Successful fix here! Had to pick up the channel lock pliers seen in the vid...get the biggest one (4.25 in. capacity)
This guy is GOOD, right on.
The chain has three slots Center, off center and close to edge. What is the purpose and what do they do? Asking for a friend. 🙄

why is the original fluidmaster valve white and the consumer ones colored
This flap restricts you from using enough water to flush, unless you stand there and hold the handle down. I don't like this flap for not using enough water.
It is smaller than American standard 3 inch flush valve and doesn't fit right...
And it will keep refilling every 10 minus.
