- I hope you enjoyed this life-changing Scar Vlog riding the amazing Not A Wheelchair "RIG" off-road wheelchair. We took the off-road wheelchair on super-speed runs up and down the street and up hills and into my backyard for the first time in 15 years. The RIG is an all-electric off-road wheelchair that can travel on rough backcountry trails and drive up to 12MPH on paved roads. The RIG was designed and built by Zack and his wife from "JerryRigEverything" UA-cam channel. A huge thank you to them for sending this generous gift to me! My sister has been in a wheelchair her whole life. She rarely goes out anywhere and when she does, it's either the hospital for a doctor's visit, or school. So I understand what you're going through...a little bit... and seeing you getting all excited to move around and go outside and other places is really heartwarming. One day, I hope to see my sister as excited to do these things as you are. You're amazing and I love the content, but this definitely hit home for me

You know so many of us just take things for granted like sitting on a bench or actually being able to go outside and go to our backyard whenever we want. I really happy Scar got to do this
once I had an injury and couldn't walk for 2 months and that was one of the worst feelings in my life so I know what is joy from doing a normal thing you couldn't before but his case is in a whole new level even I cannot imagine

It's great to see that even the smallest of things can change someone's whole world, and to see someone so happy even in some of the toughest circumstances, it just makes me so happy. (and kinda emotional :,)
I'm really glad Scar was able to do this. From almost losing Jellie to being more crippled then usual by his illness, the man deserves some happiness in this awful awful time.
I know you didn’t mean for your comment to sound offensive but crippled is quite an offensive word to disabled people so I would suggest changing it.

Please be aware that most disabled people do not like the word crippled. I understand what you're saying, but crippled to me always suggests that we (disabled people) are living a 'lesser' version of an abled person's life. There are things we cannot do, of course, but since the word 'cripple' is generally used to insult us, it's not a word we tend to like.
(Obviously I do not speak for the entire disabled community, but the general consensus is that cripple is not a great word to use) 💕
We all need to put Scar's behaviour as our life style. We are hating the world every day, insisting how terrible it is. Yet this man, who cannot even freaking WALK, makes a paradise out of literally everything. We can all have good times with this world, because we're being treated with goodtimeswithscar. If the god took away legs from you, he gave you the biggest heart ever! God bless you Scar

I'm not specifically pointing my finger at anyone and saying "hey this guy has a terrible life but he's strong be like him" I'm saying if any of us ever feel like it's the end for us, we shall remember there's always hope.

It really is the little things you miss the most! I was unable to walk more than a few meters and needed a cane just to make it down my own hallway for 5 years, and after 8 operations and LOTS of physiotherapy I can finally walk around more and the places I missed being the most were just spots out on nature. Some places I could go in a wheelchair, but having the freedom to go there without needing to be pushed? LEGITIMATELY made me cry

I can really feel the joy coming out through this video and it's amazing - my sister wasn't able to walk a few years ago and we took a similar offroad chair out to Scotland, and for the first time in years she was able to visit beaches and climb hills with us. I'm so glad you've been able to use one of these Scar, they're truly life changing

I’m new to this experience of being stuck indoors due to a spine condition. It’s been a year since I’ve been outside for longer than a few minutes… so, the little things.. I can really relate. Thank you for doing this video.. it’s inspired me to not only seek out a machine like this… but, to get back outside!! Cheers!!

Videos like this make me so happy. I’m disabled and my conditions have gotten worse over the years and I lost a lot of things I used to be able to do, but seeing Scar gain something back and have so much fun gives me hope that I’ll be able to gain stuff back too

It’s so cool how many of the hermitcraft/Minecraft community members are commenting on this video showing their support. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many of the hermits commenting on the same video before. Seems like a lot of his online friends truly care about him and that’s a beautiful thing.
I have consistently been impressed by what a decent bunch the Hermits are.
Nice that you noticed and brought that up. I’m a paraplegic myself and just by a fluke came across this video tonight. This is exactly the kinda unit I’ve been dreaming about.
Online friends can be really good friends who can pull you through a lot. The hermits seem like they all have each other’s backs, which is wonderful to see.
@@applepeachbirdduckmaster801 I don't have any online only friends (it's probably an age thing) but you are absolutely right. The Hermits always behave well towards each other and are just as supportive as you'd hope any real life friend would be. They are a great example of how friends should behave towards each other. In a way, Hermitcraft is an anarchy server. No-one imposes rules on them. However, unlike say 2b2t, they behave like the residents of a small country village rather than the dregs of a dystopian future metropolis where anything goes, no matter how obnoxious.

When getting on and off, there is a latch at the bottom of handles that allows the handle to be moved so it's not in your way.
I thought there must be something like that and they somehow missed it. Because anyone who makes mobility aids for disabled people would certainly know that it wouldn't always be possible to have help.
