There's a theory that Hyetta may actually be Shabriri possessing the corpse of Irina of Morne. Hyetta and Irina both have the exact same design and voice actress, Irina is always dead by the time you meet Hyetta, and you get one of the Shabriri grapes from the invader of Irina's father, who was driven to madness by his daughter's death.
Fuck me I'm gravited to such coherent theories so much that looking for mistakes almost looks like a sin. Honestly, NPC's stories in Elden Ring are by far the best I've seen from the comapny. Haven't played Sekiro though
Personally, I don’t think this theory is entirely sound. If Hyetta is actually Shabriri possessing Irina, then how could there be two bodies? Unless… it’s just like when Sellen… meaning Irina was the physical body and Hyetta is the ghostly body… Hmm, that’s certainly interesting.
Personally, I always saw them as twin sisters, and I found that sweet enough. But your theory definitely sounds more interesting, and we should hope that the interesting theories always turn out to be the right ones!
Shabriri is cognizant of his possession. Hyetta has no clue she is eating eyes until you tell her. She is disgusted, while Shabriri wouldn't care.
I was wondering that. I just met Irina again and could've sworn she looked just like Hyetta.
Even though Hyetta won't show until Irina is dead, you can still find Irina's body while Hyetta is traveling around

Finger maidens can't set themselves on fire only Melina can because she was made to be kindling for the Erdtree, she's not a fingermaiden.
I doubt the burning of Vyke's madden would have work because he is not the only one who made it to the mountain of giants. Knight Bernahl had his madden burned and we find him as a Recusant, we could assume that it doesn't work and the burning of Vyke's madden would be for nothing. So trying something else, he tried to inherited the frenzy flamel.

a few major fallacies the trembling hands feeding her grapes are frenzied flame victims like in the afflicted and gf village and other areas. they tremble because they tore out their eyes. and the thing shabriri slandered was the merchants. causing them to be persecuted until they were driven to embrace the lies about them and summon the frenzied flame

I don't think it is Shabriri who visits Hyetta with grapes. She tells you that you seem firmer than others giving her grapes, and the grapes are the eyeballs of the infirm. Also you can meet a ghost where you get the first grape, who holds his face in pain and asks where's the maiden who shall take his grapes. IMO this should be enough to confidently say that some people revere Three Fingers and gouge their own eyes out at some point to the blind maidens to guide them, caressing their face as they themselves are now blind and still shrieking in pain from gouging their own eyes out.

A lot of issues with the order. Why would morgit not stop vyke at the tree entrance like any other tarnished? The imprisoned vyke is the round table knight version, not the frenzied flame one we are invaded by.
I've got a question: what the hell was the extent of Shabriri's prowling the Lands Between, aside from turning the Ailing Village, that soldier encampment before reaching the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite, and pockets of groups of monsters and soldiers here and there?
I read a theory that he blamed the Great Caravan for worshipping the frenzied flame instead of the golden order and caused them to be imprisoned. Then the nomadic merchants said "Fuck it" and summoned the Frenzied Flame anyway. So Shabriri not only condemned a whole group of innocents to eternal imprisonment but also the summoning of the Frenzied Flame.

Shabriri’s crime was that he was the one who got the nomadic people locked under the capital where the three fingers reside. He spread slander saying that they worshiped the three fingers and that they were spreading the chaos of the flame of frenzy around.
I dont want to foster any negative energy, and I know you dont make content for ego, but fudgemuppet hasnt released a respectable video since you left. I wouldNT say creatively bankrupt or anything like that. But it's really been an eyeopener on how much I enjoy your style of content. You're an excellent speaker.

And even though I tried to actively and consistently focus on rannis quest line, not for simping, but because of rogier. That's what he asked of me, and he died, so I kept his final wish going. And after I explored and explored and kept exploring, I finally made it to ranni and killed/married????? Ranni.

What I desire from elden ring is quests being added with often. Even if they're new and have very few strings with what's there now. Imagine if you have several new people coming to the lands between wanting to do things. And then the world slowly being more and more populated
With how convoluted and uninvolved the quests are that sounds like a nightmare

