- I'm back with a quick exploration of an abandoned elementary school in Eastern Kentucky. It was being used to store a little bit of everything and people had also begun to set up temporary residence inside. I hope this video finds everyone well, I've been busy but doing great.

I'm a retired teacher myself. Why didn't the school district clear out that building and have a surplus property auction? I'll bet my bottom dollar that school is in eastern Kentucky. So many school administrators in that part of the state have no notion nor care of how to manage a penny. Just seems to be part of the culture.

It's so crazy how much stuff is still there left when it could have been used. Great video. All the old schools in Ohio are either gone or private residents now. Cam to sub and support. Many happy explores.
I wonder how many of the students who attended the school imagined it as an abandoned place---and now it it is!---As with many other abandoned places it looks like there's quite a bit of usable material there but that seems to have been forgotten.---From what we see outside it appears to be a beautiful, peaceful location out in the country.

Doesn't this make anyone angry there in that city... Their tax dollars went to build a purchase everything you see and instead of reusing or recycling things and taking care of the building and it's contents it's left with food on the stoves and furniture rotting as well as the building decaying.
I think I recognize this place. It was turned into a daycare-type facility after they built a new school.
I am very interested in this school to renovate for business. Can you please tell me the township or school name so I can contact the school district??? Perhaps I could bring life back into these halls. Thankx.
Ky. state government should over the school since the local school board has abandoned it. Ky. should use the school, give it to some charity, or treat it as a bankruptcy.
Extremely wasteful. So many Things left inside plus the building itself just left to rott.
