Petronas fuel, every time when they had mystery fuel test. To be clear, I'm not denying if they're good or bad, but just that it looks very much like a sponsored segment.
Yes. Not even 1 participant shared data on fuel efficiency (1% / 10% / 20% more mileage). And what are the other 2 fuels tested?
I feel like that too, but after using the petrol itself can understand what they meant. Better power and fuel consumption for me.
I would’ve much prefered to see some dyno tests in hp figures and consistent fuel consumption tests between Petronas and other brands in a turbo and NA vehicle.
To me, user opinions and feelings are irrelevant and does not reflect how different fuels perform because there are too much variables involved.
You guys already did a consistent test for RON100 vs RON97 with Hafriz. You also did a fuel test of RON95 vs RON97 in 4 Volkswagen sedans which was superbly done and i cannot praise enough how thorough that test was. This should've been treated the same way.
Yes, this. PaulTan you guys can step it up a notch by doing dyno tests. At the end of the day its all about data when it comes to fuel.
Host: You want power or fuel efficiency?
Malaysians: I want everything!
Couldn't believe I just watched a 10minutes ad for Petronas.
Dah agak dah..mmg fuel ini yg kami test tu..petronas ron 97 .. nice..will further go with it.
This pro race tech is very amazing. I'm amazed the difference it brings to my suprima. Responsive yes, more efficient, yes.
Agreed with you, best fuel so far for me, thought BHP was best until this was released.
Clue : the channel sponsor past few years.
Dyno test on the same car with different fuels, the torque and power curve should show the character of the fuel tested
IT'S PETRONAS PRIMAX. SAVED YOU ALL PLENTY OF TIME.
Thanks for saving 11 minutes of my time from watching a sponsored ad video. Using that time to thank you and send good karma your way instead. Peace!
i tried everyting but caltex seems to be the best for me
Some cars need more time maybe a week or more then u can fell the differences.
Tak tau sangat pasal teknologi ni, tapi saya setuju degan most of the testimony. Memang ada penjimatan petrol.
Yoo, didn’t know Harvinder was still here. 😯
long time no see you, havinder. still remember your review about civic FB n accord 9 gen 7 years ago
quite a number of civic 1.5T owner here. lol anyway.. am using ron97 and really can feel the difference. instant kick for my car once i press the pedal .
Lama tak nampak Harvinder on the screen 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Memang power pro race ni, long distance driving memang rasa lebih responsive. Petrol pilihan pertama.
Lol I thought we gonna know all the 3 fuels you guys used for the test
Doesnt matter since we know which one is the best already.
So everyone might be expecting a spoiler comment to know what da petrol dey talkin- but I was like- so, there's a chiq who puts her 86 on the track- naisu-!
Been using ron97 for my car. It works super fine, I do not think the price has much of changes.. But overall, its good for my engines
Im using from shell, i think its the best so far.. Even tho i go here and there, my engine feels smoother
True.. I also recommend my friend to use ron97 from shell since the quality is much better for smooth driving 👍👍👍
@@aidenfatah3292 Right.. I think it works best because u can get better mileage also
@@akmalhadi3149 Yepp, thank god that my engine has positive performance.. Id be mad if its clumpy
i feel this, i feel that....
did it not occur to the team at paultan that a test should be conducted in an objective manner?
all the talk about what they feel and not a single use of numbers to objectively proof that one is better than the other.
the participants sound like they are reading a script.
cringe.
Why this review seems so one sided... and it sound scripted.
Maybe these ppl are not familiar being in front of the screen?
Correct me if i am wrong. Drivers interviewed, drive honda civic, BMW, Proton X70, Toyota 86, Merc. Which uses min RON 97 correct? So test may be base on RON 97 from other brands? And not using small cars as well to test.
Good job petronas! The new pro race, really gives my driving more power!
Really ah???, maybe new addictive. I use 97 with pro drive last time the fuel so fast finish and less mileage comparing petron blaze. Anyways would try this too. Im not a anti to malaysia petronas but hoping they could give good mileage more than all competitors
do comment after use....i wanna know the difference too....sadly just fuel up full my car just now...lol
Well im using shell more responsive than petronas and smooth less vibrate also while caltex is yea quite saving
Very unexpected. Not sure if this is sponsored... Wonder what is the other fuel competitor to the Petronas. If they compare this with buraq oil or any unknown brand...
