I think if you’re coming to this bridal boutique, when they ask you what your budget is, automatically deduct £500 from what you want to pay then they might just come up with something you can afford 😂

It happens Apparently I have a beautiful body too and I don't see it. It's called body dysmorphia and it happens to many many women out there (and men, but that's not relevant) It's usually the most beautiful people that can't see it in themselves😞 Little update: I gained some weight and to society's standards I'm not "as beautiful" as I used to be. But I've overcome my body dysmorphia and I am truly happy with my body. It's not perfect, but I take care of it and I'm thankful for it. I am planning to lose some weight, but just because I'll be healthier and not because I'll be "prettier". Do it for yourself not society❤

It's amazing how well these bridal consultants understand the relationship between a person's body and the cut that will flatter it the most. The difference between the two styles made her look like a different woman, just due to the corsetry. Beautiful.

Why not? None of us will be alive forever. Wear it until it falls off your body. I bought one from Heartmycloset at Etsy. It's made to look like a foofy 50s dress. Or will be...as you get older your body wants to turn into a square shape. Lol. So having stuff made or severely altered is often the only choice. But it's not horrifically expensive.

Aimee's so lovely, i love her fiance from the way she described him, and love her venue. so perfect. it's such a shame that someone as stunning as her has body issues first dress, stunning but not her, the waist just wasn't dramatic second, well I love a corset back, and she was just wow stunning pure her. so lovely for the second bride Nicole, so many things to consider when buying a dress and I love that she was honest about all of it, she's awesome with also a stunning venue too. places like that make me cry, and when she described Phillip, wow, her eyes lit up and her dress I do think her mum was right, it was a bit too much in the fabric, and looked to be overwhelming her but the second one. now that was perfect, the lines were cleaner and it suited her better
Agreed, the second bride's first choice was pretty but wasn't particularly flattering..I think there was too much lace and it folded over itself so it looked bulkier. The more delicate lace on the last dress was much better, and gave a lighter feel. The corset dress on the first bride was lovely, although the sample dress had some popped stitches, she will look lovely.

Ow, 1940's has some absolutely beautiful gowns. I think the one she went with is a lot more modern. I wish she went vintage dress shopping for her frock. Necklines were more conservative than this, and the dress wouldn't be so full, or overly embellished, because of rationing during the war. A lot of women even wore short dresses, their Sunday best, or military uniforms.
Some brides look down on corset gowns, but like David said you can't beat a corset gown for a figure shaping gown. She doesn't know much about the looks of the 40's because women did wear corsets in the 40's. A lot of the pinup girls wore corsets in their photo shoots.
I noticed that, but I wondered if it was because she was in the chair. Those clips are large and may have been uncomfortable for her. Surely they made the dress in her size. I hope!

Ow, 1940's has some absolutely beautiful gowns. I think the one she went with is a lot more modern. I wish she went vintage dress shopping for her frock. Necklines were more conservative than this, and the dress wouldn't be so full, or overly embellished, because of rationing during the war. A lot of women even wore short dresses, their Sunday best, or military uniforms.
Some brides look down on corset gowns, but like David said you can't beat a corset gown for a figure shaping gown. She doesn't know much about the looks of the 40's because women did wear corsets in the 40's. A lot of the pinup girls wore corsets in their photo shoots.
I like her in that stunning yellow blouse! That just suits her gorgeously!

I noticed that, but I wondered if it was because she was in the chair. Those clips are large and may have been uncomfortable for her. Surely they made the dress in her size. I hope!
