    I switched from Oxide to Glycinate and saw every benefit you described. Had to go to a supplement specialist store...grocery stores here only stock Oxide.

      add Vit b, vit d, omega 3 and iron. these helps my 1 week of 2hrs sleep.
      i also add chamomile and lemon balm tea.

      MgCl2 works faster for leg cramps.
      N.B. Taken orally not topically. Dilute in a big glass of water (~250 mL).
      ~150 mg of MgCl2 is usually enough to give you relief.
      That's only about 50 mg of Mg... but it's almost 100% absorbed.
      N.B. That's much better than Mg-glycinate or Mg-Citrate which are only ~30% absorbed.

      check your iron/ferritin as well. there’s a good study and recent instances that drinking iron improved sleep and even insomnia.

      Same here, started 4d ago just w 240mg bc the whole dosis is 360mg. I’m taking other meds so I’m watching if it works n then I’ll increase to 360. Feeling n sleeping btr, just w a sip of water b4 going to bed bc don’t want to interfere w using the brm,.. so far is wkng n I love it

    What is the difference between Magnesium Citrate and Magnesium Glycinate ?

      Magnesium citrate is a type of magnesium that has been bonded to citric acid and is frequently used for laxative purposes.
      Magnesium glycinate is a well-absorbed type of magnesium that is linked to glycine and has less laxative impact.

      Mg-Citrate is one of the best absorbed magnesium forms i.e. ~30% (similar to glycinate)
      The laxative effect occurs when Mg is not absorbed e.g. MgOH (Milk of magnesia) which is normally used as a laxative
      N.B. Citric acid (aka citrate) is the same stuff you find in lemons. It's not a laxative.

    I started taking it to help me sleep, it worked great for awhile, not it doesn't help me sleep. I take 200 mg, that's the dosage on the bottle....help!!

      You need double the amount, I suggest two with first meal , two with last meal . It actually gives me energy so I take all mine in the AM

      Typically, the term "glycinate" describes an ester or salt of the amino acid glycine. Because of its high absorption rate and possible health advantages.
      While glycine is an amino acid and magnesium is a mineral, magnesium glycinate is a combination of the two. Because it can be absorbed more readily and causes less discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract than other forms of magnesium, magnesium glycinate is frequently recommended.
