Well done Guy's, well explained, as an expat in Malaysia I love the fact that Malaysia follows UK/ Europe standards, I'm grateful for that, I'm also fun of ron 97, my Lexus in the UK do appreciate good quality fuel.
I've been using Ron 95 ever since I have bought my motorcycle. But I always experience dragging while running. When I switched to Seaoil Ron 97 my engine run smoother and faster, dragging was gone and my fuel compsumption decreases
I did saw an article said that the compression ratio 11:1:2 must use RON96 and above. Which mean it's recommended for a motorcycles with such compression ratio to perform well and get cleaner ignition. Before this I faced some knocking issue on my motorcycle and that time I'm still using RON95. So then I saw a post about Ron 95 and 97 again in a group, and they put a photo of the articles said that 11:1:2 are recommended to use RON96 and above. In Malaysia there is no Ron 96, so I replaced the fuel and now using Ron 97, while I'm downshift my motorcycle's gear, there is no knocking issue occured and the knocking sounds from the engine are reduced and the engine sounds smoother.
@@amirulasraf307 a lot actually. Not all engines in motorcycles are the same bro. There are single cylinder, parallel twin cylinder, inline twin cylinder, v twin, L-twin, boxer, inline 3 cross plane, inline 4, inline 4 cross plane, V4. That is why motorcycles sound different. So, which means, the factory already set the compression ratio base on what they build in their motorcycle. Some bike are come with low compression ratio, some are high compression ratio.

Actually ron95 and ron97 makes no difference and it won't harm your car engine if you pump ron95 into your engine because most of the cars minimum requirement are definitely below ron95... I don't get it, somebody please enlighten me. Despite the high compression ratio, Mazda Skyactiv-G won't get knocking with RON95 fuel (as the manual says), so why would this guy think RON97 is better for his car?
Mazda's SkyActiv engine isn't exactly high compression. Since it uses the Otto-Atkinson cycle, the expansion stroke is longer than the compression stroke (valve closes later than BDC during compression stroke). The "high compression" ratio quoted by Mazda is actually the expansion ratio. Hence no knocking when you use a "low" RON fuel.
I not really understand what they talking about ,if you wan talk simple then put it simple ron95 is fast burn fuel and ron97 is slow burn fuel ,the higher the Ron number the slower the burn ,so what is slow and fast burn?fast burn mean it design for short spark duration engine which mean older engine and slow burn mean for long spark duration engine ,if you put a fast burn fuel into slow burn engine ofcouse after it burn all the fuel the spark plug still fire and not enough fuel to burn and poor on delivery power that why you lost power,if you put a slow burn fuel into fast burn engine it only burn 75 to 80% of fuel the less will stay in the piston chamber, after long run when engine become hot and the fuel that stay inside piston chamber will start explode it self and that we call knocking because the multiple time explosion in one time spark will damage the pistons ring or rise the temperature inside pistons chamber and melt the pistons crown
Thanks for explaining, may you lower the music on next video :)
