"I really didn't see a point in living a life from a wheelchair"

We are a relatively newer company called Not a Wheelchair. You might have heard about us from our founder "Jerry Rig Everything". But we've recently expanded our HQ to a massive 26,000 sq ft warehouse, and it's time to transform this new house into our new home. Any plans for high level quadriplegics with no movement below the shoulder using a chin conntrol?
Hey Taylor, your chair looks pretty beat-up; you better get a new one!!! :)
But where can you legally drive this? Law limit use..
This girl inspires me.
That's amazing but also sad that it took so long for us to make things more accessible for disabled people. Nobody should lose the will to live because living feels out of their reach. Better late than never though.
You are awesome, Taylor!
Awesome work Taylor. I don't rely on a wheelchair 100 %. I am considered Ambulatory. I can ride a bike, a recumbent trike, but cant walk farther than half a city block at most. I have (Functional Neurological Disorder). Mimics a Stroke. Stories such as yours are always so inspiring. I thank you for sharing with us. I cant afford a wheelchair yet but I don't let it stop me from getting out when in better health (My body doesn't regulate heat well anymore). I hope you keep sharing your adventures and show others that there is still so much to experience in life. You are an awesome, beautiful person with a lot more amazing shenanigans to live! Once again, thnk you for bringing us along. Keep up the great work.
Great message Taylor
Thank you for this. I used to be a runner and worked in academic medicine. My accident damaged my brain and put me in a chair. It gets hard sometimes to keep a positive mindset. It helps hearing others who have similar stories
Inspirational
I applaud you Taylor. You are proof that life goes on, and that we decide if we will enjoy it or not. I am so thrilled that you keep on enjoying life.
Amen!
@@notawheelchair Keep on showing all of us how to see how precious life really is.
👍👍🫵🪨❤️❤️
<- born with a disability leaving me with capabilities similar to Taylor. This story made me smile. Making peace with the depression that comes from being disabled is HARD... and you did it, Taylor -- GO YOU!!
What a great video! All the best to Taylor and the est of the team. What a moving video :)
Thank you for sharing this wonderful message and this wonderful person with us!

Epic!!!
Should the rig have a lower center of mass?
Gross
This company is a joke. My profession is in new construction ADA compliance and I know way more than this guy about making a compatible electric mobility chair than this guy who married a woman with limp legs and thinks his joke of a product will apply to every physically disabled person. I've seen reviews of his 2 electric bike chair thing and it's terrible.

If only I had the money to buy my partner one of these amazing machines. Woodland walks could be a thing again!
How big is the flag! 👀
60x30 feet. Its huge
That’s way bigger than my house. Wow that’s a hell of a flag
Now that's cool
What happened to her? Why she is on wheelchair?
Regular bicycle tires can't be used?!
What a great idea. How about using a gas engine?
What a great invention you guys that’s going to be helpful for a lot of individuals. I wanna go out and adventure or the ones that are handicapped. Great job
i thought the guy that opened the door in the beginning was jerryrigeverything
It is.
Wow that's cool 😎 love it
WOW
Can you rig a solar panel on it to get more battery life?
Does it roll on 3?😂
This is awesome 😎💯
Very cool 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Very good job, I am extremely impressed!!!
I have no need for a wheelchair but that looks awesome!!
Excellent
Nice * but it still needs work for everyday needs 😅

Cool 🆒😎
I love the concept of the chair as it would do great on rough terrain. But 12k for a chair like that? Not even a thought to be affordable. Majority of people on income cannot afford this. Let alone insurance sure as hell won't pay for a chair like this. Price is what ruins the whole concept. Specially when they can afford to build an underground bunk in their backyard. Maybe a more reasonable price that people can afford would work. But not 12k.
You have no clue what your talking about. Stop it. You go take your personal money to fund a company you don't financially profit from that you helped found in order to help people. They are making them as cheap as they currently can. You don't have to buy one or watch these videos. Zack can do as he wishes with his money. Things like build bunkers, donate to charities, try to better the world. And your doing?.........
12k is, unfortunately, extremely affordable in the offroad mobility market. Similar chairs/adabtaped ATVs can quickly cost 30k+. Of course it would be nice to bring the prices down even further, but with current tech prices, 12k is actually cheap.
@@JeffRobertson-m7v FYI I do know what I am talking about. I have used manual and power-wheelchairs of various kinds for 50 yrs. Yes I was born disabled. I do know how it works. I know how companies of various wheelchair designers work and how they jack up the price. So only people can get what they need through insurances. If they do not have insurance there is no wheelchair of any kind. As power-wheelchairs alone can be quoted at 52K or higher, and as I mentioned many cannot afford a 12K off road wheelchair without insurance. Insurance won't pay for offroad wheelchair as it is considered leisure not a medical necessity through insurance eyes. Enjoy your Wed.
👍👍🫵🪨 I hope you impress the hell out of him and I hope he liked it a lot. Sincerely, Chuck.
how does it do going down hill on the same terrain with the seat been slightly forward
dam i wish i could afford one maybe on day awesome machine
Technical: you absolutely NEED to add seatbelts, especially if it's meant to go faster than walking speed, And double if offroad. Without IT you can't be able to remain in control. And use the damn helmet.
This thing is pretty cool. I would own one
What's the cost and can I get it in Canada?
I bought the packout parts (base, toolbox and crate), installed them on my Rig and it works great!!! Very versatile as well since you can mix and match different components based on needs. Great Idea!!!!
10 thousand dollar wheelchair isnt affordable Jerry sorry pal Why wouldn't i just buy a four wheeler sounds smarter to me and i dont have to worry about battery power