But the engine ECU adjust accordingly to the type of Ron used...
I have being using Petronas Ron 97 for many years and now launched new fuel to be honest yeah it has the power but my fuel consumption it turn to be very high ( cannot tahan already ) until I had to surrender it. Before launch the new fuel I'm ok with it. Now no more Petronas for me .
i''m already using it for for the past 7 years. hehehe
Just something to discuss. Now every new petrol will said more power and mileages but did not highlight the impact of engine reliability on the long run. Shall ask the mechanic better which fuel is best for the engine in their perspective in order to get an overall view either this petrol is good or not. I don't want to have a formula 1 fuel than give power and milage in a short run but then later the whole engine need to overhaul.
then you'll need to use the type of fuel that prevents corrosion and deposit build up, like the Shell fuelsave one..since it give more protection to your engine overall, not only just focused on giving extra milage
true, its better to consult the mechanic and get their recommendation on the type of fuel best suited for your car, pros and cons, and the quality of the overall petrol.
Also i like the video and it is interesting
Haven't seen this guy in a while.
I know this would be a sponsored segment, and from the get go i already know what brand the fuel is.
But for me,petronas 97 is the best
Im using RON95 fuel all the time. So to be honest, I will still stick to BHP Ron95🤔
I also thought of that before just stick to 95 but tempted to try this, now changed to primax 97 ady. 🤭
None of the Kuala Lumpur branch is using the real RON 97, I have tried 8-9 Petronas branches in KL and Selangor none of them feels like real 97 sell in Perak at all,
I would be much appreciate if every single Petronas branch is honest. Its not far to let all the consumer pays another 63%++ to get shit quality oil.
If you guys know any real 97 available in Kuala Lumpur/ Selangor please let me know.
Most of the comments are it FEELS/THINKS more smooth, more powerful, more this ...not objective. RON 95 vs 97, is not about power but better/complete/uniform combustion. The extra additives in RON97RON100 is reducing the rate of evaporation of the petrol. The fuel stays longer in the tank instead of evaporating while the car is parked, which explains more mileage. The additives are probably making the petrol/hydrocarbon molecules more cohesive thus more dense increasing the energy content explaining the reason for better acceleration and power.
Long time no see, harvinder
It seems it's a prearranged commercial. Those who followed Paultan auto news, we know that they had been working closely with Petronas, and this "surprise" appears to be well within anticipation.
long time no see harvinder
It's all depends on the driver's style of driving. That's how I experience it.
Due to I buy the fuel voucher and did not realized its petronas 97, I can tell the fuel is quite balance between the 2 aspect. Normally, more power need more fuel lo, less throttle less consumption ma save fuel lo. Ifnyou drive in night and colder air sure save fuel and more powerful lo. I am long time petronas user. Now which fuel give best cashback, reward then will go for it. Economoney
Why many Toyota 86, Proton X70 ni ? You cant find the rest of Malaysian car?
i see alot of people saying more power, more power, why not test it on dyno =) just curious
To be honest this looks more like a Petronas advertising rather than real world fuel test lol
Advertising or not, you need to giver the petrol a test. Then you know what these people are talking about. I had the fuel on my car and not changing to other anymore.
To put it to the test, I'm going to try that fuel out.. See whether it's true or not 😏😏
Tested it for a week, one of the best so far, tekan pedal sikit je laju terus.
V- Power Racing or Petron Blaze Ron100 anytime over this
Standardized face masks in the sponsor’s colours? I see what you did there.
If not a blood related, they all must be really closed together because they giggle & woow at same time.
When mazda Service Centre change engine oil from shell helix to petronas syntium im also change petrol also....that my corrrect descision i do...tq petronas
Petronas Gas Station is the easiest Gas Station you can find here in Malaysia because it is plenty, that's why you say that. Try Caltex or BHP for a month and you will see the difference in your mileage and when you start early in the morning. All types of RON97 behave pretty similar when high rev meaning it is smooth, but same story cannot be said to RON95 but there is only one fuel that have the same smooth characteristics like the RON97 and the fuel is BHP. If I am not mistaken BHP has the best based oil compare the rest correct me if I am wrong or maybe it is just the additives. In terms of cleaning and keeping your valves and cylinder head as clean as possible you can't go wrong with Caltex, BHP, and Shell VPower. But then again Shell VPower is just bloody expensive but if you want the best of both world and by that I mean clean and good performance you can't go wrong with Shell VPower. But then again if you drive our national car or a Camry just don't bother so much about VPower lol
straight from formula one technology peps.