@@youstolemyhandleyoutwat my man when the quests are sometimes so confusing people legitamly didn’t know some of the quests were unfinished when the game first came out and only found out after fromsoftware updated the game and said they finished them then maybe it’s just a bit too much
For those in the know the god of The Frenzied Flame (FoF) is Elden Ring's version of Hastur The King in Yellow (KiY) since it's magick revolves around yellow flames that induce madness, not to mention the fact that the Three Fingers themselves kinda look like the most well known version of The Yellow Sign when they open to grab the Tarnished. There's also the possibility that each character involved in the FoF storyline are representations of characters found throughout the KiY mythos.
The Frenzied Flame represents Hastur Himself.
The Lord Of Chaos: The King in Yellow who is either Hastur himself or one of his avatars that he uses as vessels to manifest himself on the earth. It's never actually clear but that's cosmic horror for you.
Vyke: The Tattered King who may be another incarnation of Hastur Himself. This is fitting since Vyke was close to becoming the Lord of Chaos and is wearing a tattered cape after coming in contact with the three fingers.
Shabriri: May represent the Palid Mask since he always covers his face with "his" hands as if they were a mask and in the KiY mythos the Pallid Mask is sometimes the harbinger and messenger of Hastur just like Shabriri is to the FoF.
Hyetta: she may represent Camilla who just like Hyetta went mad when facing a crucial truth concerning the KiY/FoF. In the case of Hyetta it was either her learning the nature of the "grapes" or when you as the lord of FoF burned her eyes. Camilla went mad when coming face to face with the Pallid Mask and learning a horrifying truth about the entity ("No mask?, No mask!!?).
And then there's Vyke maiden who may represent Cassilda.

I don't think Shabriri does anything by force. When he gives the grapes to Hyetta I don't think it's him doing it. It seems obvious to me that it is his mad followers willingly gouging out their own eyes. The shrieking is that of pain and the trembling all the same. We need not do such a thing so we do not tremble.

The frenzy flame is the best and most equitable ending you can get with a game.
The most evil character is the Elden Beast. What it did to Marika and what it has been responsible for, the war against the dragons, the giants, the Carian family. All the while leeching the very life force from the land. Shabriri and the three fingers are simply insane, they see nihilism and chaos as the only solution. But can you really blame them?
Why are the eye sockets hollow of those taken by chaos?

The Vyke we find in our world is locked up and did not give in to the flame. He still fights with all his dragon stuff. The Vyke who invades us is an unique type of invader called a festering finger*print* not a festering finger, suggesting this is an imagined invader from the ff and not a real version of Vyke.
We know Vyke was also present at Faram Azula given the fact that he has the red lighting which was only just created and didn't get spread outside before it was destroyed. Seems much more likely that he was trying to help some faction of dragon beast folk against whichever faction of the golden order ended up on top.
I actually believe the Flame of Frenzy is a force for good. I’m one who generally stands opposed to the rule of kings over peasants. Of the strong who oppress the weak. To me, the Flame of Frenzy seeks to end all the pain and suffering brought by the Golden Order, who impose the Greater Will’s supremacy over the Lands Between. The question is, was this truly a good thing? Was it in the interest of the common folk of the Lands Between to have power hungry Empyreans waging bloody civil wars, grafting the population into military service, all so some arrogant demigod can do whether they want?
No.
Just like the Empire of Tamriel, which places self-serving nobles above honest, hardworking commoners, the Golden Order too operates purely out of self-interest. It doesn’t care about the people. It only cares about using the people to keep the Greater Will happy. So why not burn it all to the ground!
Yes, the Golden Order isn’t even favoured by other factions like Ranni, Silverfolk of Nokron, the Fire Giants. Are we to believe they’re all crazy? That they’re just insane beings? Not at all. In fact, these factions aren’t demonised as lunatics like the Frenzy Flame. Why?
Because the Frenzy Flame is the only force which has the highest chance of defeating the Greater Will! That’s why the followers of the Three Fingers are “just a bunch of psychos”. Like the Joker of DC, who is an incredibly intelligent character, he too is called crazy, all because he exposes the crimes of the system. Because he knows the truth that others are blind to, or even the Hollows of New Londor of Dark Souls. They too must be insane for desiring an age where Humanity determines their own destiny, without any unjust preordained system which places their people on the lower ends of society.
…and that is why I made the Tarnished choose the Three Fingers. The Golden Order are corrupt, the Lake of Rot is rising, the Lands Between is a total disaster. Burn it all away… and let the world be born anew, without kings, without slaves… Let it all be undone, and let “chaos” free us all!

Lol Shabriri is not sneaking around blinding people so Hyetta can eat their eyes, what? We see a ghost in the back of Stormveil as well as the ghost near where Vyke invades who clearly indicate folks are willingly giving her their eyes. Why would they do that? Because for beings who can't die in any real sense, their only chance at escape is to be absorbed into a lord contender. Only what happens if you are too weak for anyone to want to absorb you? You go get grafted or you wander around offering ladies your eyeballs.
Best friend Shabriri is also "the most hated man in history" is supposed to be read as doxa (opinion) not episteme (true knowledge). Who's opinion? Who's history? The Golden Order. Why? Because chaos is the opposite of order. But order also needs chaos to emerge from. So it's not surprising/poetic that when order banishes chaos it becomes chaos.

The video is describing madness as something external to the thing itself, like an outside invader. That is wrong & a fundamental misreading of a number of symbols such as Gold vs Yellow, the gouged eye sockets of FF vs the empty ones of the finger readers, Shabriri grapes vs Hero's runes etc

Your videos are good, but please why won't you let the characters speak instead of reading their lines? I think the voice acting is superb in this game and I always love hearing the characters whenever I stumble on some videos like this
