My daughter chose the same dress Nana chose. It was beautiful and everyone was amazed at how beautiful she looked. She wore a crystal edged veil and swaroski crystal headband with with pearl and crystal earrings and bracelet that we had custom made. That dress dazzles!
My bridal shop already included alteration cost in the price plus accesories rental and my veil were free (as my wedding dress not rented so can get free cost on some other things. If rented, they probably will charge the acccesories and veil). I guess it depends on shops.
Why did they not show her an actual ballgown..like the bar was literally there..and the first dress they showed her was a fitted one and she asked for complete opposite
perhaps they did. The actual filming takes a few hours and they go through about twenty dresses but only show the 2-4 dresses that help with the storyline of the TV show. Ballgowns are also usually more expensive so it does limit your options. So perhaps she didn't like them.
She said no strapless yet they put her in 2 strapless dresses? Then when she said again that she wanted straps they added a bolero?? Are they really saying they don’t have a single lace dress that isn’t strapless?? 🤦🏼♀️

SHADY SHADY SHADY.... so what if it is her second wedding?? she deserves to look beautiful isn't she? Edit: The second bride should have gone to Lancashire and Gok would have given her Cinderella dream with first dress itself Edit 2: Can I just say my jaw dropped when I saw the last bride, she looks so freaking beautiful, especially her skin tone and when she put on that Tiara....I got goosebumps... a Goddess... Yes, the old fashioned idea that a 2nd marriage bride doesn't deserve to have as fancy a dress as she had for her first wedding is no longer applicable today, because 2nd marriages are so common now.
@Angel Bulldog Exactly! I'm old school (and old). IMHO wearing a white wedding gown to your second wedding isn't appropriate. Even Camilla didn't do that when she married Charles at the castle.
@Angel Bulldog Not true. The white wedding dress fashion started with Queen Victoria, and it was nothing to do with virginity. From Wikipedia: 'Less than a decade [after Victoria's wedding], Godey's Lady's Book would incorrectly claim that white wedding gowns were an ancient custom reflecting a bride's virginity, writing "Custom has decided, from the earliest ages, that white is the most fitting hue, whatever may be the material. It is an emblem of the purity and innocence of girlhood, and the unsullied heart she now yields to the chosen one", even though white had been a distinctly uncommon choice for bridal gowns before Victoria's wedding and was not chosen by a majority of brides until decades later.' Also, David wasn't saying that the dress shouldn't be white or sexy, he was implying that it should be less grand because it's a second wedding.
Yeah, it was the Lady consultant that suggested to the bride putting on that magnificent bolero over the top of the sleeveless dress. That stunning bolero completed the perfect look the bride was looking for.
It’s actually quite common to think that edginess and frivolity is for the early 20s. It’s her personal opinion of herself. It took me a long time to comprehend the concept, but once embraced, I’ve never been embarrassed in hindsight again. Never arrived to an occasion, since, where I suddenly felt foolish. When we acknowledge that time goes by, we stop seeing ourselves in a fantasy mirror, and embrace who we are, today. There’s nothing more pitiful than a woman frozen in time. Saying “It makes me feel pretty” is loudly proclaiming that you’re stuck in the past, and cannot accept yourself as you are. That’s definitely not a positive thing. That is, at minimum, a self esteem problem.

1:59 In my opinion it doesn't matter if it's the bride's 1st or 5th wedding. If she wants something white and big and blingy, let her wear it. I understand that the first bride wanted something grown up and elegant, but the way David said that it's her 2nd wedding so it _shouldn't_ be too glam, didn't quite sit right with me.
The first bride's choice was like a dream come to life. It was simple yet stunning. I Love how happy she was. The third bride looked beautiful in general, but was radiant in her choice, even though mermaid isn't my favorite. I hope the second bride found what she needed in time, without having to compromise her vision.
Maybe it's the editing, but I feel like the consultants also aren't very good? They always go way over budget and don't give the brides what they asked for, and David and the older women are kind of rude as well.
For the second bride ...she just going to have to have her dress created for her... It probably cost more than what she can find on the display models but it makes her happy go ahead. 🤔 I don't believe in spending a lot for a wedding dress but we're all different. ✌️
Why get a strapless when she specifically mentioned "no strapless" and give her a bolero to cover it up? Isnt it easier to find a dress with a similar actual top?

But you don't mind when he does it. When David does it, comments are "I hate David."
1st bride: looked amazing. But she had a 2k budget and the dress was 1800. Plus the little jacket, the vail, and the alterations. They give the brides the price of the dress, show them a final look for them to fall in love with, and how many brides say yes only to have to say no when they see the final bill? If a bride says 2k on the budget, and you know alterations are going to be 300-500 don’t show them a 1950 dress making them think they are in budget. 2nd bride: dress was very pretty but I agreed that she looked like she was playing dress up. She wasn’t happy. Wish she would see Gok. He would take care of her. 3rd bride: OMG she’s so beautiful. And she looked amazing in her dress. She was absolutely glowing!

The 3rd bride looks amazing in stark white ,that's rare.I actually liked the color and the neckline/top on the 2nd brides dress but it would have suited her better if the actual skirt flowed into an A-line,the add on kinda didn't do it this time.More strapless dresses should have boilleros like the first one.
