Are you reconing the second sub or are you hanging onto your 2nd recone incase one blows? I need to get myself a coil STAT! I'm guessing he got a second sub. His first sub was a dual 2 wired parallel at 1 ohm. Maybe he got a second dual 4 ohm sub, and he wants to change the first sub to 4 ohm so he can wire them in parallel parallel down to 1 ohm.
Well, the fan Boys will always tell you it's user error. But as the fails add up, I'm sure we can call it quality control as well. I'm sure there are many user error fails, but if it's the spider or tinsels breaking, then it's quality. Coils are definitely mostly user error, but the soft parts are typically quality. Not bashing Orion, but it is what it is. All subs have their weaknesses, at least so far in my experience. Of course, I haven't tried them all.
They're probably sold out Jeff. If you've checked on ebay, and Amazon and you haven't seen any then there aren't any. They sell out quite frequently ever since the trade happenings of 2020. I went ahead and bought a couple other subs so I could keep my bump!

This is the link, but there's something wrong with the recones I purchased. The spiders are totally messed up. They have no linearity, and they stick causing the sub to pop and distort. I'm going to make a video about it soon. I switched to Fi. I'm going to see whether they're any good or not. I know there's a lot of "fanboys" out there, but I can't afford that lol. I buy what works at the best price point. Unfortunately, I don't have a ton of experience with other brands. Just Kicker, Skar, and Orion. Here's the link. They're still out tho. They're usually pretty hard to get a hold of. But if you Google it, you'll find up someone, but that doesn't mean they're holding.

I got mine from Amazon. They're sold out now. You can get them from one of 2 dealers on Ebay or Amazon at double the price they used to be.

How much did the recone cost for the 15?
In May of 2020, thru Amazon I paid 200 a cone. In August 2020 thru eBay, I paid around 177 a cone for 12s. I paid around 200 for the 152 cone.

You can find them on ebay and Amazon when they have them in stock. They're getting harder and harder to buy.
