Good video, a few weeks ago i created innerspace plans for our office building, it works fine, but I'm a bit disappointed that I can't add data plugs to the walls, like it's possible in the designcenter. I hope they add this, the same with cable routing.
since you have connections ask add sheet metal, for kennels, warehouses, storage units etc and add a list of all unifi devices for pre-deployment - thanks
Magicplan is awesome, thanks for the recommendation! I am trying to figure out how to add cameras to Innerspace because my unifi UNVR "protect" has it's own IP and is not part of the "network" on the main console....so....innerspace doesn't see the cameras. Did I mess up setting up the NVR? Is there a way to keep it as part of the main network so I don't have to navigate to a separate IP to access NVR?
Do you know if there is any plan to bring this to the network application server? It’s a real pain to have to keep going back to the legacy interface to get this feature.
the idea is good but even the Design Center is not really useful. it feels like a beta. a lot of devices missing and they should add "general devices" so that i can place my computers and so on.
**Note** you can do multiple floors. But it’s not going to show wifi coverage bleeding over to those floors , interference etc
this is a bummer, the web application had the same limitation, wish they'd add that.
So basically pointless for a tri-level...
Thanks for the tip about Magic Plan app. Exactly what I was looking for to generate a floor plan of my house 🏡.
Just a note, when you set the plan scale, it should have been a vertical line. Horizontally that rear patio is 16+19=35 feet wide, and 16 feet deep.
Yup 😂 I caught that in editing its not my house anyways was doing it more of an example
@@MactelecomNetworks easy mistake. had to double take on that one.

It would be cool if we could see in the floorplan all clients and to which AP they are connected to. Similar like the topography view, but on the map
i would like to see them do innerspace as a 3d model that can give you multi level wifi and 360°x360° rotation

I already did this with the web application they've had for awhile, I wonder if you can import that over.
Great tool, but does not allow for multiple floors?
Wish there was an option to import direct from the design studio. I built it all in there, I'd rather not re do it all
Exactly what I would like to do. Is it really not possible to import the Design Center plan into InnerSpace? 😳
Do affiliate links work for the Canadian store for you?

Try configuring Dream Machine to give out DHCP and give IP to UNVR and cams and you ll be able to.

I have a lot of them in design, with I could migrate them local without having to redraw them.
In the Design Center you could use a Rack and mount your Devices.
Ya but I think it’s limited to some devices
@@MactelecomNetworks Yes thats true. hope they bring more devices...
Thanks!
Thanks for the super thanks :)
Thanks.

Probably fine for business users but a bit of a pain for home users where we (at least I) rely on the bleed through of wifi between floors.
