If you box has any damage when it gets delivered, take lots of pictures and dont sign for it.
I love this era of UA-cam, average folks can make enough money to finally follow their original passions in life. Judos!
Wheelchairs are not relevant to me or really anyone I know but I know that they are to many people and I love what you guys are doing! Keep up the good work! I'll donate when I can and spread the word!
It's advertised as NOT a wheelchair
Just got my wheelchair bound wife's this afternoon, now my father-in-law wants one if I mount his oxygen bottle. Lol
They want to race around our pastures 😂
Being so new to using a wheel chair this not a wheel chair looks like great fun and maybe even a little freedom!
But I don’t ever think I will be able to buy one but I have fun watching other people getting one and see there faces after there first use!
I really love the journey you started, solving an actual problem for the disabled.
Wasn't it two bikes and a wheelchair for a staet?
I started similar, a lightweight trike, ending in AWD, so fairly terrain capable and fits in a trunk of a smaller car.
Some videos on my own channel.
Keep up the spirit and invention
Oh man! What I would do to have one of these!!!
Isn't it possible to design the packaging so that a person in a wheelchair can unbox the rig? Like for example as some TV boxes open frome the bottom and you lift only the cardboard box over the TV an then you have access to everything or maybe you can build in something like a cardboard door at the front or back where you can roll the rig out of the box? I love how you enable people and I would love to see how you can get your packaging to be more inklusive, so more people can order, unpack and drive your rigs on there own without the need of help from someone else. 😊
I mean you can just destroy the box. nothings stopping you from just cutting front of it out and just rolling it off.
I just unboxed one an hour ago. I cut down the end on either side and rolled it out. Watch for the staples, they are brutal. Lol
Just unboxed and assembled, bought the extra battery but trying to figure out seat adjustment to get key out. Lol
The display reminds you that e-bikes usually have lights. Why don't you offer headlights for the rig?
the goal of rig was to be something cheap, not something fancy with a lot of features, a lot of safety, a lot of tests, a lot of certifications and an XXXL price. And being made in the US.
You can do better for less money, but not with US workers. But maybe if it was made abroad, you could not import it without proper certifications.
Put aftermarket lights.
Meh those can easily be purchased by the user. Keep cost low is priority
Any safety options for side arms to prevent falling out the side?
The key lost not replaceable seems like a flaw Maybe do what automakers do keep the key digitally so it can be replicated. I can call the dealer right now have the key made. It’s a simple solution for lost keys.
I Agree with this person and the other person about headlights, if you lose your key you are screwed and if you don't have headlights the police consider it to be a health and safety issue if you have to ride after dark. I have a friend who is capable of operating a regular peddle bike who was stopped and given a warning by a local cop about not having headlights in front and reflectors in the back when he was riding his bike home after dark. I myself am special needs and really want this bike. Does anyone know of any agency that can help me get one of these RIGs with two batteries and that thing on the back for bringing my stuff with me? Thank you!
Be more careful with YOUR keys,
Let’s goooo
waiting for new video and new wheelchair related stuff
Where can I buy one in Australia ?? Please
Hi, do you ship to France or anywhere in Europe ?
I made something like that to replace an amputated limb.
Why do did you choose to ship the rig with a dome of cardboard on the top.
When they unfold the top it doesnt look like the rig comes higher then the sides of the box.
So that other boxes don’t get stacked on top of it during shipping. It’s just another safety step to make sure it doesn’t get damaged in transit
To stop shippers from stacking heavy objects on top. If you look on the inside of the box, there are no support pillars so if something heavy is placed on top, the whole package could collapse, damaging the chair and rig.
Can it be supplied with two batteries? I would imagine there is an additional charge/cost.
Yes, we can ship it with two batteries installed. its $700 for the additional battery
why are the batteries mounted sideways? that can't be the best idea or am i wrong? (it will wiggle more tear this way) - cheerz from germany
because they want the batteries to be accessible from a wheelchair standing next to the rig, and they want the space behind the chair to be free for a payload.
Would all wheel drive version give more climbing power or a front hub?
we are working on a 4WD version, hoping it will be ready sometime in March/April
@@notawheelchairjust got my wife's today, trying to figure out the seat adjustment so I can get key in and out of second battery.
How are you coming on the 4wd model It's the end of March?@@notawheelchair
No seatbelt?
There is a company called Outrider that seems to copy your idea?
Need this bike, please help to get this..🙏🏼
This would be a great idea for tour companies to offer to people with mobility issues so they could be involved in walking or hiking tours and not feel excluded.
Missed the price
I put a link to your website in a reply to a comment to show them the price. The entire reply was deleted by the UA-cam algorithm.
Why post a link when it’s in the description
The non replacement for the keys is hugely negative!
Not a fan of those seats, needs to be more substantial
What about weight requirements, seems like your max is kinda low, like designed for petite woman only? How about increasing to an industry standard of 400lb. Would open your product up to so much more people. And you could compete with action track chair for of road type accessibility? And also starting the medicare and veterans affairs approval process. Being a veteran I would love to have a chair like this, my track chair is so limited on distance, and also speed. Please consider these suggestions. Thank you
My son has Muscular Dystrophy and is unable to go deer hunting with me as much as he would like this chair seems like it would be perfect for that how much does One cost?
