30:45 Oh you foresaw his intentions? Did you foresee him picking a berry, corrupting the universe with said berry, and then teleporting halfway across the world to show off?
Zigzagoon used Tackle! Wild Ralts fainted! U: "..........." Zigzagoon: "...........(Now where's that EXP I was promised?)" Norman: "............" Wally: "...............I did it! It's my... My pokemon!" Ralts: X_X
When they do this, they’re waiting for the right RNG seed to be able to land a crit or get a high damage range so that they can knock out the Pokemon quicker.
Something i could suggest: You could find a TM for Earthquake or some other all-hitting move and fight those double battles and save some time. Or is there some catch I’m not seeing?
TM26 (Earthquake) isn't available until Seafloor Cavern before fighting Archie. Since we skip that, there's no way to get it. Surf is also good enough as it is. Granted, it may or may not be faster to do a double battle in Route 118. It will have to be tested. Maybe when I get the time and motivation to revisit this one.
Gotcha. I was also thinking of something like Muddy Water which your starter learns naturally, although you never raised it enough to have the opportunity to learn that move. And I’m sure Magnitude is a similar story to Earthquake. (I would also recommend Discharge, but 1. I’m pretty sure that move didn’t exist in Gen3 and 2. You wouldn’t have any Pokémon that can learn it.)
Gotta love it when a tas glitches it's way into areas oob just to shave 5 seconds by doing a potentially game crashing trick, or glitches a level 5 magikarp, level 16 marshstomp,lv 6 geodude and level 4 nincada into the hall of fame. Tas is weird. Tool assisted speedrun or tool assisted-sheesh!.
Imagine the confusion if you as a kid saw wally kill the ralts like that
And then use it later to battle with
Just like how I remember playing it back in the day.
I still use my emulators.
Emerald is still my favorite game...
Thank you for bringing back the memories :)
You can still play it on your phone
1:03:40 When he picked that pomeg berry I knew weird shit was about to happen

I never knew that the starting home in emerald actually change depending on whether you're a boy or girl
cant even tell this vid is in 144p
Daniel oh my god my life is a lie
did you corrupt the game enough so you got the bad egg and you unlocked the ability to fly to ever grande despite never visiting it?
A critical hit!

I'm confused. How are you able to get that many crittical hits in a row? And why do your enemys attack fail often? Im generaly confused.
UGH!!! I wish I could do that glitch but everytime I try I screwed everytime!!!!!
Why does it sometimes cycle through moves like it does at 33:39?

@@arctisCircle Wow! That's really interesting! Thanks for the answer.

Allows for more rng manipulation saving time
So many critical hits, also no wild encounters. What's going on here?
RiBo rng manipulation
TAS+RNG
21:46 what Happened here? Rip that entire second lmao
she was waiting to hit crit frames, she was just fucking around with the moves
@@damovlogs4486 It was crit and also not fainting.
I've noticed a lot of rse use the female avatar. Is it slightly faster to use the female than male?
+Maio-Kun RPGMaro we all know woman talk less ^^
MajoubJohnson10 You've clearly never gone shopping with one
+Kappa Kiev In speedrun, it's mainly because the rival fights have different Pokemon, and they are easier to tank/kill if you pick the female player.
Kappa Kiev my god, it's my whole childhood T_T
+Sage Hane Common sense has been unleashed
When will the wrong warp be incorporated into this TAS?