I have refuel and test the new petronas ron 97 few times. And this is what i personally feel:
1. my car engine sound it seem a little bit more quiet
2. Accelerate more fluent than before but when it raise up to 3000RPM above i cannot feel the pickup feel it accelerate like a bit delay then the power only come.
3. For the fuel efficiency i can't see any significant big difference between the ron 97 and ron 95
9:10 the car is more agile??? I did not know fuel can make your car more agile 😂
Seems like paid advertisement
Yo this better not be cap 😤 imma pump full tank on my myvi, if it doesnt live up to wat these folks r sayin then tis one confirm sponsored script 😂
Wow! No comments at all?
FIRST? LOL!
let me guess it's Petronas with the new fuel
Interesting that all on-set participants not expecting it to be Petronas 😂 something fishy might be on foot
Not much difference between quality of fuel across all Malaysian gas stations. Still the dirty Euro 2 diesel and Euro 3 (Euro 4m equivalent) petrol. Only makes the Mercedes and Porsche engines kaputt.
Support local brand , Petronas the best.
they talking too much about feeling, not the data. we need data to testify and verify those test. Without this data (km/l, speed of driving, urban or highway, outside temperature), then are sembang kosong kedai kopi. kalau beza antara brand dapat rase.. mesti diorg ni level2 F1 driver.. beze sikit dah dapat rase.. ataupun, hanya perasaan saje..
Buat apa sekali pon pelabur2 otomobil berteknologi tinggi dunia pilih negara jiran.
Yeahhh if you informed the viewers of a sponsored reviews beforehand, that would be great.
Petronas ron97 for the win !
Nice Advertisement
Thought so..
this is bullshit lol obviously petronas been paying you guys lol I have tested all fuel type available in Malaysia and I will say BP & Caltex is the best for my engine because I get good mileage it keep my engine smooth at high rev . Want better performance obviously Shell V Power but it's too expensive.
I also feel bhp the best fuel
True.. Bhp is damm smooth, acceleration is linear plus smooth again.
Yup is true, I travel a lot and change few cars already and each car above 200k mileage. So ya I know is a fact BHP and Caltex is the best for clean and better mileage. Only BHP RON95 gives similar smooth acceleration/high rev like RON97. If you engine is old please use BHP/Caltex straight at least minimum a month and you can see the difference like better gas mileage and easy start and quite idling when start in the morning. The sad thing is the station is not available as wide like Petron, Petronas or Shell but still I make plan for my journey to ensure consistent same BHP fuel or sometimes Caltex because I only pump RON95 now because time is bad sigh.
Petronas give us a ron100 with price of ron95 😂
Only 1 lady driver?
Wow..new way Petronas sponsor and advertise their fuel
Have to try first their petrol bro, then you can judge. So far for me felt more saving coz gives my car extra distance.
Oh cmon PT, ain’t no mystery fuel here so why don’t you just rename the video and call it like it is. Here an idea for a name, Petronas is awesome & papa needs some of em’ green.
Don’t bother watching and waste your time. It’s a Petronas ad. Scripted bullshit response. They didn’t compare any fuel at all.
Is this show sponsored by? Or totally blind test
This is not a fuel test. This is marketing. What about the other 2 fuels? What did the testers think about the different aspects? How many % of participants voted for which fuel? Isn't these results should be included in a standard test? Something smells fishy and I'm doubting the credibility of Paultan.org. Probably got a hefty check from Petronas.
10:08 The most fake wow ever.
👍🏻
Petronas sponsored video
Long story short petronas ron97
Engine vibrate less. Haha 😆 all nonsense feedback
Paid review by petronas lol. I will stick to Ron97 by BHP or Caltex with techron
Toyota 86 is powerful.. 🤣🤣🤣 funny
Nothing scientific in facts n figures; just opinions and as such a careful selection of comments leads a pure marketing efforts. A Big F for such posting. Poor true review
😌😌😌
Sorry but it seems to be scripted. Sponsored
