It's definitely worth doing your research over blindly buying products. Simple education can spare you a lot of time, money, and sometimes even suffering.

As a physician, I have seen cases of post finasteride syndrome. It is a rare but devastating and PERMANENT loss of sexual function. Men describe a kind of numbness of the genitalia accompanied by severe, even suicidal depression. It’s a risk I’m not willing to take and I don’t prescribe it.
As a female, I can say most women don’t care one bit if a man has hair or not.
I’ll take fitness and sexual function over hair any day. My husband is very fit and sexy without hair, and I like him just the way he is.

This video is completely geared toward men. I am not a man. If you are a woman watch with caution. Some women may come here and hear what you’re saying and they would be hearing incorrect information.
I use a good shampoo to stop excessive shedding, a serum twice a day on my scalp (which has grown hair) and take nutrients and supplements and not only has my telogen effluvium improved, but so has my androgenic hair loss, better than it has been in 20 years. I also do rosemary oil massage and I exfoliate my scalp with a gentle chemical exfoliant once a month. I do NOT do microneedling and I wouldn’t suggest it for women. We don’t wash our hair every day and we use styling products so microneedling can be a big problem, causing pimples on the scalp, which can cause more hair loss. Also women should not use finasteride.
Biotin DOES work to do what WOMEN want it to do- not to grow more follicles, but grow hair and nails LONGER. Absolutely works.
Also, rosemary oil does work, as does massage, in fact, they work very well together. Rosemary oil purifies the scalp and helps unclog the follicles. Also rosemary leaf extract works and makes the hair appear thicker. It can be used in your shampoo or styling product.
Finally, to get the best results, you have to pay at this gentleman’s website, so he’s definitely selling you something here.
It’s not as free as he may make it seem, but there is a good deal of free information there.
PS It’s Seborrheic, not pronounced “seboric.” seb-bor-EE-ick.

I can't say my hair is back to normal but every time I shower I see less hair on the floor.

Only Finasteride together with Minoxidil (either tablet form or topical liquid) will help reverse hairloss, but only then if the hair has miniaturised. Once it's lost and the follicle has died it cannot be brought back to life. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is responsible for male pattern baldness so reducing that is key. Finasteride reduces DHT significantly which improves the hair follicle strength. Minoxidil wont prevent hairloss, but it does stimulate new hair growth from a dying (not dead) follicle. There are some products that reduce DHT like ketoconazole at 2% branded as Nizoral. That's it. Everything else is either fake or still experimental. There is some evidence to show microneedling helps when used in conjunction with Finasteride and Minoxidil.

    • @laniakeas92

No. If the roots are dead - they are dead completely.
Though they could be in sleeping state, this way even after a long pause - they can grow back. You should visit a hair specialist to for them to tell you if there are sleeping follicles on your head or they are dead forever.
Chances they are dead higher if you are a male.
